"I ordered the vegan Shawarma Wrap, which includes Impossible ground beef, onions, cabbage, red peppers, hummus, and tahini. It came with a side of Israeli salad made from tomatoes, Persian cucumbers, onions, parsley, olive oil, and lemon juice. The wrap was mild, delicious, and very satisfying. This was the first time two of our guests had tried kosher Israeli food, and they absolutely loved it, even taking their leftovers home. One of our party members was celebrating a birthday. On a whim, our server was able to bring out a beautifully decorated slice of cheesecake and a candle, which was a lovely touch. Additional notes: TOAST CAFE has been operating since 2012. There is a restroom located outside, with access at the back of the building. The establishment is fully ADA compliant, although the free parking lot can be challenging to navigate, especially for those in a wheelchair. Vegetarian options are abundant, with an excellent Middle Eastern menu. The chef is willing to modify recipes to accommodate dietary restrictions whenever possible. Parking is limited to about 10 spaces, and the restaurant is kid-friendly, as the dishes are generally mild. While everything is ADA accessible, keep in mind that the parking lot is situated at the top of a short incline."

Went there to eat and I had an ice coffee in my hand and the lady would not let us eat there because we had an outside drink. I have never heard such a thing. You don’t know if that was mixed with my vitamins or not. Well you just lost 2 customers we went down the street to Marmalade and they welcomed us in and we ordered more drinks with them. View menu

Had the continental breakfast. I was dubious about ordering it in the first place but it was the special and I figured they must stand by the “House Tapas” it comes with. Come to find, the “tapas” consists of 2 Tbsp each of: tuna salad, guacamole, cream cheese, strawberry jelly, butter in packets, and some other forgettable dollop. It was like they sourced it from the lobby of a 2-star hotel. It honestly felt like a prank when they brought the dish. To be fair, the bagel wasn’t bad and the server was nice.

I give it four stars only because I am energy sensitive, and the atmosphere can be challenging for me. The food and staff, however, are deserving of five stars. The portions are generous, and the food is of high quality—fresh, clean, and nourishing. The place feels family-owned, whether it is or not, and it's adorable and quaint. The atmosphere is attractive and clean, though a bit loud and with unusual spatial dynamics. They make the most of the small space, considering it's a busy corner on the boulevard.
