"We made reservations for an anniversary dinner. Ruth's Chris doesn't disappoint. Food was great, service was awesome and the ambiance was nice. This was a first visit to this location on LaCantera Parkway. Downside was my vehicle being broke into and ruining the rest of our evening plans. Signs said surveyed by camera - no necessarily true. The buildings are surveyed. Of course, not really the fault of Ruth's Chris but waiting an hour to report it since we live just outside SA was definitely a downer. Next time - UBER for sure."

"This was my 2nd time and I loved it even more. Took the whole family for my sister's birthday. We had the pizza that was out of this world, great crust. Gnocchi, ravioli ... everything is so fresh and delicious. John, the owner, is a real gentleman and knows how to take care of his customers and the server we had that evening. I never felt rushed and could just enjoy the atmosphere and the great food. I highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to a reunion."

"What a fantastic find! Wolf is our new summer go to, cool within the Nordstrom department store. Overlooking bustling 57th, the cocktails were delicious. Italian by way of PNW. We’ve tried a bunch of the appetizers: octopus, cauliflower, polenta fritters, tomatoes, all crave worthy. And the pasta! My favorite is still the spaghetti with King Crab but the pacherri with prawns was perfectly Al dente. We’ll be back this week TWICE to try out their restaurant week fare."

Ore higher end restaurants should heed this call. $15 each but included lots of choices which kids love as well as deserts and a drink. I had the swordfish which was a bit overdone and a bit tasteless. My wife had the filet which was served over a tomatoe based medley of zucchini and squash which really didn't go with it very well. Read reviews and told side of Russell sprouts was roasted but they arrived steamed and again tasteless. All in the best part of the meal was our excellent waiter. Ate at pacific grille the night before and that meal was a lot tastier."

"Not the same as the traditional Nordstrom’s Cafes I visited for over 30 years, and the one at the Perimeter for 28 years. My 2 girls I met the Perimeter location yesterday. They are now all grown-up but yet we were excited to go again all together. Sadly it just wasn’t the same. Our waitress must have been having a bad day. No smile and seemed very stressed. She returned to say they were out of many of the first things we ordered. I was still able to get what I always get there; Lobster Bisque Nicoise Salad. But the salad was just a salad with soggy wilted greens, no capers nor crisp green beans had odd-colored hard boiled eggs. And the bisque was lukewarm. Very sad disappointing. Hoping it was just a supply chain issue short-staffing problem ???"

"We went about an hour after the opening. The tomato soup came out like-warm, which means that they both do not make fresh; and they are not properly heated. I ordered a chicken salad that was advertised as roasted chicken, it wasn't, it was grilled. On the bowl of soup, an appetizer, a salad and a sandwich, $75 was very unimpressed. Wouldn't recommend."

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

"The hostess didn't know how to confirm the reservation. She told me the system was broken. Then she said the restaurant was under new management and they didn't tell her anything. That was after she told me it would take 40 minutes and I was surrounded by empty tables. The manager came finally had us seated and our server was great! I stopped another young lady on the way out and told her I wanted to confirm that my reservation was confirmed with the table open. She saw it immediately and took care of it. The hostess should be trained or let go. She was probably just ready to leave and had to stay because of the 3 staff members who were all late together."

"Once we arrived, we were quickly seated and served our drinks and food. We both opted for the Bazille Burger, which came with fries and a Kalamata olive aioli, along with our drinks (all shown in the pictures). We ordered the burger well done, and despite being cooked through, it was beautifully seasoned and incredibly juicy! The burger was perfectly dressed with just the right amount of lettuce, sauce, sautéed onions, and more. Our server, Oscar, was exceptional and made sure we were well taken care of. We saved room for dessert and decided to try a warm cookie, and it was absolutely amazing! Oscar heated it up for us, and it was beyond delicious—I'd gladly buy a dozen of those cookies! Overall, the prices were reasonable considering the quality and portion sizes of the food. I didn't feel like our meal was overpriced at all; we ordered everything you see in the pictures for under $60 (the bread was complimentary). If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a visit!"

"For a small restaurant tucked away into the corner of Nordstrom, I honestly did not have high expectations for the food. That being said, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of every dish I tried. My family and I started off with 4 appetizers that we all shared: Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts, Crisp Calamari, Heirloom Tomatoes and Burrata, and Artichoke Spinach Dip. Each was very flavorful and the portions were decent; I would recommend all of them. Especially impressive was the Artichoke Spinach Dip, which could easily serve 3-4 people. We all ordered the 6 oz filet mignon for our main course, which comes with sautéed spinach and salt pepper-seasoned fries and a side of kalamata olive aioli. Usually a 6 oz filet would be too small for me, but with the appetizers and other sides it was a solid amount of food that left me pretty satisfied. I ordered the filet rare, and it came out perfectly. It came served with a calabrian chili butter melted over top. I did not actually taste the chili component but the butter suited the filet well regardless. I would definitely order the filet again; the quality of the meat was comparable to something you would find at a nice steakhouse. For dessert, I had a warm skillet chocolate chip cookie served with vanilla ice cream topped with chunks of chocolate and caramel. This item not actually on the menu, but our waiter was kind to mention it to us. Someone else in my party ordered the house-made crème brûlée, which I did have a chance to try. I would highly recommend both desserts. Overall, the quality of the food at Bazille is excellent, and it's definitely good if you're looking for an upscale dining experience that leans more on the casual side."

"Food was good, but a little overpriced service was the WORST no one came to our table for 15 minutes waiter passed, but no one looked at us. When I told the reception, a waiter finally came to our orders. You did not refill our tea/water and a waiter asked if everything is fine as he went past!!! not even a moment to stand and answer us a moment. I also said at the reception, it was my daughter's 16. Birthday and the waiter was not made aware. So disappointed love Nordstrom sitting restaurant, but will continue to go to the Fashion Valley location, this was terrible experience so sad."

"The service and ambiance here was excellent. The menu was very well rounded. We got filet mignon and Royal Red Shrimp to share with salads, sauteed garlic mushrooms and baked potato. There were baskets of a variety of breads and two kinds of butter. Truffles were provided at the end of the meal. It was a beautiful dining experience!"
