"The restaurant changed menu and the new menu is nothing close to a Tapas menu. We reserved this restaurant because we saw the pictures and the Tapas menu (their old menu) on OpenTable, and expected a good time. But their new menu removed almost all popular Tapas items, like the grilled octopus leg, seafood paella, meat and cheese board options, and etc. The service was good. But the food itself was mediocre, all dishes came salty. The truffle spaghetti dish tasted hard and undercooked, and had 0 truffle taste. Given the restaurant’s rating on Google and OpenTable, I think it might used to be a nice local gem with decent food options and quality. But now, they really need to work on their menu and probably chefs."

"One of my favorite local restaurants because of their amazing food and drinks. I normally order a bottle of wine and a charcuterie board, but I wanted to try something different this time. My sister got a lemon drop mocktail which was a little sour, but just the right amount. She said it was delicious I had the Penelope Pussycat which had Bacoo 8 year aged rum, Liqueur de Violette, and lemon juice. The drink had such a pretty color and had an interesting flavor to it as well!For appetizers, we had the Gambas al Aljillo which had a nice corn salsa to go along with it. We also had the Roasted Cauliflower which was cooked perfectly and the Beef Kushiyaki which came with chilled soba noodles. The Beef Kushiyaki was something so unique that I would not have thought I was in a wine bar. It was so flavorful! For our entree we got the Black Truffl'd Fettucine. The pasta was a bit bland, and I was surprised because I usually always order that pasta and it's my favorite. I think the sauce might have been a bit watered down. For dessert we had some tea and the Meritagewich' which comes with homemade chocolate chip cookies. The tea and dessert was perfect for a cold day!I definitely recommend trying this place out with a few friends and ordering a bunch of small plates to share. This way you can try a bit of everything. I really loved every single small plate we ordered! Thank you so much to the staff that made our experience a pleasant one"

"We had a great time at this restaurant, enjoying vegan tapas and paella. There were plenty of options to choose from, including 7 vegan tapas, two salads, and veggie paella. We tried a variety of tapas and the paella, all of which were excellent. The cocktails were also fantastic. The service was very friendly, and I appreciated that the staff were willing to mark up the menu to help us easily identify vegan options. A great dining experience overall. "Ordered Chefs feast to get a good sample of the top items. The feast was a normal meal size, nothing special. Would have just been better to order the variety options that we were interested in.The ribs where suggested as a must try item, Seemed like they were stewed all day and were more slimy than good.Overall good food and drinks, but nothing stood out as special."

"Cozy setting, on the embarcadero. Recommend sitting in larger inside room. Food was okay. Had about 9 dishes, shrimp okay, cheese plate mediocre, bravo potatoes best dish (but hard to screw up) , octopus okay, drinks were visually appealing, plus they used fever tree tonic. Desert tasted like cream brulee but did not have hard crust . 3/5 stars"

"As time went on, I noticed that my guest received all their tapas, while I was left wondering about the status of my paella. After waiting for about an hour, I decided to flag down my waiter to check on it. It turned out that my order hadn’t been entered into the system. A manager soon approached to let me know they were prioritizing my paella and that it would be ready in about 20 minutes. When I finally received my dish, it was missing the modifications I had requested. I understand it was a rainy day and the restaurant was bustling with large parties, which likely contributed to the chaos. However, it was disappointing that my delay went unacknowledged for such a considerable amount of time. While the managers did a commendable job in trying to rectify the situation, this experience stood in stark contrast to my previous visits in Barcelona, which had always been exceptional. It may be a while before I decide to return."

"We hadn't planned on going to Bottega, but since there was no breakfast restaurants in Yountville other than the bakery across the street, who were sold out of the ham and cheese croissants, we ended up here at Bottega for lunch. We were on our way to the Yountville Veteran's Home Cemetery to visit my husband's father's (a Pearl Harbor survivor) grave. I decided to have the dishes I have been wanting to try to make myself. The lasagna made with zucchini and potatoes was excellent. I couldn't make one like this if I tried. They had the layers so thinly sliced which I don't have the appropriate tool to do. Also I wanted to try the roasted cauliflower. It had a layer on top of a pine nut mixture which added to the flavor and texture of the dish. I highly recommend everyone try these two dishes. My husband was equally pleased with his two selections. Nicole our waitress was very attentive to our needs. She made this a very pleasant experience."

"**The Good:** The food was enjoyable overall. The scallops were good, and the corn salsa was outstanding. We also tried the Tita and Blanca sangrias, both of which were tasty, particularly the Blanca. A special seafood soup we ordered was flavorful, and the seafood in it was nice. On the whole, the flavors throughout the meal were commendable. Plus, the service was extremely friendly and delightful. **The Meh:** The soup didn't quite hit the mark for us, but that’s just a matter of personal preference since we lean toward heartier seafood soups. The empanadas were average; my partner had an inexplicable aversion to them. Additionally, the chips served with the guacamole felt like they were store-bought and lacked freshness. Overall, while the flavors were good, the food was just okay. **The Funny:** We were accidentally served an order of bacon-wrapped dates that was clearly meant for another table. Unfortunately, we realized too late and couldn’t find a server to let them know. It seems they may have misheard our order. We didn’t check to see if we were charged for the dates. In summary, this was probably the most underwhelming dinner we've had since moving to Silver Spring. It could be a matter of what we ordered, but it’s hard to say for sure."

"We had a fantastic experience at Versi Vino. Our server, Amanda, was incredibly patient in explaining the wine and food menu. The wine flights were an excellent way to sample different wines and choose a bottle to order. The charcuterie platter was beautifully presented. My husband and I shared the octopus, duck breast, and lamb chops, which was just the right amount of food. We also got to try our dining companions' steakhouse Santorini flatbreads—delicious! To finish the meal, we enjoyed a fall-flavored budino topped with salted caramel and pepitas, which was absolutely to die for! The ordering process felt a bit complicated, likely due to our large group, staggered arrivals, and chatting while Amanda was explaining the menu (which was our own doing). We would definitely return!"

"Five of us ordered filet mignon (for $42), and when it came out, after an hour, it was definitely not filet. It tasted good, but it was not filet mignon. The potatoes were supposed to be fingerling potatoes, they were not. The potatoes, carrots, and asparagus were all cold. The menu indicated there would be green beans, but there were none on any of our plates. One of the plates was missing the carrots as well. The Server offered to give us free desserts, and since we were not satisfied with that, he offered to have the owner come out and speak with us. We started to explain the issues to the owner, but she interrupted us, and simply angrily said “okay, I’ll comp them” and proceeded to pick up each of our full plates from the table and take them away. Our server, Tyler, did a very good job and provided good customer service."

"the last two times we were here, we loved it. this time the cook seemed to be free on his day and the cook was not so good. but the garnelensalat was still good. the mushrooms that should be in a sherry sauce, and that I had twice before, were served with a balsam glaze nozzle. to add insult to injury, the server insisted that it came like this! brot was really nice, crusty and tasteful. lachs was just as good as the last two times we had. all in all still good, but not excellent."

"Had the charcuterie, olives, meatballs, Brussels sprouts, potatoes bravas, lamb empanadas and potato leek soup. Everything was delicious... our only complaint was the Brussels sprouts weren’t crispy and had too much dressing on them. Service on the other hand was lackluster. It was our first time here and our waiter didn’t do a good job of explaining the menu, portions or how they would be brought out. We expected everything at once, but they kept waiting for us to finish what they brought before bringing the next plate. We ended up getting our final plates to go because we had been there for 2hours already. We’d go again as the food was great and the other waiters seemed to be more attentive than ours."

"Cafe des Architectes was simply not what I thought it would be. However, that does not mean it was lackluster. On the contrary, it was tasty but neither me or my lunch date were WOWed by the lunch menu.When we arrived for a 12:30PM reservation on a Wednesday afternoon, the dining room was completely empty. Shortly after seating, it was half booked.The space itself is absolutely stunning. It is very modern and bright and open. The flatware was of quality design and so were the linens. The details put into the aesthetics no doubt mirror the type of modernity you find in the hotel.The service here was good. Almost too good. The waitstaff approached us too many times during the meal to refill water or inquire as to how everything was or if we wanted more bread.The chicken sandwich was delicious and so were the fries. My enjoyed his pork belly sandwich, but did feel as if it was overcooked. Pork belly tends to be very juicy (due to the fact) but he mentioned it was a tough a just a bit dry.I won't be running back to CdA but if I do come back, it will be for dinner."

"the food was delicious, service super. high prices, but we expected that with the quality. the tables were quite close together and therefore very loud. during our culinary experience there were also two very loud parties. a woman screams “Go Jags” as she went and other guests scream duval. there was another group of ladies who celebrated a birthday right next to us, who were also quite disgusting. overall, it was a low loudness at night, so I think they were sitting somewhere else, so they didn't bother others. overall the dishes were also delicious and the drinks."

"The food was as good as ever but I was saddened by the disrepair of the restaurant. The bench seat at our table had a VERY LARGE tear in the leathery fabric as did the bench across from us. I am not talking a little wear but a gaping hole at least in length. We were a party of three so I refused to sit at that end and the host didn’t react at all to my objection. If we had been four we would have refused that table. A visit to the ladies room was equally disappointing. The painted plywood partitions were rough and chipped. Defunct sliding bolt closures dangled on the doors. The current closure devices were hook and eye closures that have pulled out and replaced multiple times. The first stall I went in the toiled was clogged. Second one no paper. Third one when I closed the door the off kilter door with hook and eye closure left about a inch gap. There are no paper towels only blowers which have their own problems and not very sanitary. It’s a shame. This has been a lovely restaurant and we’ve had great meals. But when paying for fine dining I think torn benches and restrooms as I found them to cause me to reconsider"

"Very nice hidden gem at the hotel on Olive. We came here for dinner around 5 PM and restaurant quickly got filled with the hotel guests and locals. I was pleasantly surprised with food flavors and quality. Me and my husband took 2 red sangrias, unfortunately they didn't had white sangrias. For starters we shared burrata salad and eggplant and both were very delicious. For main we shared paella and portion size was good and it was enough for both of us. Paella had a good texture and flavors were rich, however seafood was a bit dry (mussels and clams). Service was very good, chef came and talk to us as well as a restaurant manager and we shared our feedback. Overall we had a good experience here and as a downtown locals we will consider this restaurant when we want nice Mediterranean cuisine."
