"4 star for the food. 2 star for location. Was in St. Louis for business. I was starving since I had an early flight and didn't really have time to eat prior to driving to the airport. Checked in and looked up a few places for Vietnamese food nearby the hotel. So here we go, being a visitor to St. Louis, I obliviously do not know my way around. The Uber driver was asking me on our drive there why i was heading in the direction of town for food. He didn't ask to be rude but because the area I was headed to is one of the worst parts of St. Louis!! Well, as we got closer, I can see why ... buildings boarded up, homeless folks on the streets, trash, etc.. I was starting to worry a bit. We pulled up to the restaurant and I was almost afraid to go inside because of the surroundings. Well I pulled my big girls pants up, walked inside and sat down. The place is a hole in the wall for sure. It's on the corner and looks like it could've been from a 70's Kung fu movie! Host was super nice. He took my order and shortly after the food came. I order the combination pho. I was a bit surprised about the bowl it was served in but the important thing is that, it was good. I loved that they had all of the sauce fixings at the table! I hate it when I have to continuously ask for more this or that so this was a plus. I also order the Hue Tieu with rice noodles and a bahn mi sandwich to go. I didn't want to have to go back out again come dinner time and paying for uber multiple times a day can get costly. Overall, this place is worth checking out if you love pho but please try and go with someone so you fee a bit more secure due to the area and environment."
