"Food: We ordered summer rolls with shrimp and pork wrapped in rice paper served with peanut sauce. Unfortunately, the pork was incredibly dry, the rice paper was tough, and the vegetables were served cold, as if they had just come out of the freezer. I would rate this dish a 3 out of 10. I also ordered the #68 house special big rice noodle soup, which is supposed to come with shrimp, crab, pork, squid, and a fried shrimp cake. To my disappointment, there was no pork and no fried shrimp cake in my soup. I approached the server, who I believe is the owner, to ask why my soup was missing meat. Initially, he seemed skeptical of my concern. He went to the kitchen to speak with the cooks and returned with a small bowl containing just three thin slices of pork, without any apology or genuine customer service. I would give this soup a rating of 2 out of 10. Overall, it was a disappointing experience, especially since we are regular customers who order the same dishes frequently. Service: If you have a white friend, bring them along, as they seem to receive better service here. When we arrived today, we were the only table in the restaurant, yet the server just dropped off the menu and walked away. After we placed our order, a white man and an Asian woman came in and sat next to us. Suddenly, the server's demeanor changed completely. He became the epitome of a wonderful server, explaining the menu with kindness and checking in on their table frequently to ensure their food was cooked perfectly and to describe how much meat they received. Meanwhile, he never came to check on us or asked if we had any issues with our food. When I requested some basil leaves, he informed me that my soup wasn’t Pho and therefore didn’t come with basil, but he would get me some anyway. Typically, every Pho restaurant I've visited provides bean sprouts, basil leaves, green chilies, and lime or lemon, but here, you have to ask for them. Overall, I’m saying goodbye to this place. The next time I crave Pho, I’ll be heading to DaLat or Pho Kim Long instead."
