"I was quite surprised by some of the reviews because I had an incredible sandwich there this past Thanksgiving weekend. We were in the area and stumbled upon the place while searching for lunch, and it was our first time visiting. I ordered the Le French Baguette, and I can confidently say it was the best sandwich I've had in over a year—perhaps even longer. I'm still thinking about it and might be becoming a bit obsessed! Everything tasted incredibly fresh: the bread, the ham, the generous slices of brie, the lettuce, and the tomato. Each ingredient complemented the others perfectly, and the Dijon mustard added just the right kick. Since it was made to order, it took about 10 minutes, but it was absolutely worth the wait. I enjoyed it about 15 minutes after picking it up, and there was no sogginess at all. The portion was generous, and the price was very reasonable. Although we live in Manhattan, I will definitely be making a trip back there. I'm looking forward to it and hope they can maintain their high standards!"

"I drove especially for these gardens of LA and was very happy that I did. I used to be, but that was a lot of years ago, so I didn't quite remember it almost as good as I wanted. It's pretty small about the size of a neighborhood block, but it's really nice and something worth seeing. It is very well organized and well maintained and you really get to see a great variety of plants. Parking is easy and provided on site, but it is not difficult to find street parking. The only drawback is that you are competing with the masses sometimes for the image you want, as it quite crowded on certain days. Otherwise, the parking is simple and the price is fair, so I recommend for everyone. This botanical garden also has no hills, so it would be easier for people with mobility problems to see some of the other bigger ones."

"Last week, my boyfriend and I went to this restaurant to have dinner, but we were not treated well at all. When we arrived, the restaurant was very crowded, and fortunately, we found a suitable place to sit. We waited for 40 minutes to place our order, and I am not exaggerating. Moreover, there were two people who arrived after us and sat just behind us; their food was served, and the staff checked on them a couple of times to see if they needed anything, but no one came to us. My boyfriend went to call a waiter, but even then, they didn't come. As my blood sugar dropped, I went to ask again, and only then did they take our order, but the waiter's sarcastic and racist attitude was unacceptable. Furthermore, they overcharged us! The behavior towards us was racist and disrespectful, so I do not recommend this place!"

"I went to the restaurant late on a Friday night and it wasn't crowded. The decor was lovely, but the service was just okay and not very attentive given the price. The food was good, but not exceptional. The duck was a bit too salty for my taste. Despite these small issues, I would be willing to give it another try."

"While this place may not be the be all end all of French restaurants in DC, it will give you the experience. Vintage wine posters? Check. Escargots? Check. Baguette? You bet! Get some snails with moule frites or coq au vin and finish it off with a digestif and crème brulee. My particular favorite here is the steak tartare. The service is great even for the very tiny space the restaurant occupies. The prices won't guillotine your wallet either."

"I was craving a Cuban sandwich for weeks. I recently moved into the neighborhood from West New York so my go to restaurant for Cuban sandwiches was just a bit too far from my house and I wanted something that was walking distance from where I currentlylive. I decided to try this restaurant out because I saw it had really good reviews and it was also a hotspot for Cubansandwiches, which was one of their featured items on their menu. I went in with no expectations and lots of curiosity. When Ipicked up my Cuban sandwich it just looks so beautiful! It was nicely wrapped in a bag, HUGE and it was made like someone from abakery build it just for me! This sandwich was so delicious so flavorful and so decadent. I?m not sure what type of Italianbread that was used but, it was just perfect. The sandwich was so delicious. I ate half of it walking in the street. Thesandwich lasted me throughout the rest of the day and it was very filling. The pork, ham, cheese, bread is all nicely seasonedand the entire sandwich was made with nothing but love. I will definitely be coming back here again. If you are in the mood fora really tasty Cuban sandwich, definitely visit Centro Latino II. Sorry the picture does no justice.
