"this place is fantastic, definitiw casual with high quality brewing food. the fact that it is 24 hours or at least open by when eating normal people, supplements its size. I had heard good things about it, but the place was undersold me. I should go to this weekend to new orleans, but it was changed to houston the last minute so I was looking forward to some Cajun food, so I thought I would give this place a try. it is small, and I guess park can be a challenge, as it warns at their door over not parking on any other property. but it was early on Saturday morning and as I had to make an early flight, was ready for lunch. I tried her midnight masterpiece roast beef poboy, and it's perfection with just the right amount seasoned to add a kick. I'm not sure why others didn't like the brot, but it was fresh, and perfect with the right amount of heel to support the juicy monster that the midnight masterpiece is. it is definitiw no mass produced hogie rolle, as a reviewer said, so guess they are back to their original brot that louisiana screams. there were some other people in the restaurant and everything looked great, and prepared exactly like the really big little places that, if they were lucky, find them in louisiana. I think about trying the shrimps tomorrow morning and grits before I fly home. br excellent small local restaurant that you need to try out. they also tell me that they make their Louisiana type daquiri with wein so that they can go with their commands as they do not drive the high occitane louisiana through daquiri, but they can serve them to go as in louisiana. they say they are tex louisiana, and that is an apte description because they basically have a Cajun place with ding. the wine is another place they only have to try."
