"The bread is always extremely hard! I visited this place a second time hoping my previous experience was just a fluke, but once again, it was really tough to bite into. They don't bake the bread fresh on a daily basis. It completely ruined my sandwich. I would recommend skipping this place!"

"I ordered a Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki chopped salad, and when the employee measured out the chicken, it didn't look like a full serving. He asked if I wanted double meat, which I declined, but I pointed out that the amount he gave me seemed off. He then dumped what he'd already measured and tried again, but this time, he actually provided even less chicken than before. I really wish I had taken a picture of the salad—it barely filled half the bowl. At other locations I've visited, the bowls are typically overflowing. If I hadn't been with a group that had already ordered, I would have chosen a different Subway. That other location is much better managed and doesn’t cut corners like this. As an average customer, I found this experience incredibly frustrating. It felt like I was being penalized for a mistake that shouldn't have happened! There are plenty of other restaurants nearby that offer better service and don't skimp on ingredients!"

"Whoever owns this location needs to get involved more. I will no longer go to this location . It's all high school kids working there and whole group of kids hanging out in the corner aand not working . Legit saw drugs exchange hands at this location between an employee and a guy who brought his scooter in. Fountain drinks are all swapped , bread stale and burnt, nothing restocked. It's literally a zoo in this location. Subways are not fancy or clean in general but this one takes the cake. Terrible ownership"

"Two young guys neither of whom seem like they've ever made a sandwich (in their entire lives) working at a sandwich shop. I got the worse of the two. Couldn't use a knife properly to cut bread, at least 1/3 of my mangled bread had no protein, 3 scoop tuna instead of 4 completely mashed into the two ends of the bread but nothing in the middle, toaster not operated correctly resulting in non-toasted, toppings scarce, and of the few scraps of spinach he gave me mostly wilted pieces that belong in the trash. I mean the sandwich was like $10 and it was just absolute trash. I'm done with this place."

"Disappointed not only did they not have meatballs for the third time but the employee would not give me time to make my selection. Ended up paying $12 something for a bowl of lettuce, spinach and tuna. Would have appreciated having time to look at the menu mainly because there were no other customers. "I had a terrible experience with this restaurant, which is owned by the same person as others in the area. This is the third time I've had an issue where my cash was taken. It feels like they are blacklisting me, and I have no intention of ordering from any of their locations again. The owner seems to encourage dishonest behavior, and even claims that different restaurants are under different ownership to avoid accountability. All the establishments in Somerset and Science Hill are run by the same person who is taking advantage of customers. You've been warned—watch out, or you might get ripped off too."

"I went in for a sandwich and ended up waiting a long time just to place my order. The staff was working very slowly, focusing on a small drive-thru order of two sandwiches. Once they finally took my order, they made it right in front of me. However, there seemed to be some confusion with the drive-thru order, and I ended up waiting a while to pay. When I finally received my sandwich, it felt surprisingly light compared to what I expected. After driving home for 20 minutes, I opened the sandwich only to discover it wasn't what I had ordered and paid $15 for. Subway has really declined in quality. Their new pickles and black olives are awful, and I wish they would switch back to the previous versions. I don't think I'll be returning to Subway anytime soon. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience. If you decide to visit, good luck!"

"Ordered one sandwich and a flatizza online for asap pickup on Sunday, June 25th. Arrived about 30 min after placing, a little after the estimated time. It wasn’t made, no big deal I know it can get busy. After the guy at the counter checked what name our order was under, we watched as 4 different people walked in and ordered at the counter over the span of 30 minutes, each one of them getting their food made and leaving before they even started ours, which was now an hour late by the time we got it. And then the flatizza was missing ingredients we paid extra for, but I wasn’t about to go back into that place. So note to self, don’t use online to “skip the line” as the signage in the restaurant says, because they will ignore your order."

"Wasn't really a bad experience, I've work at subway before in South Carolina. This tipping thing is kinda different somewhat then how I got tipped, if that's what everyone is about. Just don't get attitude like cause of it, not everyone has extra money all the time. I just want my money back for the extra ft long pretzel I didn't ask for but was charged for. Young lady that made my sandwich, I see potential if she stays there. Did good job! Not sure if other person was manager or not, but not tipping shouldn't seem like now Im gonna see slight attitude or like, getting overcharged or whatever problem it caused. No need for it. I'll come back again for sure only if I get back what I got overcharged for, kinda disappointing. I don't wanna make a big issue but I don't like being charged double for 1 item ordered. Kinda disrespectful to someone that's disabled on limited income and don't get to eat out very often. Just hope I get back my money, just simple mistake probably. Find out soon I guess, be calling back again to discuss it with manager again and hopefully solve the issue, if not, then most likely won't be going back and changing my review and be more honest about the whole situation."

"I typically have little to no issue with this location but today marks the end of visiting this location. Ordered a footlong sub, a churro sidekick, and two cookies. The bread on the sub was hard (edible still) but the churro and 2 cookies were hard as a rock, completely uneatable. I couldn’t even break or pull the churro apart it was so hard. The cookies, I couldn’t break them apart either. I went in to either get new food that was edible or a refund. The workers there speak little to no English, I had to explain to him several times what the issue was. He offered to replace the food and served me the cookies first, still hard as a rock. I tried to break them in front of him with no luck. After arguing and arguing, I finally got a refund followed by a very rude comment muttered under his breath. You sell people food so they can EAT it. Yet throws a fit when you ask for a refund after all replacement food is hard and uneatable. Absolutely ridiculous. I don’t see how this location has lasted as long as it has. I DONT recommend. For the amount of money I spent in one order, it should have been edible, right? ?"

"First I did an online order I get there cause it says it's ready and I already paid for it. It did the whole process that they were making it it was be prepared and it was ready to be picked up so I show up the lady behind the counter said i do not have any online orders so I showed her where we ordered it and paid for it and she still acts like I'm lying and wasn't wanting to do nothing about it so I asked her so what am I supposed to order and pay again then she decides to call her manager which barely got us our order made and while we were standing there this little 2 year old girl sits in a chair the chair falls apart and this little girl got hurt this little girl happens to be my granddaughter and the manager on the phone just said oh my does she need a Band-Aid if she needs Band-Aid will give her a Band-Aid but sorry we didn't know that Chair was broken when the staff right here in front of me is saying oh yeah we don't know what that chair is doing out there it's been broke for a long time. We were there for an hour and a half trying to get a couple of sandwiches made we already ordered they were rude they didn't hold up to any standards of customer service and this place it's unsafe and very poorly brand this is a disgrace for Subway can't even sit in a chair there without the chair falling apart and gets hurt and they just blow it off like nothing and it's bleeding I tell you what it's a good thing I'm in the top 10% of Google reviewers I hope everyone reads this"

"If I order online, they get it wrong every. single. time. Two different times I’ve ordered a steak and bacon sandwich and got just a bacon sandwich with no steak. The type of bread is wrong half the time. And every time I’ve ordered cookies, I don’t get the amount I ordered. I’m usually pretty easygoing about honest mistakes but the amount of times this has happened is ridiculous."

"I visited for the first time and found it to be just average. It was less crowded, which made me a bit uncertain about the food quality. The staff was friendly, but my sandwich wasn't wrapped properly. On the bright side, we were glad to discover a vegetarian option in the area, especially since we came to see the Popeye statue. "I was the horrible customer that ordered a large pick up order for 30 mins before the store closed. One of the workers, Faye, called me to let me know they were out of one of the ingredients and was very apologetic. It was no problem and they swapped out the ingredient for me. All 4 foot longs were perfect with no mistakes, and Faye (a long with 2 other workers I didn't catch the name of) was very nice and professional in the store! Service: Takeaway"

"In a neighborhood where many restaurants treat customers like an inconvenience and are often rude, it was refreshing to be treated with such kindness. I believe the woman who prepared our food was named Danielle. She was exceptionally kind and patient, and she did an outstanding job with our order. This was honestly the best Subway meal I've ever had, and the ordering experience was equally delightful. Danielle deserves a raise at her store—she truly is remarkable. The only improvement I could suggest is for them to offer the keto bread I've heard so much about. I was looking forward to trying it, but my chopped salad was fantastic nonetheless."

"Placed an order online, said 30 minutes, I come in about 35 minutes later, haven't even started on the order. Not because they are busy, because the dude working was mopping, and by mopping I mean sweeping STANDING mop water out the front door. Had to wade through to come in. Almost ate shi* waking in. I tell him order for Sean, he says he doesn't have one, then finds the printout with my order. So he starts to make it. In order to make it, he spends 5 minutes flipping through the manual to see how to make the sandwich. 2 of the easiest sandwiches ever for the kids. Basically plain. Why don't good employees exist anymore. Ridiculous. It's now been 15 minutes, and the first sandwich isn't even done yet. Not a soul in here."
