"We encountered a brewmaster’s dinner at a fixed price. The menu sounded interesting, and it was, more so than the actual 5 courses. The wait staff, brew master and chef were friendly likable stewards for the evening. The paired beer tastes from Fruition Brewery were interesting and complimentary with the courses. The courses started and ended on a high interesting gazpacho and passion fruit dessert , but the three courses in between tended to all taste the same…too dry, too much Dijon ? , too many pickled accessories. Some local fresh seasonal vegetables, maybe some fish or poultry would have been appreciated. At $125 per person tip, it was not a value, or particularly memorable enough to make me want to make another reservation soon."

"We dined at wine cellar at Harry Browne’s. You’re almost 100% guaranteed to get lost finding your way to cellar. You can be annoyed by that or find it to be yet another adventure as I did (even after being directed by the host at the front).Good wine selection (if you want a cocktail, you have to ask for that…you’re in a wine cellar).The staff was lovely, the food was decent (the crab dip was great!)Downside, the cellar is unsurprisingly an internet dead zone. That may be good for staying unplugged. But we did have a situation where someone at home couldn’t reach one of us for a fairly serious issue."

"I am writing this review and still in shock and unable to process what happen on last Friday night at our party. Everything was great, food, service, etc. All my friends had a great time until, I assume, it was the restaurant 's manager, came to one of our guests Mark and very rudely demanded that he paid $80 cover charge for drinking alcohol from the water bottle he brought with him. Mark NEVER drinks hard liquor only wine which is what he ordered that night as always. His wife wasn 't feeling well didn 't drink at all! The manager came to them directly, threw an empty water bottle on the table calming he has a video of Mark throwing this bottle in the trash outside of the restaurant!!! This video he showed us had NO image of Mark carrying a bottle in his hands! In any case, the manager 's rudeness, unprofessionalism in the way he handled the situation was outrages. He was yelling and screaming at us, telling us he will call the police. Even if he had a reason which he DID NOT! this situation could have been handled discretely. Instead, he escalated the situation to the point that Mark, his wife and most of our guests were in the verge of tears! All of my friends at the party came to America about 35 years ago, all have successful careers. We all speak Russian, but all immigrated from Ukraine. I don 't know if this person had something against us, but it sure felt like he made personal. We never felt so humiliated and discriminated like we did last night! I was the responsible for any additional charges/issues for the party and they confirmed that with me before the party started. We had multiple birthday parties at Bobby 's before and I was astonished how we were treated for just a pitiful amount of money $80 when we spent way over $1000 that night! Instead of having a great memory of this special evening of my husband 65th birthday all we will remember is the way we were treated and humiliated at the end. It 's a shame! We always enjoy Bobby 's, but after this incident none of us and anyone we know will dine in Bobby 's Deerfield again."

"I was a walk in order for take out. I ordered two heros. I was asked for a name for the order, and I paid. My receipt said 3:57pm. I sat in the booth 4ft from the take out counter. At 4:40pm I went up to the counter to discover that my order had been ready for quite some time. I asked why nobody said anything when it was hot and ready and the answer I got was, “We don’t do that here” my response…, then why did you ask my name and tell me to have a seat in the closest booth???I can’t honestly read the food because it was cold by the time we got it. The overall restaurant was very clean and the staff waiting on tables appeared to be very friendly with the other customers. However, I will never return to this establishment and I caution anyone who orders takeout to make sure it’s crystal clear that they know you’re waiting for your food, and that you are not a mind reader."

"service was excellent. the food was delicious, but the portions were ridiculously small for the price. we had one ate and one ate and were not satisfied after eating. the restaurant should serve brot as part of the meal, and the portions must be increased. because, how small the meal was, and the fact that we were still hungry after we spent $40 per person, we do not think that this restaurant is a good one, we do not recommend it, and we will not go back."

"I called before our reservation to ask if we can bring our own bottle wein. they told us that we could and that we would be accused of a corking charges that were expected. When we arrived with our bottle, we were told that they wouldn't open it because they sold it there. I'd understand if I called earlier, they would have said that, they set us up fast. eating was very good. the pasta in the wheel was my absolute favorite thing that I ate. we ordered a bottle of wine at the end, which was also good. there were only two stands in the lady room and one was ordered. the service was decent until we finished. we didn't tell them dessert and we wanted the bill and it took 35 minutes to get it. I asked the manager and it wasn't until I told the hostess that we would just go if we didn't get the bill that they finally let us pay. I would come back for the pasta wheel, but for the price of my meal I would expect a better one around the experience."

"Silas restaurant in Hotel Versailles completely exceeded my expectations. My daughter has an allium intolerance which makes eating out almost impossible but she contacted them about menu possibilities. We were able to celebrate her 30th birthday with an amazing meal. Our server, Angie, was so kind and took the time to check on other options. The chefs did all they could to provide her with a great meal. She is usually disappointed by the lack of care from other restaurants but not Silas. I haven't seen her so happy at a restaurant since her intolerance was diagnosed. The roasted Brussel sprouts were delicious and different, my side salad had chunks of pumpkin in it and I was so surprised I liked that since I'm not a pumpkin fan. The desserts were amazing too. I'm not a fan of carrot cake which my daughter got but I snuck a bite and couldn't believe how light and fluffy and perfect it was! Sourcing local ingredients is a plus and the ambiance of the restaurant is wonderful. I'd give them ten stars if I could. This place has heart."

"Beautiful restaurant! We ate outside to take advantage of the last bit of nice weather for the summer. We made reservations and were seated right away. Service was fast and everyone was friendly. The bread they brought out before the meal was so good! All the food was delicious, I love that they use spring mix in their house salad instead of romaine or iceberg! If I lived/worked closer I would pick up one fresh everyday for lunch! I ordered the filet and it was cooked perfectly. Desert was also really good. The old fashioned has loose ice added which I was not expecting because usually there is no ice or just a single large sphere but I will definitely return for another dinner!"

"Though the food might be good, the service was bad and the atmosphere was lackluster. For a place to have such high recommendations and reviews this place fell very short of expectations. I took my gf here for her birthday and was excited to take her here. Made the reservations and even selected birthday as the occasion. When we got to the restaurant our table hadn 't been cleaned off, nobody said happy birthday or even asked what the occasion was. The waitress was not polite and made it seem like we were an inconvenience for wanting to ask a question that may have taken 1 or 2 minutes of time. Now I understand that if a place can hold over 200 people is packed and you are rushing around, then yes I can understand being rushed, but this place holds maybe 25 people max at a given time. We also wanted to try something and asked the server her opinion and the server acted like it would be gross if we ordered it, that is distasteful and just made my gf upset. I even tried talking to the manager about the experience and just didn 't get anything in response and so we left hungry. I get this place might have good food but let 's be honest, you can find good food anywhere and especially in a place like st augustine. When you are spending $100 per person you are paying for the experience and are looking to enjoy yourself, this place falls way short of that. St augustine has many great restaurants and if you are actually looking for a nice place that you will enjoy then I urge you to look elsewhere."

"we ate here a few years ago and were very satisfied with our experience. that was our first time back and must say it wasn't as pleasant as our first time. some of the foods were overcooked, our waitress hardly visited the table / tested on our drinks and for the amount we paid to dinate in this facility, it was certainly not worth what we paid! but my man said whoever made his cocktail drink has made a phenomenal job. the atmosphere was nice, but the lighting always changed from dim to brighter and vice versa. there was also live entertainment that was beautiful. I will say that I am now recommended and hope that this was perhaps a night for the facility, but I am not sure that we will return personally."

"When we first arrived on the Big Island we were recommended to Huggo's. It was conveniently located next to our hotel. We were quickly seated when we arrived on a Wednesday night. They had a fantastic drink menu and I had to break my tradition to have one of their drinks of the day. It was very yummy! Our service was incredible and the food was also amazing. We sat down right at sunset and could be a very romantic dinner spot and a great place to have a wonderful meal with friends. I ordered the Huggo's Signature Teriyaki Steak which was cooked to perfection! As a land lover there are limited land lover options but you can't go wrong with the Teriyaki Steak! My friend ordered the Hook, Line and Sinker which he thoroughly enjoyed. Not only did we enjoy Huggo's we also enjoyed their other two locations! Check them out and support the local business!"

"I have been coming here for over 20 years, as I own a time share at the Marriott. The food choices are not the same as Pre Covid. Fresh fish and shellfish should be abundant! The salt and pepper shrimp was bland. The gourmet style prep is not necessary, as I preferred the more casual menu . What happened to the macadamia nut crusted fish that was so good? The prices are ridiculous for the portions and there should be more choices. We also went down to breakfast at 10:15 am, and they close at 10. For a resort this size, should be open all day."

"I live around the corner from The Ritz so Burlock Coast is convenient. I hold many business and personal meetings over lunch or dinner. The service is outstanding and their attention to detail has gifted me many memorable times. "It had the potential for a nice night. Reservation for 7 PM. We arrived an hour early for drinks at the bar before sitting in the dining room. Bar service was excellent. When they sat us, they sat us at a bar booth. It seems they sold out the dining room on Friday night! So no ambiance: we went from the bar to the bar. Not the reservation I made. We should have been told. No one knew the oyster selection. We asked for a briny and received an earthy oyster. We ordered the marrow which was very good. For the main, I had the ribeye and my wife have the Himalayan salt block filet. The sat block was salty and the filet quality though meager. They brought the ribeye blue though I ordered med rare; luckily, I prefer prime beef blue. Unfortunately it was the strip end of the rib loin. It had tough tendons throughout it that could not be cut. The server was fine. We will give the restaurant one more try, but it did not meet our expectations."
