"A bit turned off. This is my neighborhood sushi spot and I usually choose it over Sushi Sake and a few others primarily because it?s open until 11 pm plus I like their house soup. Last night, I rolled up at 10:50 pm for my online order and all the lightswere off, doors locked. Basically closed. I got out my car to investigate and someone was coming to the door to unlock it toleave for their Uber that just pulled up and they?re like ?we?re closed?. I was like ?I made an online order???Luckily it wason the table. I was like ?I thought you guys closed at 11?? Another lady who was heading out said ?we?re closing earlytonight?. Not to mention, my food was trash. Spring rolls clearly just rushed and I had requested wasabi/ginger which weren?tin there. Had the employees not been rushing out the door I could?ve looked at my order and asked for it. I cannot riskordering online from this place if they?re going to just leave early. Had I been a few seconds late I would?ve basically beenoutta luck and who knows the hassle to get my money back not to mention have no dinner. I understand emergencies happen and youmay have to close a place early but shut off your online ordering. I will say my phone was dead so Idek if they tried tocall. I give 3 stars because prior to this it was a place I frequented but I will never return based on this experience. There?s too many other places in town to try."

"Firstly, this is one of the few restaurants I've been in that is actually immaculately clean and maintained. There were no surfaces aside from baseboards that showed even the faintest signs of wear. The wait staff is friendly, patient, and very knowledgeable about the food and where it's sourced from. Most, if not all, of the produce is locally sourced. We started with the Plata criolla and the empanadas. Both were really good, but the palta was stellar. Rarely are shrimp cooked this perfectly. My wife had the veggie plate and I had the churrasco. I felt that the veggie plate was about half the size it should have been, especially for the price, but everything on it was super tasty. The churrasco really shined here it seemed like a flank steak or something similar, but was in no way tough and was cooked to perfection. I enjoyed the different textures and flavors of the various potato cultivars that were served with the steak there is a much greater difference than you would think. My only complaint about the steak was that it should have had double the chimichurri on it, at least. The steak flavor was so bold you could barely even taste the chimichurri, which is usually a pretty bold flavor. We ordered the picarones and lucuma sundae for dessert, and both were really good. The doughnuts were just a tad overcooked, but otherwise tasty, and the syrup was delicious with a faint savory note to it. The dulce de leche combined with the lucuma ice cream was simply divine."
