"I assume the food was good but I did not eat there. Had to answer to complete the survey. The food looked good on the 3 tables of patrons eating there on a Wednesday night at 7:15 pm in Doral FL. Weather was great for outdoor dining, low humidity after an afternoon rain and high 70s to low 80’s. My soulmate and U were excited to try a different Italian restaurant in Doral other than our favorite Divieto’s were willing to pass on the free outdoor music on this beautiful cool night. As we drove past Divieto’s the parking lot was full and the outdoor dining looked full to the maximum at 6:45 so we were relieved. But to our disappointment, after driving and paying for parking 15 minutes down the street, we arrived early to a empty restaurant. Our confirmed request for outdoor dining was completed ignored and we were told we could only sit in the indoor dining room or nothing. I looked at the “outdoor dining” portion of the restaurant to see what it looked like and make sure the useless idiot who greater us was indeed a knowledgeable host not a busboy there was no table even set up. That was very, very insulting after an e mail confirming a romantic table for two for outdoor dinning at a “famous” and the best Italian restaurant in Doral. Thus place will be out if business before the 2023 2024 ends. Even with the fictitious description of the restaurant. Glad we promptly left and went back to our usual Italian restaurant we were seated in 10 minutes on a extremely busy night outdoor dining with live music no bul sh t !!!"

"The location is beautiful, decor is interesting and attractive, but when it came to food and service, we were greatly disappointed: We came there to try out their grilled octopus but after a very long delay we?re informed that the last octopuswas served to our guests who ordered it first, which was a huge disappointment for everyone who didn?t get their dessert foodand should have been embarrassing for the restaurant because they don?t really have a big variety of seafood. So, we had toorder next favorite thing from the menu which was a difficult thing to do because of insanely high prices and limited selection.So we opted for lobster/shrimp ravioli which did not look any appetizing upon arrival and it seemed like they were filled withseafood flavored mashed potatoes. We also went out on a limb and ordered Chilean sea bass pictured) which was raw inside, wasdrenched in a horrible creamy sauce and floated in a bed of overcooked risotto and some vegetables dumped on top. It looked farfrom appetizing. I know we should?ve said something, but didn?t want to spoil a beautiful Mother?s Day celebration. So I amwriting this review to share my experience because it?s very rare that I am that unhappy with a place and I wouldn?t want anymore people making the mistake of going to osterea capri. The management should?ve offered some kind of discount for not havingenough food to accommodate us and compensate for the horrible experience. Never going back there again"

"wow! I and my friend came to my birthday dinner here and what a great experience it was! we usually don't like to eat in the south beach, but that was such a great sound! our waiter diego was amazing. the ambiente was perfect for an intimate dinner. that was delicious. the appetizer was great, especially the garnelen it was delicious. our pastas made in the house were amazing and the presentation of spaghetti made in a Parmesan cheese wheel is awesome to see! we ordered tiramisu to dessert and they put a candle for my birthday which was very nice of them. the owner also stopped at our table to say hello and ask how our meal was, what he was also very personal and I can see that he takes care of his restaurant a lot. he stopped at the table and talked to us, showed us the kind of family restaurant that is. this is a very cozy place and I cannot wait to come back and try other pastas and other items on the menu. definitely recommend!"

"The sausage and peppers appetizer was fantastic. While the entrees didn't quite have the robust flavors one might expect from a fine Italian restaurant, they were still better than most Italian options in Lexington. Unfortunately, my wife discovered a bug in her salad. The waiter did remove the salad from our bill, but given the caliber of this restaurant, the overall response to finding a live bug in our food was disappointing. No manager came to address the issue, and the reaction felt very understated and lacking."

"The service was top notch, our server Phillip was very well versed in the menu, he knew the daily specials like he created them himself. He’s my favorite server there, always polite and makes the overall experience better than it could be. The food was excellent as always. "We went there on a recommendation from our friend Tim Bluntson who was singing. The food was great I had the pear pasta and my husband had the salmon and we had the banana cream pie which was incredible. The waiter was very attentive and music was great. The only feedback that I have was that there didn’t seem to be much room in between tables so people kept bumping into our table and at some point the corner we were sitting in became uncomfortably warm."

"Came here for dinner with my mom. First note, there are no real bargains on the wine list--all wines were $10+ for pretty humdrum stuff. We were seated quickly, the restaurant was nice and quiet, and the food was decent. This is going to sound more negative than I really want it to, but this place is totally fine--if you are in from out of town and want a low-key nice serviceable meal (which is exactly what you are looking for sometimes!! , then this is a good pick, but it's not really anything super special. I do think that overall everything on the menu is priced a little too high."

"The service at this restaurant was exceptional. Jamie and her partner were attentive, efficient, and very accommodating, making our dining experience perfect. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees, all of which were delicious. "Revised to add: the restaurant owner reached out to me and apologized and sent me a gift card to more than cover the cost of my meal that he said should have been comped in the first place. I will try them again since I’ve been here in the past and haven’t had this type of service before. I was very disappointed with our latest experience at this restaurant. I found a hair in my food and the waitress just took my plate and went have another made for me. She did apologize but that's all that was offered to make it right. I wasn't offered any kind of discount on my meal or any compensation for my inconvenience. Then, after having to wait for my food to be remade the waitress came to the table and asked about dessert while I was just starting on my meal. I asked to wait until I finished my meal and she said she couldn't because we had the table for too long and there was another reservation coming in behind us even though the room we were in was almost empty except for one other table who had arrived not long after us and wasn't trying to be rushed out of the restaurant. We were charged down the the parmesan cheese we sprinkled on our bread and food and I couldn't even be given time to eat the food that had to be remade because of their mistake of getting HAIR in it. Absolutely disgusted and will not be bringing my employees there for our Christmas dinner next year or any other occasions."

"We have dined here occasionally since they opened a couple of years ago. After a few quirks in the menu and service to start with, they have really come into their own now! The service is great, with a friendly greeting at the door. At the table knowledgeable staff can be helpful (if needed with the menu and specials from the kitchen (sometimes from the Chef's mother or grandmother's recipes! . We have tried many/most of the items on the menu and have some favorites that are always delicious! What I always look forward to are their specials on the menu or, the new seasonal items. I loved the shrimp Louie? Louis? salad (haven't seen that on a menu in ages , the Lasagna! the meat loaf! the Leg of Lamb ragout! and the octopus appetizer was an outstanding mix of flavors from the sea and old world kitchen!"

"Always very tasteful, authentic Italian. The staff is very attentive, but not overbearing. The owner is incredibly friendly and will always check to make sure you had a good time. Definitely a higher class restaurant for Houma, and I recommend everybody try it. It can be pricey, so we usually save it for a special occasion. You get what you pay for!"
