"Made a reservation several days in advance; every time slot was open, so figured it would be crowded. When we arrived it was maybe 1/4 full? They seated us at a high table in the bar. We have it a shot, but just wasn’t comfortable so I went to the hostess and said we’d really prefer the dining room. They said nothing was available, and moved us to a low table in the bar. Better, but not great. Cocktails were good. Food was forgettable. Started with the Causa, a ceviche and the pulpo. The causa was ice cold (as was its plate) clearly made in advance and pulled from a fridge. At least let it rest and come up in temperature perhaps? Very plain; I’ve had better potato salad at a picnic to be honest. Ceviche was okay. Pulpo tasted fine but the presentation wasn’t appetizing. We’re just starting our appetizers and the entrees arrive. Really? Now they’ll be as cold as our appetizers by the time we get to them. Place was getting crowded and new arrivals were holding the door wide open. Everyone on our end of the room was putting on jackets but none of the staff seemed to care. Couldn’t wait to wrap it up and get out of there. Took a while to get the check, but finally left and found someplace warm and inviting to have another cocktail Won’t be back."

I would come back for the service alone. Very welcoming! The food was pretty solid as well. I had the aji de gallina and the flan for dessert.

Food was good. The only issue was that they were understaffed on one of the most busiest day out of the year. Server Raul did an excellent job to make sure we had a good service. We had no bad experience, but just seeing how overwhelming the workers looked and seeing everyone angry because of how busy it was it brought our mood down. Overall the whole thing was ok

Dined there with a couple of friends to pre celebrate Valentine day and avoid crowd and fixed not so good menu as it usually is the case. Ha been there before for dinner. Relaxing, casual ambiance. Peruvian dishes were very good and not overly spiced . I had the paella which was excellent (Kurmi paella , everyone had different dishes and all were very satisfied. Service was fine. No crowd so noise level perfect . Different cuisine, very tasty . Would go back again. View menu

The night was very enjoyable! Nice location in Saratoga to share a meal with my GF. Good ambiance, nice layout, appropriate level of noise, and staff was attentive. The ceviche is outstanding!!! The entree options were varied enough to provide selection based on pallet preference. The orange sauce on my GF's mahi mahi entree was amazing! A little pricey, but I'm assuming that was influenced more by location than what the menu is? Flavor profile of dishes was subtle, but to be expected for south american food. I would definitely recommend to family and friends. Thanks

When we arrived for our 8PM reservation, there were at least 5 parties ahead of us with reservations as early as 7:30 still waiting. There was complete confusion at the reception. Everyone was standing in the small space in front of the desk, waiting. People spilled out the door. The hostess was completely overwhelmed. No one else from the restaurant helped her. We guests took it upon ourselves to create a list for her, which she ended up using. We got seated about 30 minutes late. It took forever for our order to be taken, with minimal wait service. We didn 't even get water or menus for at least another 10 minutes. The restaurant did nothing except say sorry to make up the experience. Thou...

"They recently changed their hours, so now they only stay open until 8 PM. This is quite strange, especially since it's summer, the movie theater in El Paseo is much busier following the closure of the AMC theater in Vallco, and it’s not even dark yet at that time. I really think they’re missing out on a lot of potential business. Additionally, they've added a code to the bathroom door, which makes me wonder if they were having issues with non-customers using it previously. It’s hard to say. What I do know is that during my brief visit, everyone who was given the code had difficulty opening the door because it included a special character at the end of a long string of numbers that nobody could remember. On a brighter note, they serve delicious coffee and pastries, and the staff is both knowledgeable and friendly. The strawberry pop tart had a lovely pastry crust that seemed to have been brushed with egg white to give it a nice sheen. The filling tasted *exactly* like Smucker's strawberry jelly… In fact, I suspect it might have actually been Smucker's! Whether that’s a good or bad thing is up to personal taste. However, I found it odd that while they offer several unusual ingredients for unique drinks, like turmeric and ginger for golden drinks, their selection of more standard flavored syrups is extremely limited. There’s no raspberry, no strawberry, and no other berry flavors—just chocolate, honey, coconut, and of course, turmeric. Their golden drinks have more of a winter flavor profile anyway, which is probably why they’re not currently on the menu. They have no specials at the moment (though they mentioned they can still make the turmeric drinks), zero fruit flavors, and a very limited selection of syrups. Come on, guys! Don’t rest on your laurels. What are you doing to stay competitive? Be sure to grab your turmeric latte before 8 PM!"

"Just enjoyed a very lovely anniversary dinner here, and while it was a lovely experience, it felt like it missed the mark on the few of their servings. First and foremost, the service was great and the staff very attentive, especially our gentleman busser who kept a very keen eye on our needs. The restaurant is decorated beautifully and felt very light even in the evening. We started with the Prawn Cigars which were delicious and the highlight of the night. The wasabi sauce was simply delightful.Next we had the beef marrow, which I was so looking forward to. Unfortunately, the garlic bread ciabatta it was served with was extremely heavy on the butter resulting in a fat on fat experience, which didn't leave us feeling too great. Non-buttered bread and a dash of citrus would have made it great. For the mains we had the scallops and the fillet steak. I found the scallops to be fine but my husband found the polenta to be too heavy. The steak was cooked to PERFECTION and while the dish has a lot of components, it all went together beautifully, though I will say the truffle aspect of the mashed potatoes was lost amongst all the other flavors. The goat cheese on the steak as well was inspired. For dessert, my husband had the sorbet, which was tasty but hard set in molds and then hard to cut through when eating. I had the deconstructed apple pie, which was tasty in most bites but was kind of ruined by the homage to baklava it was attempting. Specifically, the addition of honey in the sugar work and caramel, which came out slightly burnt tasting. Would have been better if they had (1) heated up the heavy whipping cream, mixed in the honey, and then chilled and whipped, or (2) done a honey glazed walnut and blitzed it down."
