"I used to love this restaurant for a long time, but recently they have been inconsistent. I'm not sure why, but every time I order, there always seems to be something missing. For example, I ordered enchiladas and they forgot the sour cream, or I ordered chilaquiles and only received one egg instead of two. Sometimes they even get the order wrong. Additionally, the portion sizes have decreased compared to before. The food still tastes great and the service is good, but it's disappointing that there always seems to be an issue with my orders lately."

"Two Sundays ago, we placed a takeout order from this restaurant through Yelp and picked it up from the restaurant. We ordered Elote corn (street corn), guacamole which included freshly fried tortilla chips, shrimp tacos, and chicken and mole tacos. The chicken and mole tacos also had sweet plantain pieces in it which was different. The food was really good. Service placing the order through Yelp and picking it up at the restaurant was fine. When we got to the restaurant, one of the staff asked us our order number/ name and then handed us our food. Ambiance I briefly checked out the restaurant and it was nice. They had indoor and outdoor seating. The only reason I didn't give five stars is because I felt like the process we paid for the food through Yelp was a bit high. I wonder if it would have been different if we placed the order directly at the restaurant or dined there. However, I'm looking forward to trying their other dishes next time we are in that area. I recommend all to check out this spot if you are craving Mexican cuisine."

"I would recommend this restaurant more for its ambiance than the food. The atmosphere is lively, and the staff is exceptionally friendly and attentive. The dishes are visually appealing and beautifully presented. Although I wasn’t particularly impressed with the flavors of the meals I tried, I still think it's worth a visit to see for yourself. There’s street parking available, the prices are reasonable, and they can easily accommodate large groups."

"I really appreciate the friendly staff and the food was quite decent. However, my date and I had to wait an unusually long time—about an hour—for our meals, supposedly because of a kitchen issue. To make matters worse, other patrons who arrived after us were served first. While I would consider returning on another occasion, the dinner atmosphere was too loud and unrefined for my taste. Additionally, the door was left open, allowing smoke from outside to waft into the restaurant, which made me feel unwell."

"I absolutely love Mariscos! Their tacos dorados and the shrimp wrapped in bacon with cheese are amazing! The service is excellent and very timely. I highly recommend it for a special dinner or even just for a cozy meal."

"I would suggest giving this restaurant another try to a friend, as my recent experience was not up to the usual standard of this charming neighborhood spot. However, I would recommend approaching with caution. It's possible we visited on an off night or that there has been a change in ownership. The service was slow starting on a not-so-busy Saturday evening. There was a strange smell of burned plastic coming from the kitchen due to a small fire. The burrata was tough and chewy, but the roasted Brussels sprouts were delicious. My dinner companions found their meals to be average, including the specials. It seemed like there may have been a new staff trying to find their footing. Overall, I did not recognize any of the familiar servers."

"The food was disgusting, we returned 6 out of 7 appetizers that were served to us. The poor quality meat is poorly cooked and has a bad taste. They calculated every last cent of the bill. Shame should give them the lousy customer service and the lousy quality of the food with the years they have on the market !!!!! I will never return and I would not recommend it to my worst enemy. Expensive and lousy in every way"

"I do not recommend this restaurant. even if they are the fact that there is nowhere near authentic japanese, eating itself is not tasty and the texture and the aromas are off ( rice is dry/flavorless, meat is dry and one-dimensional, sushi is not very fresh.) the drinks are decent and the portions are large, but the prices are steep and the service lacks more often than not. Waiting times are also quite long. my local friends looove come here so I have often been here and have given it many chances, hoping each time for a kind of improvement. I was disappointed by everyone visiting, but they know what, I will probably come further here because everyone seems to love this place, and it ends up being a meeting point again and again. to be fair, I would consider myself as a foodie and spent the last 30 years of my life in asia, literally flew into various Asian countries specifically for food tours. if they are like me and have high standards for her, this place is not for her. Otherwise it seems a lot of people who enjoy this place so they enjoy the drinks and lively atmosphere!"

"We ate off the buffet and while there was a good selection some of the food was really dried out. We had reservations for 7 and they close the buffet down at 8 so after we got our drinks and appetizer there wasn’t a lot of time left for buffet although our waitress did come and at least tell us they were going to close it down in case we wanted more."

"Go for pizza or drinks. Avoid everything else. Stopped in on a Sunday night and the place was almost dead. Despite this. A roasted chicken came out nearly raw after 20 minutes. Fortunate that I did not fall ill due to this ridiculous mistake. In hindsight, the waitress I believe was giving me a heads up by saying the kitchen is a little behind tonight, again despite it being dead. I might give this place another shot, but with the plethora of good pizza places within 2 mile radius, it may be a while."

"Alright first time coming to this place. I’m not sure how this place has good reviews. If I can give this zero stars I would. my family and i love seafood and this food was disgusting. I ordered fried fish it had such a weird smell and no flavor.My husband ordered a big platter of crab legs and shrimp and same thing no flavor not worth the money. my son ordered fried shrimp.. let’s just say it was so greasy that the breading was not even crunchy. Our waiter was nice but the guy sucked. I kept having to remind me to bring me lemon, refills and salt. You can tell he was new.The only good thing was a kids burger that my daughter liked.With every entree you get a side of fish soup.. all it is is tomato soup with pieces of what seems to frozen fish probably tilapia.IWon’t be going back I rather go to crab shack on art craft."

"A good, but not great meal this time. Have dined at Amada several times...this was our go to special occasion restaurant. The meal we did the tasting menu was fine but not as spectacular as our prior experiences. The noise level which we were familiar with makes it a real challenge to have any meaningful conversation at the table without feeling like you need to shout. Despite putting a note in my Open Table reservation that we were celebrating a special anniversary, no mention by the staff. If we go again, will be for a regular night out....not a special occasion."

"On our first night during a week of celebration, we had the best waitress I’ve ever encountered at a restaurant. She immediately recognized that we were celebrating and truly engaged with us, making us feel special. The food was absolutely delicious as well. "For our main courses, we had the Lomo de Cerdo, which was a delicious pork tenderloin served on a black bean base, and the Codicia de Pescado Mariscos, featuring a generous selection of seafood in a lobster brandy reduction with saffron rice and fennel. We also indulged in yucca fries, which were delightful! The portions were so filling that we didn’t even have room to look at the dessert menu. Next time, we'll opt for lighter dishes to save room for dessert. The staff was incredibly hospitable and friendly, and we cannot wait to return!"

"Tagines, we thought, would be moist and aromatic. Wrong. I had the lamb, which was moist, but so bland that the chef should urgently contact his/her mother for the proper recipe. 5 chickpeas and 6 olives are measly for a tagine. My dining companion had the fish tagine and the fish was dried out. Actually it looked as if it had been fried somewhere and then put in a tagine. It does not appear there is a kitchen on the premises which, in my opinion, is a must for a restaurant. No more Khamsa dinners for us."

"While the food was ok,it was the poor service that brought this place way down. We were a large group and I received a call asking us to be prepared to pay with one credit card. On arrival, we were seated in front of two open doors making the entire experience unreasonably cold and uncomfortable. Our waiter was rushing us through our meal, complained when we asked for an extra plate and, of course included the tip so he had no incentive to be cordial or accommodating. Drinks also use low grade tequila- be sure to ask to swap out for better liquor. No one in our party would go again."

"After a long day of riding, Humita Express hit the spot. The food was delicious. I ordered the ceviche de pescado. It was played nicely with some plantain chips, popcorn, and tostado on the side. It was a very tasty and refreshing dish. If you like some spice, definitely add the sauce into the dish. I also tried the grilled trout and shrimp. The sauce was great, and it was well balanced and filling. The passion fruit juice is a must with your meal. All of this good food was paired with a wonderful and welcoming staff. I felt at home. This Ecuadorian restaurant is probably the best of its kind around Chicago. I appreciate the option of a fast out the door carry out style with classic Ecua dishes. You won't be disappointed. Si eres Latino, tinenes que probar lo. It's a refreshing change from having Mexican food for the 100th time."

"We’ve been going to Milton’s for a long time and most of our experiences are good, especially dining in the staff is friendly. But when it comes to pick up the pizza is very inconsistent. Sometimes it’ll be the best thing ever and sometimes it’ll be like today, something so overcooked and burnt I should’ve just used it as a frisbee. If you see something this poorly overdone, it should be redone. Most of it was inedible. We’d ordered the same exact pizza several days before and it was fabulous. I think we are going to take a Milton’s break."

"The service and wine list were fine, but our dinner was a disappointment. Two in our party had the grouper, which was good, but the portion of risotto was so small they could just about find it. My friend and I had the orange roughy. It's hard to comment on the taste, while it was rather fishy, the portion was so small it didn't really matter. The a la carte side dishes were really good, and thank goodness we ordered them so we at least felt as if we had eaten a meal. For a rather expensive dinner, we expected far better."
