"We had to check out of Atlanta Marriott Marquis at 11am on Monday, May 15th as they wouldn’t provide late checkout as in previous years (Please read my review of Atlanta Marriott Marquis under tag FWA 2023) We stayed up real late, due to fursuiting for FWA ‘23 Dead Dog Dance and partying til 4am Monday morning we missed out on our final free breakfast in Sear restaurant on hotel premises. Luckily, we were able to get our luggage out and checked out on time, and my friend and roomie “Toad” decided to visit this restaurant located real close to the hotel and midtown Atlanta. It’s located in a mall and apartment complex, with covered parking. Toad had been here before, and this was my first time dining at J. Christopher’s they are primarily a breakfast and lunch spot, only open from 5am to 2pm daily. It reminded me of The Original Pancake House back home, serving up mostly breakfast fare, ranging from waffles to omelettes. They also had lunch items like burgers and quesadillas, and I opted for lunch item as it was almost noon when we sat down. I ordered patty melt with roasted potatoes, which was a healthy alternative to fries. The patty melt was delicious!! Our waitress was very kind and attentive, she came back many times to make sure we’re ok. Toad enjoyed his omelette. Overall, I would definitely return. FIVE CLAWS UP!!!!!
