"My family loves Jalisco Cafe, Bonita. First stop for our out of state visitors. Everything is good. Favorites are Enchilada Suiza, Quesadilla Ranchero Deluxe with Carne Asada, Chile con Carne Burrito Grande. Absolutely the best Chile Rellenos I have found anywhere. Out of state visitors freeze a lot of the delicious Jalisco Cafe food here and fly it back home with them, it is so good!"

"California needs a better Mexican restaurant. This experience was not great at all. The two matching pigtail hair girls at the host desk seemed to not know what they were doing and seemed lost. They seated people who came in after us first when we only had a party of 2. They were constantly on their phones and even heard them talking bad about customers. The food was bland no flavor. Hard and dry and crispy. Carnitas crunched more than the chips. They were drier than a Popeyes biscuit. Drinks were weak and had no flavor. We tried 3 different drinks and all were so gross. Only the beer was good. You can not go wrong with beer or water. Seriously ONLY order beer here. They can?t mess that up. Hot sauce taste like spaghetti sauce. By far the worse tasting food I?ve had here in California. Order things that did not even come out and honestly I am glad no telling how that tasted. The only thing I enjoyed here was the live music. That says a lot. Bring Texas Mexican food over here. Probably will not come back or recommend."

"!!Update 9 9 2022!! Everything The service, food, and beverages were exceptional this evening. Our server, Laura, was very sweet, thoughtful, and prompt! She?s was also truly amazing with our 5 year old granddaughter! As for recommending to friends family,.. "10/10! Picked up a small catering/fiesta tray here after having one at a friend’s a few weekends ago. Excellent, delicious food. Everything was prepped and handled with care by the team members. They even helped me load the food into my car. You get a ton of food for your money and they even throw in the chips and salsa (a LOT of it) at no extra charge if you get a fiesta tray, which is awesome. Food was still nice and hot by the time I got it home 15 min later, and held really well while guests got their food. Definitely a great price for both catering and dining in. I have been here before for a birthday party. Love the ambiance and decor- it’s very clean and relaxing environment. I highly recommend!!"

"I would recommend giving this restaurant a try. They offer a good selection of tequila and host some exciting events as seen on their menus. The chips were average, but the side of hot sauce provided was really spicy and delicious, definitely the highlight of the meal. The jalapeño margarita was also quite tasty. I ordered the chimichanga, which was decent overall. However, I would not recommend the Margarita flight for two reasons. Firstly, it was weak and overly sweet. Secondly, the server unexpectedly upgraded it to Casamigos tequila, which I found to be quite rude as we had not requested it. The service was a letdown, as our waiter was inattentive and failed to provide a satisfactory experience. It seemed like everything was an inconvenience for him, and the additional charge for the upgraded tequila felt intentional. Although I suggest giving this place a try, personally I am unlikely to return due to the high prices and lack of value. Overall, I would rate Viva Margarita a 2.7 out of 5."

"eating here did not simply slip; it muted. if it wasn't for the charge of the salt on each individual what it would have been tasteless. server was slow and did not come back by much and said nothing about the untouched plates of 3 of us 6. He removed the Carnitas tacos after one of us had complained how bad they were. even you once excellent salsa is faster downhill than lindsey fromn. we have often eaten here and it is in the really great, but the previous time that we have noticed that the dings were tasted. this visit confirmed that various means are not good."

"We went on a Sunday evening, and it was a bit crowded, but the wait was only about 20 minutes. I love the vibe in this place. It's like a very old, traditional Mexican restaurant (which it actually is . The menu is huge, so there's lots of choices, and we all enjoyed what we ordered. (There were 7 of us. I got the seafood enchiladas and they were really delicious. The only thing I didn't care for were the chips. They are the really coarse, greasy ones. It's just as well, though, because I didn't fill up on chips like I usually do! The service was good and the employees attentive. I know we'll be back because there are several things we each still want to try. It was well worth the drive from San Marcos. I would definitely recommend this restaurant."

"Pretty disappointed with this restaurant. My first visit will be my last...and sadly they probably don 't care. I visited with a large PLANNED group. They were not prepared for us. The wait staff treated us like second class citizens because we were part of THAT group . Over 80 people who would estimate $26 per ticket, and tip $10 a plate....$2880 not a bad morning revenue generator...and marketing to 80 people who MIGHT return. Pretty good opportunity that went to poopville because of bad customer service. The food was mediocre. The wait staff was increased because we were coming but they still were overwhelmed. I know one of our party never got served because the waitress never came back to check on us. And they split the group. The manager was condescending and didn 't receive my input very well. Maybe it was because I wasn 't the only person complaining. Do not bring a large party here. And I wouldn 't go here if you are expecting wonderful food. I was going for the group event. No reason to make a return...even if it 's a group event."

"I ordered 2 cheese enchiladas and a sour cream and spinach enchilada. I received 2 chicken enchiladas and the sour cream and spinach. I was all you could eat enchiladas day. The chicken was dry and had no flavor. I received another sour cream and spinach. They never came back to our table. They forgot a soup order. I'm not happy with this visit."

"Upon entering the restaurant, we immediately felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. It was evident that the floor was dirty. After being seated, we noticed that the table was also dirty and requested to be moved to a different spot. The menus were also not clean. Although the service was friendly, it was a bit slow. The food we ordered was average. The bus boy clearing tables next to us was noisy, interrupting our conversation. While the prices were reasonable, we do not plan on returning as cleanliness is important to us when dining out."

"In AZ you may have chosen to allow a few hours of each day to not run the AC. Well that creates a window of time you need to go out and explore, well the request for this day was Margaritas!!! Wife said here are the options and one lead us to a easy opening choice when reading the restaurant review. 100 tequilas in the bar. Perfect off and running straight over to check it out. Right out the gate walking in I could tell we made the right choice. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating to us. When asked about the extensive list of Tequilas they had their homework done. Went for the mezcal old fashioned and it was so good I didn?t even try anything else had three of those alone. Wife tried a few options and she had the taco platter and loved them. I did have to try the desert and the fresh donut pastry with honey and power sugar and cinnamon were perfect!! With a daily Happy hour that falls inside our NO AC zone you can bet we will be back here multiple times working our way through that 100 Tequila list!! Great place, good food and amazing Drinks"

"I stand by my original review below but I thought I needed to update my experience. The GM contacted me and was very genuine in his concern about my review. Next time I'm in town I will be giving them another try. Hoping this was just an isolated issue. Try this place they deserve another chance. My original review: The good thing was that once we finally got seated the service was great and the salsa and chips were amazing. Now the rest of the experience was not great. We were told the wait would be an hour and a half to an hour 45. It was Tuesday night and not incredibly busy so we figured that was an over estimate. Lots of tables were open so the 2 of us figured we would wait. Lots of younger people came and walked right in, the only people that seemed to be waiting were older, meaning in their 50s or so. Like clockwork our table took an hour and 45 minutes. I think the hostess was just showing her authority. Nothing else made sense. The food was fast but average at best, but worth the wait. I had high hopes after the fantastic salsa but I was disappointed. My advice is you can skip this place, especially if there is a wait."

"when searching the menu for vegetarian options we could make vegan, we asked our waitress and she went and got us an entirely vegan menu! there were 4 options, but the hassle of asking for accommodations on a vegetarian meal was no longer an issue! we got the vegan quesadilla and it was good! the only thing is there were no vegan cheese options, but very glad to have a separate menu."
