"The food was delicious. We had 2 appetizers chicken quesadilla and the fried calamari. Both were wonderful. My girlfriend had steak shrimp fajitas, also great. And the value was outstanding, because it seemed like pre pandemic prices and quantity. Our waiter and the attending staff were very attentive and accommodating superior service. The only negative was my date's drink a weak mojito. I had pineapple/coconut lemonade delicious!"

"I really want to enjoy this restaurant, but their consistently incorrect orders are truly surprising. It's tough for me to write this, but I believe they need to be aware of the issue. This isn't just a one-time thing. We've ordered from them more than 15 times, trying to give them multiple chances, yet almost every order has been wrong. If I request no sour cream, I often receive extra; if I ask for pinto beans, I get black beans or nothing at all. If I order tacos, I frequently end up with a different dish."

"I am going to attempt keep this one short and to the point. First and foremost, I want to start by stating that Tony 's performance was an absolute disgraceful performance. Quite frankly, he was unprofessional. Last weekend, my lady and I traveled all the way from Chicago to (attempt) to eat at this establishment. Key word attempt. When we arrived there was only one other group in the entire restaurant. It was a party of four or five people, therefore, it was not busy at all. We were seated by a waiter named Tony. That was literally the end of our service. My lady and I read through the entire menu, then we had to decided on what we were going to order. We waited, and waited, and we waited for Tony to return to our table. In fact, we had a taste for some ice cream later so we started to Google ice cream parlors in the nearby area, essentially waiting for Tony to return to our table. After waiting for about 20 real-time minutes, I walked over to the bar and asked the lady if she could alert Tony. I literally heard her inform Tony (who was on the other end of the bar that we were ready and he needed to return to the table. I returned to my table, And we waited ... And we waited ... And we waited... Then, we see Tony nonchalantly walk to and from the kitchen area. Still, there was no service. Again, this place was almost empty, with the exception of one other party of four or five people. Literally, that was it. After 30 minutes of real-time waiting for Tony to return to the table to take our order, we slowly started to gather our items and put on our coats. As we started to walk towards the exit, Tony was seen laughing, joking, and having a casual conversation with some gentleman. It wasn 't until he saw us about to walk out the door, before he finally attempted to acknowledge us. Tony asked if everything was okay, I told him he clearly seemed preoccupied. Tony clearly didn 't care. His performance or lack thereof was absolutely disgraceful. Quite frankly, he refused to serve us. He didn 't even have the decency to apologize or to attempt to make it right. My lady and I will never return to this establishment. For folks that are looking for some real Peruvian food, I would highly recommend trying Taste of Peru in Roger Park."

"My husband and I came here after going to a show in DTLA. We LOVED it! I made a reservation beforehand, and we were seated immediately. We chose to sit upstairs, so we had a beautiful view of the pool and the landscaping around it. I couldn't have asked for more. The food was soooooooo tasty and good. We ordered a half dozen of oysters, the baked brie with fig jam yum yum), the Heirloom Tomato Buffalo Mozarella this was AMAZING, I'm not sure what the sauce was on the tomatoes, but both my husband thought it was delicious), and the Wild Mushrooms Piadina, which is like a flat pizza. It was super tasty too, maybe just a tad on the rich side, but still amazing. We shared a bottle of wine, and it was great. I can't say enough about the ambience. We sat upstairs, which has a railing of rosemary, and the pergola over the top floor has beautiful, ornate lanterns for the lighting. Overall, I can't say enough about how great our experience was. I would highly recommend going here for any reason. Date night is great, and I can see hanging out with a group of friends also being really fun. Go check it out!"

"We have been there several times. We usually walk in, this time we made a reservation because it was a special occasion. My mom had pollo a la braza half chicken, salad and french fries) which had a visible butt, tripe and feathers attached. In a calm manner we notified the server, the server notified the short Latino guy who is at the entrance checking in people with reservations. He came over, we showed him, he had the guts to tell me the feathers and the butt were on the bottom not on top. I said excuse me, I believe chicken must be cleaned before being cooked. Before I could finish talking he took the plate saying that was not the place to discuss the issue. He left like a little kid throwing a tantrum, never came back to at least apoligize like any other restaurant would have done. The server brought the check, she said they took off the chicken from our bill. That man needs to learn some customer service skills, needs to learn how to treat people with respect and dignity. We have been there before, he picks and chooses who to be friendly with, this is the second time we have an issue with him. The food is always great, first time we have an issue with the food, unfortunately he didn't handle it properly. Yes we might be back and hopefully next time he greets us and treats us with respect and dignity, we deserve to have a decent meal and our dinner and family time is not ruined."

"I don't know how to start, everything seems to be wrong , the place was a whole mess, the tables are dirty , and I don't want to talk about bathroom, well for me the most important thing is the food , but oh no ! The food was bad , and honestly I'm just praying right now to stay away from the hospital , we noticed the the meat was not fresh , it seems that was reheated with a lot oil, the fries were bad , full of oil l, and the most scary thing was the rice , and I'm truly worried about this , the rice is super dangerous if it's out of the temperature for too long , the rice had a weird texture, (like quinoa) , we stopped eating and we trash everything, good think mi kiddo didn't eat anything, I'm not exaggerating but I hope I don't get sick , food was expensive as hell, money it's hard to get these days ! You even charge automatically for a fee service blaming inflation and recession (not kidding , they have a sign warning you that they will charge you a fee) if the manager or owner is reading this , please give my money back ! Or at least close the restaurant someone is gonna get sick , you could kill somebody, it's evident the lack of interest, it's obvious that taco business is your main business now , please manager owner contact me , and pray that I won't get sickEdit : im at home and I'm suffering of diarrhea:S"

"Very nice place to dine in Cooper City, which is rare. It is billed as a Peruvian cuisine establishment and its appetizers did not disappoint. The shrimp ceviche was good, a bit too salty for my taste, but the shrimp was tender. Order the Yucas con queso. It has a tasty Guancaina sauce for dipping. The fried calamari also very well done. The Aji de gallina was also a hit. I ordered the 24 oz porterhouse (I was hungry and had skipped lunch). Cooked to my liking (medium) very well. Try their Pisco Sour for a nice cool cocktail. The Suspiro a la Limeña and the Passion Fruit mousse are great meal enders. Wished they had tiradito in their appetizers. The servers, especially Giovanni, were always around and replenishing our drinks regularly. Excellent service all around. Oh, they also deliver locally. I will be coming back! Give them a try!"

"What more can you possibly say about a perfect meal? The food was cooked to perfection. The desserts are mind blowingly good. The atmosphere is very relaxed and perfectly appointed. The service was sensational. The things that really stand out are the hot sauce, which was perfectly spicy. The rice was anything but ordinary-phenomenal! The music was a perfect mix of ambient electonic. This is the first time in a long time that the meal and every detail was absolutely perfect. Today's meal was about celebrating the changes and opportunities that lay ahead for our family and it was a perfect representation of the exciting times ahead."

"The terrible service, the waitress who served me was so rude, they throw the menu on my table, I have to buy it food at this place for long, but I never went there to eat and today I had a bad experience, I ask for a Jalea, but I told the lady, I just want fish and shrimp, they ignore me and go away and of course they brought me the wrong food. If you have a restaurant and a place where people go to enjoy a little time with friends or by themselves, you need to have a great time of waitress that is nice to everyone, no matter what happens, this waitress that she comes, she hasn't said hi, how you are, no, nothing that she just said, what can I do for you, I really mean! Be nice with people if you don't like your job, just stop! My first time in this place and I will never be back again, was so terrible that I paid for my drink and went! For you owners, your food is amazing, but your time you need to teach them to treat customers better"

"The food in this restaurant is ALWAYS delicious, but I've noticed that every time I've gone, regardless of the waiter, they are always pushing the most expensive dishes and it really leaves a bad taste in your mouth! They had several ceviches for about $18 bucks and they kept trying to get me to order the $48 ceviche. My friend was ordering the Lomo Saltado and they kept asking her to upgrade the beef to filet mignon. Only because I was treating for my friend's bday lunch is why I didn't say anything, but if I had been with family, I would have definitely called them out on all these ugly tactics! It really put a hamper on an otherwise excellent meal!"

"I'm sure there are a lot of us who have been wanting to try this place ever since Piscos closed back in 2006. The problem is that nobody knows what FOP restaurants take anymore. Can we pay with cash, a credit card, or a check? It drives me nuts when a server walks up with their handheld device and acts like we don't know what they are doing. So many times, it's just me, and all I want is what some people will call a snack (a.k.a. tapas) and a tasty beverage. Everyone asks if you have a reservation, and if you don't and you're just one person, they want to sound the alarm and tell you, you can only sit for more than 30 45 minutes. Then, you finally get served, and you only have 15 minutes to inhale whatever is in front of you. Why is going out to eat anymore like a competition? I look at my receipt, and the server puts down six people. Maybe that's flattering to some people, but I'm an average woman with an average build. I don't need you to put an auto gratuity while you are tapping on your handheld toast, your clover, your iPad, your iPhone, or so called smart device. No wonder food trucks are here to stay. It's a lot of work for everyone involved. Please stop making it so hard on people and update your training manual to conform with what people want just some good food and drink at fair prices. That's it. That's all."

"Food overall was good. My entree however, the vegetarian bowl was not what I expected. It was described as sautéed vegetables with quinoa, but then the waitress asked if I wanted the rice in addition to the quinoa. I said no, just the quinoa. She said that's five dollars extra. I showed her that the description listed quinoa and not rice, and she said yes but it's five dollars extra. OK, I said. Something was obviously lost in translation. Whatever. When the large bowl arrived it was almost all quinoa with tiny bits of vegetables mixed in."

"Fresca offers upscale dining with delicious Peruvian food that's perfect for a birthday or special occasion. The inside is gorgeous, with brightly colored walls and decorated with murals and paintings. They have seating options for both small groups of two and larger tables. The menu is drool worthy I haven't tried much Peruvian food before and wanted to try everything on the menu! I settled for sharing plantain chips and chicharrones for appetizers, and the seared salmon dish for the main. The plantain chips were really addicting and great for snacking. I was a little misled by the chicharrones I thought it was going to be roasted chicken with crispy skin, but it ended up being fried chicken. I would probably not order that one again. But the salmon dish was so yummy! It came with rice and beans as well as oysters, scallops, shrimp. It was quite large and filling, and I'm glad I chose to split it with my friend. Finally, because it was my friend birthday, the waitress brought out a flan at the end! It was gorgeously plated and had a strong vanilla flavor that I loved. I would absolutely come here again to try more of the menu! It is on the pricier side so I would only come for a special occasion."
