"I reserved a table hours in advance. When i got there they said they were going to clean a table for us and it would be a short wait. There was another group of waiting to be seated as well. They got a table first with no reservation. We ended up waiting for another hour to get a table. It was my birthday, im upset. If i didnt have gift cards I wouldve left and gone somewhere else. Terrible service, we waited minutes for our waitress to come over to our table and take our order for our drinks. Our food took an hour and was cold when it came out. She also messed up the check and gave herself an extra tip"

"We absolutely loved the Guajillo Chicken Nachos - they were full of rich flavors and definitely not bland! The Bavarian Style Pretzels were a must-try as well, with the dough truly tasting like a pretzel, not just bread shaped like one. "First time going to this store. Ordered a lamb gyro and a 5 pc. Chicken. Unfortunately the gyro fell out of the bag on to the side walk before even reaching the bakery. Immediately went back in with the gyro and my credit card in hand was going to order another one. When the employee said I can 't do nothing This made me decide to not order another gyro. I left the gyro on the counter. Unfortunately the chicken was delicious. But I will not patronize this business."

"Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Great spot to grab a drink in Davis with a fun speakeasy ish vibe. Most recent experience I came here with a friend on a Saturday night without a reservation and it was crowded but were lucky enough to be seated at a small table immediately (id recommend making a reservation though). Our server was killing it, he was so friendly, attentive, gave great recommendations, and was enthusiastic when answering our questions. The drink selection is very nice, but the dessert we had was amazing. I had never ordered food here before, let alone dessert, and i wish I had known how great it was years ago! I cannot recommend the toffee pudding enough!! Can't wait to return soon."

"Brunch was great! We did the bubbles brunch and for 2hrs with the tasting and champagne it’s really a great deal. You get to taste everything in all four categories and then reorder what you really like. We really liked the challah toast, potatoes and eggs, fruit options, and the chicken meatballs. It also seems like they swap some things out here and there. The only thing we didn’t really like were the chairs, they weren’t the most comfortable overall."

"The food was delicious, I’d go back to eat again, BUT LET ME TELL YOU. I WAS. STUFFED, and now originally I never eat all my food, I even stole half of my mom’s burger. But one thing that bothered me was all the noise. Now I’m a very introverted person, and I’m very shy and if there is too much noise I will quiver in anxiety, but I was mostly talking to my sister and mom. But over all it was Delicious! I just wasn’t a big fan of the noise, (mostly also because I’m pretty sure I have autism) but I get really hyper sensitive about a ton of noise. But I loved watching the horses race on tv."

"Celebrated my husband’s birthday by having a wonderful dinner here., We ordered 2 drinks named Aviation We loved it, ordered the Rockefeller oysters, it was so yummy and gooey with the perfect amount of cheese over it with a lovely purée spinach. For entrée I took the calamari steak , it was cooked with perfection and had great crust that came with 2 potato wedges and grilled vegetables,and my husband took cioppino accompanied with 2 garlic slices of bread. "As my husband was eating, he noticed an off taste and then discovered that it was burned on the bottom. We only ordered from this place because my husband used to enjoy Chubby's food, but that's no longer the case. For anyone considering ordering from here, I recommend dining in instead of opting for delivery. The wait is too long, and you'll likely receive cold food, but when you're hungry, you'll end up eating it anyway. If I could give a negative rating, I definitely would. It would be helpful if we could attach pictures to our reviews so you could see the issues we encountered, as I have photos of the food to share."

I lost my wallet and went to the shop to ask if anyone had found it. The guy at the front immediately dismissed me, saying, “There wasn’t any wallet,” without even asking the other staff. When I told him to check with the others, he refused and seemed more interested in getting me out of the shop as quickly as possible. "I had the pleasure of eating at Jezif Fried Chicken and Pizza Halal the past Sunday 7/9/23. My son ordered the chicken tenders and fries with a drink that was reasonably priced. He said the fries were the best he had ever had! I ordered the lamb gyro platter and the taste was out of this world. Highly recommend. Does take a few extra minutes to prepare. We were both impressed that our coke and sprite were imported from Canada. The reason that I mention this is the taste is different, no high fructose corn syrup. The refreshing beverage sealed the deal. Staff are friendly and attentive. Merchant does accept cash and credit cards. Location is easy on off from Jersey turnpike/95. I had the pleasure of dining at Jezif Fried Chicken and Pizza Halal last Sunday 9/7/23. My son ordered chicken and fries with a drink at a reasonable price. He said the fries were the best he had ever had! I ordered the lamb gyro dish and the taste was out of this world. Highly recommended. It takes a few extra minutes to prepare. "We arrived at 1:20PM on a Monday. It took 10 mins to get seated. Then another 30 to get out order taken. The highlight of the entire experience was the starter we got. It was chips and shrimp with an aioli dip. We ordered the pasta as an entree and the shrimp sliders. It took an hour for us to get this. The pasta tasted like canned pasta or like the pasta itself had been boiled in hotel room tap water. Disgusting. We even tried to masking the taste by asking for the dip that cake with the starters to mix into the pasta. Again, we did this because we had waited so long and were so hungry. It was absolutely horrible. Who can’t make a simple bolognese? The shrimp fritters had a pungent fish smell. My friend couldn’t even finish one slider. We asked to speak to the manager and explained our concerns to him and he apologised and took the entrees off the bill. What’s crazy is that he did not seem surprised- this is very telling because it goes to show that they know their food is trash. They took the food away and we sat for another 40 mins waiting for them to bring the bill. We were only able to leave at 3:30PM. There is no excuse for why everything took so long. This is the worst service I have received at any restaurant. Will definitely not be returning and would suggest you do not even give them a chance. Waste of time and money."

"The customer isn't important at BWW. We walked in and waited in a line of another customer also waiting for a hostess. There is a hostess stand at the front door. No hostess. After mins a hostess came to help, but she could only do one thing at a time. It would have been efficient to check the customer in and then check my party in. The hostess checked customer in and then left to do another task. The store manager came over, but instead of helping, she rolled her eyes and lipped words of disappointment about the hostess' work ethic. The manager did not recognize the line to be seated, though there were to tables available for new customers. It's too loud in BWW as well. When I provided a certificate for credit with the waiter called the same manager over who stated she didn't do credits at this store. I told her I had received a certificate credit at this store in past, so it was possible to complete. I don't do those here. This shouldn't be the diners experience, so go somewhere else. Rude staff and inappropriate decisionmaking and very poor managers without reasonable experience with customer care and operations"
