"Started at the bar wanting to look at menus, and to see how long the wait was for outside seating. Immediately asked by the bartender if we wanted to eat at the bar. Said no, and asked for two Labatt's bottles, which were displayed along with other bottles at the back of the bar, although only the top of the bottle was barely visible. He stated that they didn't have that, and offered another beer on tap. When asked what that was, he said it was the closest to Labatt's that they had, but did not offer a tasting, and walked away. We ordered nothing, and began to peruse the menus. Similar to The Keg, with slightly lower steak prices. Another bartender happened by, and asked if we wanted anything. Repeated our request for Labatt's- she opened a cooler loaded with them. Distinct impression the previous bartender only wanted to serve food and be overtipped as if he was a server. Large bar with plenty of open stools, and we eventually did ask for a table and were seated within less than 10 minutes, so...he pretty much was one of the two bad impressions I had the entire trip. Neverless, he had no issue presenting us with a $32 CAD bill for 4 bottles of Labatt's, that he didn't serve. We asked the host station about outside seating and were told that was a separate station, and we would not be given a buzzer, and they would not come looking for you at the bar when your table was ready. Again, suspect information, given the other reviews. We were seated quickly inside, where a pleasant but harried server took our appetizer order. My husband ordered the Lobster Poutine, which arrived via other servers (hate that practice) without any lobster. By the time we we revisited by our original server, despite repeated attempts to flag her or anyone else down, he had eaten part of it out of hunger. She went back to confirm with the kitchen that they indeed made the error, and let us know that she had confirmed we weren't lying. She did offer to take it of the bill, but in the end still charged us $10 CAD for the basic poutine he received in error. The steaks were okay, but unremarkable, certainly for the price. All in all, it is one of those establishments that you really want so hard to like, but in the end falls flat. Super crowded, even at an early hour, so maybe we were alone in our poor experience, but I sincerely doubt it."

"I never thought I would ever write such a bad review This place is a joke!First walked in place it was empty on a Friday night? Took a while but someone came to our table to see what we wanted to roder. We ordered or meals and drinks. waiter was friendly, I think he had to go to the SAQ to get our wine, it took a long timeWine was hot?then I felt good it is Friday night and asked for a shrimp cocktail to startafter a while, they came with everything at the same time main coarse starters and later the bread, LOLthought it was odd getting bread after all had arrived the waitress said the bread was frozen and they needed to warm it up that's why it was served last.My daughters Lobster bisque was moldy and room temperature guess someone did not put it in the microwave long enoughI cut my steak to discover it was raw!!!my shrimp cocktail was a shrimp brochette after all?No one was coming to see if everything was ok so I had to ask a person that was cleaning tables to get the waiter she acted like she was an alien who did not understand English or FrenchShe went to see all the devas that are at the reception area who were twirling there hair but they looked very busy talking together remember this place is empty with 100 dysfunctional staff.finally, a waiter came buy and I showed him the raw steak which must have been put on the grill for 15 seconds that's including flipping it both sides. Now he said he would have the chef put it back on the grill.I asked him if he thought in his opinion reheating a $35.00 steak on a grill would make a good steak, he did not know but asked them if they could give me a knew one.well five minutes later I decided to order a second glass of warm wine its Friday night and I wanted to relax.5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 20 minute no steak no hot wine.by this time 45 minutes later, my daughter and wife have finished there meals and I am getting fed up.I waited another 10 minutes walked around the restaurant found a waiter and told him to get my bill and the manager. The manger came to see me looked even a bit scared to seeing customers. I told him he should be ashamed of his staff.now do take note, there is a big sign in front of the restaurant saying they are under new management, god how could the past one be worst???manager apologised and told me the steak would not be billed to me.I got the bill and the steak was on it I had to hunt down a waiter again which is as difficult as finding dear in hunting season.but the devas/reception where still all together flipping there hair and chatting.Found a waiter changed the bill and got out of there.this was a 1:15 minute night maireI go to baton Rouge in Boisbrand, west island and Toronto regularly .fantastic service. This restaurant is a disaster shame on you!"
