Lupa is the best authentic Roman Italian restaurant in the city. Stefano, the owner is great. The food is fantastic. Start with the scamorza or the mussels and clams. For an entre, the galleto can't be beat. And don't forget dessert!

Great neighborhood Italian restaurant. Curtain inside the door blocks breeze that annoys in many SF restaurants. Food fresh and homemade. Great pasta and sauces. Grilled calamari and mussel and clam appetizers are spectacular. Save room for the flourless chocolate cake which is made in-house and best I have had. Easy street parking.

Ambience was perfect- we could have sat at the table for hours and been comfortable the whole time. This is the place to go for great food served in a very comfortable setting.
