"I’ve been a regular at this Safeway for years, and I’m sure the staff know me. Honestly, I don’t mind speaking up because if I don’t, who will? Every time I buy vegetables or fruit here, they have mold on them. They consistently have old, spoiled meat, vegetables, and fruit around. It’s shocking the health department hasn’t stepped in. I’m not talking about food going bad after I bring it home; I mean I literally take the items out of the bags to cook, only to find mold on the packaging and the produce itself. Once, I even saw moldy strawberries just sitting out on display as if someone might buy them."
