"I first ordered a lasagna pizza and a side of garlic bread. Everything tasted great, but I did notice that the toppings tended to slide off since they were quite heavy. Additionally, the garlic bread had more of a butter flavor than a strong garlic taste. Overall, I would definitely order from here again. They also offer their own home delivery, which was very convenient since I paid in cash!"

"This was a really bad dining experience. We had five people at our table and not a single one of them enjoyed their meal. Multiple items on the one page menu were not actually available to order along with the specials for a 530 dinner reservation. My husband compared his veggie burger to eating a patty made out of fancy feast cat food. I am pretty sure he has never tasted cat food but I can imagine how bad it tasted to make that comparison. The first hint that this was not a good restaurant to eat at was that there were only other two tables eating on a Saturday night with multiple events going on downtown. Unfortunately because we had a larger party and had other reservations to get to early in the evening, we didn’t really have the time to shop around for another place to eat. I would’ve rather gone to chipotle on East ninth than eating here, at least everyone at the table would’ve been able to finish their meal."

"My boyfriend and I just bought a house here. We are quickly discovering Scranton food is … weird. This pizza is one of the better pizzas we’ve had (out of maybe 12 pizzerias). We ordered NY style since he lived there as a boy and frankly the other pizza had American cheese on it, which is disgusting. There was this weird flavor though specifically with the cheese. It tasted like Kraft Mac N Cheese powder! Why does everything here have the flavor that it once came from a box? This is not the apocalypse yet guys. Additionally, they clearly use jarred garlic rather than fresh when ordered on (the other) pie. It tastes super sharp. Everyone in Scranton seems to be getting away with mediocrity. I don’t see this is sustainable. This place was okay otherwise though. Great crust. Okay sauce. Mostly good cheese."

"I ordered a penne vodka with grilled chicken, which is exactly as it is described on their menu and on DoorDash. When I received my order, I found bacon in my food, which is a problem as I have a bacon allergy. They claimed it was not their responsibility and told me to contact DoorDash. I understand that, but I will make sure to inform others that this restaurant needs to improve and take care of their customers, whether they are dining in or ordering delivery. All I wanted was a penne vodka pasta, so why is there bacon in it? This is not what I expected from them."

"I absolutely adore this restaurant! The pizza is fantastic, and the food is consistently excellent. We've been coming here for years, and the service is always top-notch, with my waitress being particularly welcoming. My favorite dish is the Tuscan chicken, and they have the best bacon ranch pizza anywhere. We've visited multiple times and have loved it every single time. Just last weekend, we hosted my son's graduation party, and everyone kept asking where the food came from—they enjoyed it so much! I simply told the staff how many people we had and left it to them to handle the order. We ended up with an abundance of food, and even had some leftovers. Plus, I found the pricing to be very reasonable. I know I’ll be hosting all my future parties here. I highly recommend this pizzeria/restaurant! P.S. The pita bread they serve is absolutely delicious; I always ask for extra when I order so I can freeze it for later."

"Rays pizza is amazing. I am a fan! The only issue is that they use their own delivery drivers. It would be better if they allowed DoorDash drivers to pick up orders to ensure that the pizzas arrive hot. Even though I am only 2 miles away, I always seem to encounter issues with their delivery drivers."

"What a great find. We had a concert on South Street so we booked this restaurant for a meal before the show. The owner is super nice and accommodating. We ordered a pizza and it tasted delicious! It was super authentic just like eating in Naples, Italy. They have plenty of seating, room for private parties and a full service bar. I would recommend this place when in this part of Philadelphia."

"The Buffalo slice was quite good, earning a solid 6 out of 10. The Chicken Parm slice was decent but not exceptional, so I’d rate it around 4 or 5 out of 10. Unfortunately, the Margherita slice was quite disappointing; I'd give it only a 2 or 3 out of 10. The Marinara sauce also fell flat – it lacked flavor, to be honest. Overall, while this experience wasn't the best, the staff was really nice, and they do offer some decent options. There's enough potential to warrant another visit, and I would definitely recommend Maplewood Pizzeria for anyone in the MAPSO area looking for reasonably priced and tasty pizza. I think I'll have to try more items from their menu before making a final judgment!"

"We've done business with this establishment for over 20 years, service was always great, until yesterday, we placed the order by phone, we're told it would be ready in a half hour, my husband showed up 15 minutes early, the man working, yelled at my husband for being early, not once but three times (the owner had stepped out to go to the store) we often show up early and have no problem waiting for our order to be prepared. Since when can't you arrive early. Very rude...probably won't be going back. A nasty employee can ruin what was once a wonderful business relationship."

"My son and I are huge fans of Basilico Pizza Pasta! They not only offer the best pizza around, but their Penne Vodka is also one of the finest I've ever had. The vodka sauce is so tasty that I could happily savor it like soup! My son insists they have the best mozzarella sticks as well! "This restaurant was amazing! It was extremely busy, so our waitress had her hands full, but she was very attentive, especially after I arrived late and informed her about my dietary restriction (celiac disease). I chose to try the gluten-free minestrone soup, and I was a little unsure if I would like it since not all restaurants make soups well. However, I absolutely loved it! I finished every last drop in my bowl! I will definitely come back just for that wonderful soup. My family also enjoyed their meals."

"Overall, the customer service at the drive-thru was good. I tried the Buffalo chicken and seafood pizza and, although I wasn't impressed, I can't fully judge their traditional pizzas yet. I realized that I should stick to more traditional pizza options in the future. I plan to try their traditional Italian dishes, like a pizza with ordinary toppings or their Stromboli, or maybe even their award-winning wings. While I'm not sure if their regular pizza can compete with Arturo's in New Orleans, I did have a good time at Memphis Tavern before trying it. I enjoyed my experience at Memphis Tavern so much that I wish I could have stayed for another round. I won't give up on traditional Italian food just yet, and I suggest others do the same. Have a good night and steer clear of specialty pizzas. Focus on more traditional options like I plan to do next time. I may be halfway wrong, but I also feel halfway right."

"I've attempted to order delivery from the Greensburg location several times, and each time I encountered an extremely long wait. During my last order, I used the Slice app, but the manager recommended that I place my order directly through their website instead due to technical issues with Slice, and he advised me to allow an hour for delivery. Today, I decided to give them another shot and placed my order at 11:00 AM. However, my order status still indicates that it is being prepared, despite an estimated delivery time of between 12:15 and 12:30 PM—it's now 12:38 PM. If you don't mind waiting over two hours for your food, then this might be the place for you. The food itself is excellent, but the real struggle is actually receiving it. If they can’t guarantee timely delivery, they might want to consider offering takeout only. Otherwise, be prepared for a significant wait."

"We just returned from 35 days in Italy and did not know if the Italian restaurants in the states would disappoint. WOW! My wife and I had the homemade linguine and it was exactly the same as the dinners we had in Bari, Italy. 5 stars isn’t high enough to rate this place. I would give them a ten.
