"I really wanted to enjoy this restaurant, but it fell short on several levels. Although the staff was polite, they seemed a bit lost—having to ask for silverware, dealing with incredibly slow service, and receiving incomplete orders. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. The fish ceviche was so filled with sinews that I couldn't eat it and had to spit it out, yet the server didn't even notice. The seafood stew was passable, but the seafood paella was undercooked with crunchy rice. The pisco sour tasted more like fruit juice, and when we inquired about the empanadas they had forgotten to bring, we regretted it; they were tasteless, had very little filling, and seemed to have been microwaved. While I could overlook these issues at a more affordable mom-and-pop restaurant, we ended up paying $140 for essentially two courses and one drink for two people, and the food was quite disappointing. I truly wish there was a quality Peruvian restaurant in Saratoga, but unfortunately, this isn't it. Save your money and go somewhere else."
