"I recently visited The Shilo Inn, home to The Portage Grill. I was a bit surprised to find Cajun dishes on the menu, especially given the location in the ravine. However, I must say it was the best service I’ve experienced in a long time. The food was outstanding and the view was fantastic. If you ever find yourself in The Dalles, be sure to stop by and see for yourself!"

"Took my coworkers out to eat spending $300 there and the food was nasty. Out of the 9 people that was there 5 of us got sick from the food and the kids also got sick. When I called the manager Mike knew what was making us sick because he asked if we had the shrimp, Then when I called to let them know and to see what they can do for us and he only was able to give me a stupid $40 gift card. That’s not going to do for what I had paid. This place is not good and the service is horrible. Management is a joke and I won’t be going there anymore. $300 is a lot of money to waste on nasty food. The server also seem like she was drunk and couldn’t handle our table. Just bad."

"I've been coming here for breakfast for years, and I was a bit concerned that the food might have declined with the new management. However, my breakfast was just as wonderful as ever, if not even better! I was pleasantly surprised. I highly recommend Kingsbridge for breakfast. There's also something new that I can't comment on just yet: they now have a full Indian menu. I'm a fan of Indian cuisine and plan to try it out in the future."

"We went because a friend spoke so highly about them and we needed to eat as we had been on the go for several hours and didn't want fast food. The food and service were both excellent. It was a wonderful time. Even my 7 month old granddaughter had a goodtime. My only concern is that they are right off the highway (K7) but are difficult to find even thoughI am familiar with thearea. I feel sorry for people from out of town, trying to find it. I definitely recommend them."

"The food was delicious the service was outstanding and the people were friendly, I absolutely loved the atmosphere it was comfortable yet upscale at the same time, not a big restaurant a nice size (medium) there was also a piano player that added to the Ambience the other people that were dining weren’t loud, it was somewhat quiet which is a plus for me, overall I loved my experience at this restaurant and I’ll be back soon."

"Stopped for the night on a cross country roadtrip. The hotel staff recommended the Roman Castle. We were so glad they did. The food was absolutely awesome. "This is an amazing deli! The breakfast here is fantastic, and the owners are really kind! The restaurant is a bit tucked away, located behind the Suntrust Bank where the parking is available. I tried the farmer's breakfast and it was delicious! The potatoes were my favorite—cooked to perfection and seasoned just right."

"Dined on Saturday night. Ordered wine and a margarita. Wine glass was dirty, margarita was ok. Not sure if there was any alcohol actually in it because it didn 't really taste like anything and I 'm a lightweight. Ordered salad with no tortilla strips but got them anyway. Beef and shrimp fajitas were decent. Watch out for the would you like chips and salsa? question because they aren 't free but they don 't tell you that. Watch out for that device sitting on the table. Click on games or anything and there 's a fee that 's going to show up on your check. Make sure you look at the details before you pay!!! Rarely eat here and likely won 't be a regular."

"This is our new favorite local BYOB spot. We've been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is superb. If you like well crafted food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting, beautifully plated food then this is a great place to go. We've been twice and both times they have been great with dietary restrictions as well. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!) but also a great place to take visiting friends and relatives or for a special night out or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We'll keep going back for sure."

"Great food and excellent service! The staff was very friendly and our breakfast was fantastic. The hot cakes are excellent and the portions are very generous. The interior is much larger and spacious than the outside would suggest it goes back quite far and opens into another large dining area at the back. The restaurant was busy for a Saturday morning but never felt crowded or cramped. Highly recommended!"

"The only downside was having to scan a barcode with our phones to access the menu—I didn't quite figure that out, but that's just a small hiccup. My wife and I had the Cajun pasta: she chose chicken, and I picked shrimp. Our daughter, referred to as Babybear, got a pizza, and our stepdaughter had a hot ham and cheese sandwich (I think). "It seems we waited a long time and never received our chips and dipping sauce, while everyone else did. Did you know the food was poorly prepared? The onions looked like they belonged in the garbage instead of on our plates, and the green peppers were unevenly cut. There were also three tiny bubbles in my dish. It was hard to chew, and after paying the bill, I don't think I'll be coming back again."

"I tried the 30-minute pizza special. The crust was a bit too thick and hard for my liking, but it did have a satisfying crunch when folded in half. I'd rate the crust a solid 4 out of 10, while the cheese was better at a 7 out of 10, even though it might not stand out at the 30-minute mark. There was quite a bit of oil on it; I had to dab it with a paper towel to avoid a greasy mess. Some people might enjoy that, but it's not for me. Overall, if you're craving pizza and don’t mind paying a bit more for something ordinary, this could be a decent option."

"Wow the best breakfast I have found so far in this kc town!!! The spinny Benny eggs Benedict that my wife had was amazing it was made the way it supposed to be made. And I Had the biscuit Benny another amazing breakfast. These breakfast meal blow the competition out of the water. I have gone out for breakfast every other week locally over the last four month and Pegah's is the first breakfast that I have found worthy of five stars as of yet. And I have tryed all levels restaurants for breakfast locally! Many have falled short of there hyped up advertisement of being the best breakfast!"

"Absolutely horrible service; we sat alone at the empty bar, and the bartender only v came by once. We had no silverware when our food arrived. We ran out of napkins and had to get our own another table. We had to stop 2 separate servers to get refills, manager was never around all night. Will not return, do not recommend."

"Franco's makes the best pizza in the WB area. I've been a fan of Franco's for years, going way back to when they were still Frank's, further down the street. Wonderful family business that has friendly hard working staff ready to help, answer questions, and accommodate any special food requests (for allergies other food sensitivities). I can't recommend Franco's enough try it you'll be a repeat customer too. Kid friendliness: My ten and seven year old nephews love Franco's. The staff are very kid friendly."
