"We started with appetizers, sharing the Grilled Octopus and the Cold Spread Sampler, both of which were delicious. The Skordalia was packed with garlic, and I couldn't resist slathering it on my bread.
For our entrees, we each chose something different. My husband enjoyed the Moussaka, while the Kalamata Dinner, which features a combination of five dishes, offered a delightful variety, leaving us with leftovers for lunch the next day. The Gyro plate was a hit, too; my companion devoured it without sharing any.
I was particularly impressed by the Grilled Vegetable Shish-Kabob, which was beautifully presented, and the veggies were perfectly cooked and seasoned—definitely something I'll order next time since I love vegetables. The Chicken Shish-Kabob also looked impressive, and we took home leftovers from that as well. As for my Grilled Chicken Breast, it was a tad dry, which is typical for chicken breasts, but the rice topped with homemade tomato sauce was worth every carb, even for a diabetic like me.
We couldn't resist desserts either. The baklava was the best I've ever had, and we also tried the lemon bar, chocolate mousse cake, and Galaktoboureko (a custard-like dessert). We almost licked the plates clean!
Would I recommend Kalamata Kitchen? Absolutely, yes! We definitely plan to dine there again."
