"I ordered the vegan Shawarma Wrap, which includes Impossible ground beef, onions, cabbage, red peppers, hummus, and tahini. It came with a side of Israeli salad made from tomatoes, Persian cucumbers, onions, parsley, olive oil, and lemon juice. The wrap was mild, delicious, and very satisfying. This was the first time two of our guests had tried kosher Israeli food, and they absolutely loved it, even taking their leftovers home.
One of our party members was celebrating a birthday. On a whim, our server was able to bring out a beautifully decorated slice of cheesecake and a candle, which was a lovely touch.
Additional notes: TOAST CAFE has been operating since 2012. There is a restroom located outside, with access at the back of the building. The establishment is fully ADA compliant, although the free parking lot can be challenging to navigate, especially for those in a wheelchair. Vegetarian options are abundant, with an excellent Middle Eastern menu. The chef is willing to modify recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions whenever possible. Parking is limited to about 10 spaces, and the restaurant is kid-friendly, as the dishes are generally mild. While everything is ADA accessible, keep in mind that the parking lot is situated at the top of a short incline."
