"The service and the bar at this restaurant were excellent, but unfortunately, the food was inedible. We ordered medium-rare steaks, with my wife getting the filet and myself the prime rib. However, when our food finally arrived, my wife's steak was burnt on the outside and overcooked on the inside, while my prime rib was grilled and well done. We informed the waitress, who said the kitchen would prepare new steaks. The manager also came out to hear our concerns, but explained that the prime rib is cooked rare and then finished on the grill. We suspect that the prime rib was cooked in advance. Despite our time limit, the food still hadn't arrived after 20 minutes, so we decided to just take it home. When the bill arrived, we saw that we were charged for the uneatable food. The manager argued that my wife had eaten some of her side, which was not true. She eventually removed all charges, but we left the restaurant hungry and disappointed. This was not the first time we have been let down by this restaurant, and it will be the last. Although it has a beautiful view of the Missouri River, the management issues have ruined our dining experiences. It's a shame because the service is good, but the food quality is unacceptable. We will not be returning."
