"Festive and fun decor. Unfortunately the food was so so at best. The chips, salsa and guacamole were very good, but the meals were not. Re ordered a chicken quesadilla twice as it was filled with a chicly red sauce which is the way they make theirs and neither time could they get it right, which was surprising because you just need cheese and chicken. The shrimp quesadilla was not much better filled with the chunky red sauce and large rubbery shrimp. The Baja tacos had minuscule pieces of cod, and one of those pieces had a large bone bigger than the piece of fish. All kids ordered virgin strawberry daiquiris, and two out of three glasses had old toothpick pieces in them. Needless to say we won’t be back."

"Stopped by this awesome homey restaurant in a huge car rest stop near Exit 34 of CA 60 E Pomona Freeway and IT WAS FANTASTIC. I got a full rest refueled myself with yummy Italian dishes, while my car was parked in a tree shaded spot which there are many! This place serves really nice Italian cuisine with European pub vibes atmosphere inside (I LOVE THIS FEELING SINCE WALKING IN OMG) Lovely music, partitioned seatings, dim lighting, great food smell, wine shelf, vintage restroom, etc.. Here are the cheat sheet if you are blank of what to order: ? starter cheesy garlic bread: perfect seasoning, crispy thin crust ? main low cal salmon: juicy tender salmon with nicely grilled veggies chicken masala: my favorite pasta OMG lasagna: soft properly cooked cheesy ? side (comes with main) Julie's wedding soup: delicious soup with a lot of ingredients salad (ranch, Italian dressing): fresh mix of your favorites ? drink Italian soda: carbonated creamy very yummm The staff here are all really nice and made me feel at home. This is a very impressive unique feeling to experience at a restaurant.. I'm sure you'll be blessed with food and love here!!"

"The ambiance, both indoors and outdoors, is stunning. The drink selection is excellent—I sampled several wines from their menu, and each one was delightful. For appetizers, our group ordered the salmon flatbread and deviled eggs topped with caviar, both of which were delicious. For our main courses, we had mac and cheese with chicken, spaghetti carbonara, and the fish of the day, and we enjoyed tasting each other’s dishes. They were all outstanding. Our server, Ryan, was fantastic and made the evening even better. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Utter junk. The service was non existent, the atmosphere the same, and the only reason we went in there was out of desperation. It did disappoint…The food was mediocre but the service appalling, and the lady who served us had BO. It was also very overpriced and working a lot in Italy, the food had zero to do with Italian. It was deep fried junk as regards the arancini, I am sure it was frozen previously. Out eight year old who is pretty sophisticated in the best European restaurants was given water in a childproof cup. Really?Avoid avoid avoid. It’s a cheap restaurant waiting to go out of business, and working in hospitality at a senior (continental MD) level, I do know what I’m talking about."

"I always liked to go here, always loved the food. I recently came to the phone with an rude young man because I tried to cancel my order and get a refund and he wouldn't allow it. It's 8:26p now if the food should be? was here at 7:45. But still I called at 7:45 to cancel the order and the young lady said The food was already on the way and asked what was my reason for the cancellation. I told her I don't need the food she answers to a young man. As if I was a child and repeated the word? after every word, as if I could not understand. He then explained the same thing the young lady did and said they already made the food and it on the way. I explained that since I did not receive it, I should receive a refund because I did not have the product, but he repeated himself in a humiliating way to mock me and say? Why would you order the food if you didn't want it or knew you couldn't accept it? That's not nice? How Bro are we kids? Who has the courage to say that? I explained that I cannot control whether something appears in my life, as things happen outside the peoples control. He says he's gonna spend a loan and leave him in a credit book? next time I come in?.as if I were back. If he is responsible, he has an immature, terrible, unnecessary attitude that I have never experienced in my life by someone working with customers. Customers also get under my skin and it can cause me to lose my temperament, but it is common to get a refund for a product that you do not receive. Now I'm at home at 8:30 and nothing yet. When I got the loan, it also meant that the food no longer comes, they didn't explain it and made it seem as it was already on the way that I would still get it or had to take it. And yes, I was hanging on the young man because how incredibly rude he was"

"The pizza was delivered quickly and hot, and the crispy crust was a nice touch. While the sauce was bland, it didn’t detract from the overall experience. Unfortunately, the cheese was a complete disaster; it weighed the pizza down like the Titanic. Even after letting it sit for a bit, the greasy cheese fell right off when I tried to pick up a slice. It was literally that bad. It makes my usual go-to spot, Giardinis, which is just decent when I need something quick, seem like a four-star restaurant in comparison!"

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"Authentic Italian cooking and presentation. Portions are very large. Food is flavorful, excellent blend of herbs and spices, not too salty or over spiced. Cooked perfectly, not over or under done. Quality ingredients no cost cutting short cuts. Soups were outstanding, rich, thick, creamy, flavorful. Only down side is the parking. When the place gets busy, parking is scarce. Arrive early with reservation and enjoy."

"Every time we have dined at Grissini's, we have thoroughly enjoyed the delicious food and excellent service provided by the waitstaff. On one occasion, we initially chose to dine outside but as the weather cooled down, the staff quickly accommodated our request to move indoors. They efficiently set up a cozy booth for us in the beautifully decorated dining room. We have a great appreciation for this restaurant, which may be hidden behind trees and not visible from Agoura Rd., but is worth seeking out for its inviting atmosphere and tasty meals."

"To say that I’m disappointed in the food, more so the salads, is an understatement! I miss the old Crispingas when Joe owned it and the food was delicious! I got a spinach salad with 1 hard boiled egg, 1 cherry tomatoes (tomatoes don’t go on spinach salads) and some croutons, no red onion or anything else that goes with this salad. My daughter got a garden salad that had lettuce and 1 cherry tomato, no cucumbers or carrots or anything! The dinners were good and hot but the salads were sub-par! There were like 5 items to choose from instead of the full menu, I know restaurants are lacking workers but quality should still be number 1! This is now twice I haven’t been exactly thrilled about my dinner from here"

"Great food! We ordered some basic entrées that were incredibly well-prepared. We had the spaghetti and meatballs as well as the fettuccine Alfredo with grilled chicken. For our appetizer, we enjoyed the mozzarella caprese. For dessert, we had the panna cotta. Anthony did an excellent job! Please consider paying the servers more than minimum wage. We've usually eaten before taking pictures, so don't blame Anthony for the poor presentation in the photos."

"This is a truly distinctive upscale local restaurant featuring a stunning interior and terrace dining, all under the skillful guidance of a talented chef. I enjoyed the Mignon scallops, while my companion had the grilled salmon salad. We both agreed that this restaurant surpasses any others we've visited. We'll definitely return soon. Our server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and she even made me a delicious peach tea that wasn't listed. We highly recommend this place!"

"We had requested the rounded corner booth in the main dining room and arrived 20 minutes early, planning to enjoy a cocktail at the bar. But instead, we were seated at a booth right next to our preferred one. A couple finished their meal shortly after we sat down, well before our 6:30 reservation. We ordered a Beefeater gin and tonic and a very dry Beefeater martini. Both drinks had an unusual, perfume-like scent that was quite off-putting. My wife sent her drink back, and I decided to switch to a Bombay martini, but the same strange floral fragrance persisted. I regularly enjoy Beefeater and Bombay dry martinis and have never experienced this odd aftertaste before. For my main course, the Duck and Porcini confit ragu had hardly any duck in it. There were only a few shreds of duck meat hidden in the tagliatelle, but no substantial pieces. My wife’s Pesto and Shrimp dish arrived swimming in a broth. While this might be a traditional way to serve it, there was no mention of broth on the menu. She had expected the pesto to be coated on the pasta and oily, rather than soupy. As much as we have loved Capriccio over the past three decades, this experience was disappointing. We didn't even stay for dessert. We'll certainly return, but I hope to avoid writing another negative review. I usually don’t share my thoughts unless absolutely necessary, but I felt compelled to do so this time."

"Horrible experience!!! The waiter did not acknowledge us for at least 30 mins we had to approach him. My over medium eggs we hard and so rubbery I had a difficult time cutting them, I ordered prosciutto and got bacon, I was told they were out of prosciutto, but yet it was still offered to other guests. I would have sent it back but was afraid of how long it would take. The waiter told me when he gave me the check that the coffee was free because he didn’t want to risk his tip!! It was an awful experience and will not be back!"

"This was our first visit to La Casa Pasta, and I must say, the exterior doesn't do the interior justice—it’s quite charming inside! I loved the cozy little rooms and the different atmospheres, plus they even have outdoor seating. We arrived early at 6:30 PM, so it wasn’t too crowded yet, especially since it was parents' weekend, but by the time we left, the restaurant was bustling with larger groups and the noise level had definitely increased. Our server, Katy, was extremely attentive; she frequently refilled our water glasses and made sure we were satisfied with our meals. We ordered the fried calamari (with small rings and bodies), the Fusilli Santa Maria, and the chicken piccata, all made with fresh pasta. I can't wait to come back and try more items from the menu. And definitely don’t skip the tiramisu—you won’t be disappointed!"

"Date Night ASA Restaurant has two locations in the Bay Area and their Los Gatos location earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand recognition This was my first dining experience at their more north location in downtown Los Altos With high ceilings and heart themed adorned menus, this was a perfect spot for a Valentine’s week dining experience The menu here is slightly different from the Los Gatos location and I’ve heard that the two locations may not be as closely affiliated when they first opened I loved the appetizers and particular loved the anchovy bread with two different anchovy types topped on crisp, warm bread. The Dungeness crab appetizer was also excellent For entrees, I opted for ASA’s signature exotic mushroom pasta that is on both the Los Gatos and Los Altos menu As a fungi fan, I absolutely love this dish and it’s one of the best pasta dishes in the South Bay and Peninsula The only miss was their special of the day of striped bass over risotto. The purple yam purée was sour and the risotto dry with zero moisture or liquid and more like a cooked rice dish than a risotto ASA is a fantastic destination for the Bay Area and while the prices are elevated, they reflect elevated cuisine (and high ceilings) Smoked and Stoned $16 Anchovy Bread $16 Dungeness Crab Toast $36 Special Striped Bass over Risotto ASA’s Exotic Mushroom Pasta $34 ASA Restaurant (Los Altos, CA) Reservations are recommended on Opentable and dining is indoor only. Credit cards including AmEx are accepted."

"Never will I ever go to the Olive Garden on Hurstbourne Road again. We all are African American who went there to celebrate the January birthdays in our family. Myself and my cousin had never eaten at the Olive Garden. We sat there for almost an hour and never was served. Even after people who came in after us was served and eating. After speaking with the manager, we were still ignored. So we politely got up and walked out. The hostess tried to help as we were leaving but at that point we were just annoyed. We left there and went to Cattlemen’s and received the best service ever. The food was delicious and tasted amazing."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and were seated straight away. As the Burmese restaurant is in the area, we really looked forward to this experience. While we were in no hurry the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they urged to have a meal order at the same time. We wait to order the food until the drinks have been brought to us. We ordered the Burmese beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (fish noodle soup). The sauces on the meat stews were good, but not spectacular! The stew was definitely not tender. If you like tough meat then these dishes are for you. In addition, the Moh Hin Ga lacked taste and in the words of my colleagues: "I would not order it again". Also soft drinks and iced tea and refilled for free. Given the rush and subpar experience, won't be returning. Given their great Yelp reviews, it seems like there are plenty of customers out there who like it. Maybe we only visited them on a bad day or the normal cook wasn't around that day ..."
