"This restaurant on Roosevelt Island is absolutely fantastic! The food is outstanding! I especially enjoyed the pizzas I've tasted, but my favorite has to be the lamb gyro, which you can see in the photo. The menu features a delightful variety of options, and they have a great selection of wine, craft beers, and ciders. The lovely patio lets guests take in views of the East River and the park right across the street. Whether you opt for indoor or outdoor seating, it's the perfect place to enjoy a meal and relax. "It?s been a while since I last visited this lucky 7 probably before Covid first hit. After walking in I was greeted by the clerk which was nice and I noticed the store itself was under stocked and almost all the drink machines weren?t working. I ordered a half American hoagie and I believe it came out to $8. I waited out front of the deli counter for a few minutes and noticed there wasn?t anybody there. I thought oh well if it comes to it I?ll ask the clerk what?s going on with it. Right after I had that thought someone walked out from the back and asked if I had an order and I said yeah for an American hoagie. They washed their hands right away and got right to making my sandwich and it was done in a minute. The size in my opinion is probably a normal persons whole size so for the price it was very good. The hoagie itself was good nothing crazy, but I definitely enjoyed it. It was very sad to see this place look like it had no life when before Covid when I used to go here all the shelves were stocked and I?m pretty sure there was more workers too. Nonetheless I definitely recommend giving this place a shot especially since the pricing is always great."

"it's not too busy and it's quiet, so I like to come here. that doesn't take long to get out. it is a very clean place. I'm going there alone and I like to have one standing for me. they have all the Pho-condiments I expect. they start at $12.99 higher, depending on what meat(s) they want in it. they have the right garnishes and they were fresh. I think two more kalk wedges instead of one would be better. I also tried the banh mi. the sandwiches have all the right components. I like meat and head cheese in it. the brot is good, but not the best I had and could he greater. the aromen are all here."

"Called to place an order for delivery at 5:07 pm and the order never arrived until 6:43 pm! After calling twice to see where the driver was, they said they didn’t know.. when the food finally arrived the delivery driver drove away and was sight seeing!!! The food was good, not the best. The staff was irresponsible by not even calling us to let us know they were lost which we would have been more than happy to help assist with directions. Not a great first ever experience with Johnny Jr’s Pizzeria!"

"Ordered door dash from Kings on 2/26 and we're so ecstatic we did! Awesome meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Very fresh perfectly cooked broccoli. My girlfriend had cod that was a huge piece perfectly cooked and fresh. My son had amazing chicken tenders and a generous portion of milk and apple sauce. He was very happy to say the least. I'm definitely going to be ordering several times per month and anxious to try other menu items. Thank you for the awesome experience"

"I searched google for gluten free and found this place. 0 stars Starting with the parking lot signage is confusing as it used to be a fast food restaurant with a drive thru.But we were starving Husband had very dry biscuits (days old or out of a freezer bag) and gravy was definitely out of can. Gravy covered the hash browns it came with too so the plate looked like slop. Not very appetizing.I’m GF so I asked what was available they have bread. I ordered the breakfast sandwich at 17.99 plus $2 for gluten free bread. It came with potatoes that were not GF and had the texture of frozen then deep fried potatoes. Coated with MSG… which has gluten. The bacon on my sandwich was paper thin and microwaved and probably had Gluten in it too.Service was less that great if someone orders gluten free ask is it’s a preference or an allergy. Know your products and don’t serve them Gluten. Thankfully it’s not an allergy for me.The bathroom was smelled like portable bathroom.Basically extremely overpriced fast food at sit down restaurant prices. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free"

"BJHistory:I went to a BJ’s in California and it was “ok”. The burger was tasteless and bland. It left a bad taste in my mouth and I was turned away! Really!Then corporate contacted me and offered me a second try. I was very hesitant and turned off. After a few months, I decided to give BJ’s one last try. This would be it. All or nothing. If they failed again, I would never return. I’m a good restaurant eater and a good tipper.Today:Wow! I finally got to try their Prime Rib! I had my usual medium rare! Wow. Excellent! Juicy and cooked to perfection. Seriously. I was impressed. All the fat melted in my mouth. This really was good. The au jus was delicious and complimented the prime rib perfectly. When cooked for a long time, it should be soft like butter and it should melt in your mouth. This prime rib was a major HIT. Wow. Don’t miss this.I will definitely be back for more Prime Rib. "decided to try this place out on doordash for the first time and let me just say the food was a complete soggy, cold, nasty disappointment. my wife and i ordered the capri paninis and alfredo pasta. her panini was literally just chicken and it was dry and flavorless missing all of the ingredients. mine had chicken and mushrooms and cheese, still missing the basil and fresh mozzarella. i didn’t even eat mine. waste of money. the fries were freezing cold and soggy. we also asked for a side of dressing but that wasn’t given. the pasta was the only thing tolerable but again it was cold and lacked any flavor. overall pretty nasty. also no utensils. won’t be eating here again."
