"We had 4 people in our group. We were seated at a lovely table with a nice view of the harbor, and we had a beautiful sunny day for early March. Our server was excellent and kept a leisurely pace which we preferred and enjoyed. The fresh warm bread and garlic herb butter was a really nice touch. I ordered the blue cheese wedge salad and was expecting a blue cheese dressing, instead it came with a champagne vinaigrette, which I really enjoyed it. The two men in our group ordered the clam chowder and both enjoyed the soup. One noted it was maybe a bit heavy on the bacon but liked that the clams were minced rather than chopped. The only problem experience was with the prawn Louie, where the prawns had an off taste to them. The presentation was beautiful on the salad, just disappointed with the seafood item. We will still plan to visit you again."

"This is one of my go-to places whenever I'm in town. I've sampled various dishes from the menu, and the Bronx pizza with sausage and red onion is a must-try. I often order it to go and enjoy it on the beach. The clam chowder is tasty, and the cioppino is the best I've ever had. The coconut shrimp are fresh and crispy, and they pair perfectly with the mango sauce. My all-time favorite dish is the seafood paella. The service is excellent as well."

"Our visit was great. We had spent the day down on the beach, very windy and cool this day. We walked to the street and had to wait a small amount of time. We sat and visited quickly and from a wonderful waitress who definitely had hands full of them. We had 6 adults and 5 children in our group. The waitress was helpful in describing food for the children who were interested in trying new things. We tried the fried green beans that were a special of the day, the regular chowder bowl, fish and chips, and grilled pesto chicken sandwich. The whole food was delicious and hot when it came out. My oldest absolutely loved the Chowderschale and was very happy that he had an attempt. The first time with Clam Chowder. I would recommend eating here after a walk through the city or down the beach. Get warm and fill the bells."

Unlike the usual tubes and tentacles, the calamari was served in strips, lightly breaded and tender, and came with cocktail and tartar sauces. I ordered the shrimp and chips, while my wife opted for the chicken mushroom fettuccine. Both dishes were filling and satisfying, though not particularly innovative. The service was quick and efficient, and overall the food was good and simple."

"I visited this place with my two kids after exploring Pike Place Market, and it’s conveniently located just a short walk away, which was a great advantage. The pier itself is beautiful—clean and full of activities. Outside, there’s the Great Wheel and other attractions like a boat tour and Wings Over Washington. Inside, you can find arcades, ice cream, a vintage carousel, shops, snacks, and a restaurant. We went on a Sunday around 2 PM, and unfortunately, most of the indoor activities were closed, leaving only the ice cream shop and a few stores in the arcade open. We ended up sitting on the pier, enjoying the water and people-watching for a while. This pier is definitely worth a visit, and I’d love to come back when everything is open again!"

"I’ve always wanted to try this place and each time I’m in Randolph, I forget about it. We happen to be at Lombardo‘s for an event, my dad nigh, and we wanted to have lunch after. I always forget about Fred’s seafood… Not today! This is located 3 miles down from Lombardo‘s so we popped in because my dad absolutely loves seafood. I will tell you that this place is very small and it is very nondescript. Very plain tables and chairs and could definitely use a makeover since they’ve been in business since 1968. But honestly, that was the charm of this place. I would not change a thing. I asked the man behind the counter if he was Fred and he told me no, his name was Billy and he was Fred’s son. He told me His parents opened the place in 1968. I was in the mood for scallops and my dad ended up getting a clam strip plate. There was a soda machine there that cost $1.00 per can so we each got a soda to go with Our meals. Billy brought our meals out and place them on the table in my eyes probably went wide as saucers LOL we started to eat our meals and we both looked each other as if to say, “we will definitely be back again and again for seafood!“ My dad and I shared each other’s meals so I did get to taste the clams and everything was just perfect. The scallops were big, plentiful and cooked perfectly. The french fries were hot, crispy and fresh. There was so much, that I had to take some of it home There is no bad or ugly with this place. A simple small restaurant in a strip of stores (on street parking) with a few tables to eat at, nondescript decor, and seafood at its best in Randolph, Massachusetts. Total cost was $26 which was well worth the money to me."

"I really enjoy the food at Nikka, but I dislike that they only have high top tables outside. I tend to avoid dining at places with only high tops because it's difficult for me to get up and down due to a back issue, and I would imagine this is a challenge for many older patrons as well. They claim to be dog-friendly outside, but it's quite hard to manage a dog from a high top table. The patio is nice, but the atmosphere inside isn't very appealing with only low tables. I would love to see them replace one of the two-top and one of the four-top tables with two lower tables. When I mentioned this to the staff, their response was pretty much, "That's just how it is.""

"This is revision to my first review, today while in the area I stopped and they were finally open! I have to say this was TOTALLY worth the wait! First, the young lady answered all my questions and was knowledgeable about the best choices for what I wanted. The menu was small but in a good way, they do fish, and they do chips, I saw a chowder and like one or two other things on the menu, GOOD, play to your strengths! The fish tasted fresh, and we watched them hand batter it, I went for the four piece because usually these places skimp a little, NOT HERE, I was stuffed after the second piece! I want to give a shout out to their fries too, these are exactly the kind of fries I love, and they are fresh and well seasoned. Last the vibe was Poppin, this whole little area reminding me of L.A. very vibrant and full of life, people hanging out, socializing. This is the kind of place I moved back to the city to be part of. I currently have what a catch tied with first place for my favorite fish and chips."
