"This was a fun time for my family. I had never taken part in the Valentine's Day dinner before at White Castle. It was really easy to make a reservation via Open Table...and then later change it.Dinner was great. I realize the workers may not have ever served a table before but Tina, the one I had, did a fantastic job. The staff was great and very pleasant and even had Valentine's cupcakes for everyone. It was a fun experinece, one that I will do again next year with my family"

"They did not have our reservation. We were seated but it seemed like nobody wanted us there. I offered to show my confirmation but they didnt want to see it. It felt like we were rushed with our meal. We werent offered refills, and they gave our check before asking if we wanted dessert. And when we ordered dessert it seemed to be a major inconvenience. I understand that they are not used to table side service, and they years we went prior were amazing. Im hoping it was just a fluke and next year valentines day will go smoother"

"Came through waited in line for 20 minutes or more (they were busy so I understand) I ordered some food and cheese sticks. I forgot to order chicken rings. So when I got to the window I asked to have them added on to my order. He said I would have to drive back around!! Are you joking?? So instead of just ringing them in right there and handling the situation I said forget it. So you lost that sale. I received my food, got home, and was even more upset at the fact that I didn't receive 1 napkin, no marinara for my cheese sticks, and not 1 fork for my cheese fries. Do I LITERALLY need to ask for all of these items to be placed in my bag!? Where I work we serve cheese sticks and automatically give them marinara. We also automatically give them napkins, and DEFINITELY don't tell the customer to pull back around. Not only did you lose a sale, you also lost a customer. I like White Castle but not this location. I will definitely be telling everyone about my experience here. We all know word to mouth can ruin a business. ????"

"For anyone who has eaten White Castle, you know that it's basically the same EVERY SINGLE TIME which is one of the reasons that it gets the high rating from me. When you want a slider, you know where to go. "I must have misread the description of the strawberry swirl cheesecake on a stick. They are very very tiny. They're good but I think they're a little pricey for their size. I also had the cheese burger sliders fries. My sliders were made as I requested. My boyfriend got the double cheeseburgers sliders fries. We both agree the food was fresh delicious."

"It was cool for what it was. We arrived in town late in the evening and got nostalgic for White Castle. There are none where we live anymore. The staff was friendly, our order was fast and accurate and the food was fresh and hot. My husband decided at thelast minute he wanted to add something on to the order and they had absolutely no problem doing so at the window. One of thethings I most appreciate is they thanked us for our business and were pleasant throughout the experience. We enjoyed our "fix "for White Castle and they didn 't disappoint in service, quality of the food and the nostalgia of it all. Thank you for a greatexperience!"

"Went here for Valentines Day and it was a horrible experience. After getting seated took over 30 minutes before we got our drinks. Then another 90 minutes before our food, (which was their normal menu items) was delivered. After getting our food, we noticed that one of our orders was wrong, one of the items was burnt very badly, and another part of our order was missing. It took another 30 minutes after before our order was corrected. When trying to get to wait staffs attention they seemed like they were either intentionally ignoring or hiding from the customers because we were not the only table having issues. So we had to constantly walk up to the counter to explain to someone that we were waiting to have our order taken and that our order was wrong. We counted at least 5 groups that walked out either after being seated or while waiting to be seated. Had this not been a holiday we would have left, but trying to get a table at another restaurant would have been impossible. We were later told that our server who was the assistant manager had forgotten to place our order. I honestly thought about going through the drive thru while my wife stayed inside and getting our food that way, or ordering a pizza and having it delivered to our location. I would not go back here for Valentines ever again, which is a shame because my wife have been doing this as a fun alternative valentines for the past 7 years. It would be a long time before I would go to this location again based on this last experience."

"My recent visit left me with only 3 out of the 4 burgers I ordered. As you can see from the photo, I received a total of just 4 boxes: 3 burgers and 1 side. Typically, when you order a number 1, you should get 5 boxes. They've done it to me again. The three burgers I did receive were cold and tasted like they had been sitting out for a while. The drive-thru line at this location is always long, and the customer service is very poor. After receiving my order, I had to wait at the window because I didn't get my tartar sauce. I only realized that I was missing the sauce and one of my burgers after I had left my vehicle and was already on my way. I do not recommend this location unless you're willing to gamble your hard-earned money on poorly prepared food served by uninterested staff. I have visited this location several times over the past month, and each experience has been disappointing. Whether you're going through the drive-thru, picking up takeout, or ordering delivery, expect low-quality food. I've come to the conclusion that the employees at this location either don't want to work or lack proper training."

"Occasionally, I enjoy a road trip from KC to a White Castel east toward St. Louis. I saw the corporate ad for special 1921 hamburgers, so I headed out. When I went inside, there were large ads on the menu for the burgers. I ordered one each and was told that they didn't have any. Then I went through the drive through. Big ads again, but no burgers. No explanations, no apologies. Rather than leave empty handed, I bought 20 cheeseburgers and headed home. Soggy buns. Bad taste. A real disappointment."

"I always make sure to stop by this restaurant when I am in the area. I have been coming here since I was a child. No other place can compare to the white locks they serve here. I don't know what it is, but there is something special about them. I live about 120 miles northwest, but I have actually driven all the way here just to get these special White Castles. I have family in the area, and after visiting them, we always stop by to get some cheese-covered fries for the ride home. I also have to mention their pommes frites - crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and always fresh. The customer service here is always good, whether it's day or night. I hope this place never changes."

"I haven't had castles in a while, and when a friend said she was stopping by, it peaked a craving that, unfortunately, was a mistake. The cheeseburgers were burnt on the ends and not cooked in the middle with enough pepper to choke a horse. I saw several people pulling over to bring their orders back. I just threw mine in the trash and chalked up the $2.50 spent as a lesson learned. Nothing is as it used to be!"

"I really wish I could do this review with zero stars!!!! Not sure what was worse, the food or the service, or rather, the lack-of-service. We ordered 20 cheese burgers, they were so cold that the cheese didn?t even melt(see photo) ten regular withcheese and ten cheese burgers without onions, the taste of onions was prevalent in every bite. We also ordered two orders ofloaded fries that were $3.99 each, eleven fries on one order and 9 on the other, in this case, less was actually better, thefries taste as if they were removed from the freezer and allowed to thaw out to room temperature before being topped with bacon,liquid cheese and lots of salt. I?ve been there, No Need To Ever Return. Worse service I?ve ever had at any establishment,seriously ever! Favorite thing about this restaurant was the multitude of phone chargers throughout. I travel for work and dineat many restaurants and this is by far, the slowest and worse service I?ve ever endured. And yes, they were fully staffed. Wecounted 18 employees working during our visit."

"I have always been a fan of White Castle, but I have only visited their locations in Queens and East New York. My second time ordering from the Bronx location was great! I used UberEats to satisfy some late-night munchies, even though I knew I would regret it in the morning. Their fries were not soggy and had just the right amount of salt. The chicken rings and chicken breast sliders were perfectly fried. Writing this review is actually making me crave White Castle now. You can never go wrong with this fast food option. While I am not a fan of their burgers, I definitely recommend getting their mozzarella sticks well done and their chicken breast sliders without cheese. You won't regret it!"
