"I WASTED MY MONEY SO YOU DON’T HAVE TO!! While in Cincinnati I am always excited to try some local flavors. Chilies, soups, and hot drinks always makes for a nice splash in the winter snow, so I landed on Mariemont’s LaRosa’s Pizza Baked Onion Soup. Rave reviews for the Hyde Park Location, but friends and company where near and ordering the downtown Mariemont area…. Nevertheless , I highly recommend the area around this place. (Sidebar: Movie theater, Starbucks, pet and human grooming, art galleries and so much more!! This restaurant is out of place! The people inside are nice, it’s the food. Apparently the original family changed and sold the recipes or something don’t quote me on that; it’s just local chatter.)The Baked Onion Soup at this location is a 2/10. It’s more like an onion gravy with a soggy slice of bread and a melted, not baked glob of cheese. The pack of crackers where old and stale. I had no choice other than properly dispose of this item. Luckily, there is a Panera Bread close in proximity. The lovely team there blessed me with an eatable bowl of amazing French Onion Soup; like your Grams use to make, with so much joy and comfort in each bite. Save you money an go straight to Panera or make the trip to Hyde Park."
