Had the beef bourguignon twice now, and each time it was awesome, delicious! Corkage fee of is reasonable, thank you

Service was great but our food was quite bland, the chicken in the chicken sandwich was undercooked and none of the egg dishes had much seasoning.

I had to return the Coq au Vin because it was undercooked. They made a new one, but it took a long time and my friends had to wait to eat. When it came back, it was grey and not edible. I couldn't even cut the meat from the leg. My friend ordered the Beef and liked it. It wasn't a busy night, but the service was very slow.

We loved Cafe Brioche and are surprised that we have not been there for many years ...there are just so many restaurants in our area and we try many. We'll be back and soon. The menu was interesting and the food delicious (boef bourginon, chicken with artichokes). The prices were moderate and a great value for the quality and quantity of the entrees. One of us had an onion soup that could be a meal in itself.

I'd recommend this to a friend, to give them another chance, as my recent experience is not at all what I've had in the past at this sweet neighborhood gem. But, I'd do it carefully. Maybe we caught them at an off night, or maybe there has been a change in ownership? For a notfull Saturday evening, the service was slow to start. Something caught fire in the kitchen that gave off a smell of burned plastic that lingered for a bit. The burrata was tough, as in hard and chewy, but the roasted sprouts were yummy. I would suggest giving this restaurant another try to a friend, as my recent experience was not up to the usual standard of this charming neighborhood spot.
