"I ordered a burger yesterday that cost over $6, and it was nowhere near what I expected for that price. It came with three mac and cheese bites on top, but the burger patty and cheese were of lower quality than what you’d find in a public school cafeteria. To top it off, there was just a tiny piece of bacon. I was really let down because their burgers always look so appetizing on their Facebook page. I also got a mini Blizzard, and while it’s fine that they put a lid on it, it was overfilled, causing it to spill out the sides and making it impossible to open without creating a huge mess. Overall, I’m very disappointed and won’t be returning."

"I recently visited Dairy Queen, and my experience was quite disappointing. The restaurant wasn't busy at all, yet I only received half of my order. I had ordered three Blizzards and two sundaes, but they were carelessly stacked on top of each other without a proper carrier. Only the sundaes came with lids, and when I asked for lids for my Blizzards, they just handed me the lids separately. Unfortunately, when I tried to put a lid on one of the Blizzards, the cup broke, spilling its contents all over my car. To make matters worse, when I tried to call the restaurant for help, they ignored all my calls. Overall, it was a very frustrating experience."

"We have enjoyed the DQ (Treat) and shortened menu. The BBQs are great! Anyone complaining would be welcomed at any other DQ to change the grease, scrub the grills and floors! Everyone wishes ALL DQs were open year round, but the shortened time they are open makes us treasure them more! (It has to do with their contracts) Very clean eating area inside and out. There are also picnic tables across the street in a park and beautiful areas through-out town to sit and eat."

"Our order was correct, but Dairy Queen is known for its high prices. I ordered a blizzard and noticed a tagline on the menu that said, "If we don't flip your blizzard, the next one is on you." I found it amusing since I had heard that phrase growing up but never really believed it. When I got to the window, the employee didn't flip my blizzard. I pointed it out to her, but she just laughed, closed the drive-thru window, and moved on to the next customer. I wasn't upset about not getting a free blizzard because I never truly thought it was genuine, but if it's advertised on the menu, they should honor their promotion with a bit more professionalism."

"This isn't my first time dining here. I came specifically for the chicken sandwiches and stripe fries. However, when I got home (just six blocks away) and unpacked my order, I was extremely disappointed. Everything was ice cold except for the fish sandwich, which was unacceptable. I called and spoke with the manager, who handled the situation directly with me. They promptly replaced my food, and the new order was excellent—just what I typically expect from DQ. I appreciate the manager's efforts to make things right. I've had great experiences at DQ before, which is why I'm giving this review five stars despite the initial setback."

"I am relatively new to Dairy Queen (DQ). I first started going to the one on Route 9 South and have been pleased with their service and what I have purchased. The other day, I stopped off to pick up something in Harbor Freight in Hazlet and upon leaving, decided to stop in DQ which was a few doors down. I should have turned around and left because as soon as I entered, there was a strong smell that reminded me of paint thinner or some other noxious smell. However, since I was already there, I decided to purchase a strawberry shake. Did I mention that no one greeted me, and the man who finally came acted as if he was doing me a favor. I could barely hear or understand him because he spoke so low. Once he took my order and prepared it, I had to ask him for whip cream because he certainly did not ask me if I wanted any. Additionally, I felt it was my due since the shake was so expensive. I hurriedly paid and left the store before I fainted from the fumes. When I got in my car and took a good look at my shake, it was 3/4 full with a small dollop of whip cream on top, and besides that, really watery. On top of that, it tasted so horrible that I threw it out! This was my first and last time patronizing this Hazlet DQ establishment and I can promise that I will never do so again. As a final note, I really don't understand why the gentleman hasn't been removed from working behind the counter, or at the very least, be made to attend customer service classes."

"The restaurant was extremely messy, and we found hair in our order. They mistakenly gave us two flamethrowers instead of one, and the food was cold and stale. Despite requesting no pickles, they added them to my daughter's sandwich and also messed up our order. This place is truly unclean; the staff often leaves their food on tables, making it difficult for customers to find a place to sit and eat. It's always dirty when we visit, and the staff is consistently impolite and has a bad attitude towards us. They were particularly rude, and we were disappointed to find out they didn’t have bananas for our banana split. The manager was disrespectful and dismissive, insisting he was right while we were wrong. I cannot recommend this place to anyone."

"The ice cream is fantastic, just like at any Dairy Queen. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, I was disheartened to witness the owner, or at least I think she is, treating her employees poorly. I overheard her reprimanding one of them, and it made me feel really uncomfortable. After that experience, I would reconsider returning to this location."

"I went to the Union Missouri Dairy Queen on March 25th, 2024. I ordered 4 orders of pretzel sticks and a large root beer and they only gave me 1 order of pretzel sticks and the large root beer, but when I went back around the 2nd time to try to get my other 3 orders of pretzel sticks, they only gave me 2 of the 3. I went to the drive through twice and they still didn't get my order right. Both times I got to the window, 1 of the kids working was just dancing around and a couple of the other kids working was laughing and joking around. If I'm being honest here, they need to be retrained or fired. I wasn't happy, and will not be going back to the Union location again. Even though I live in Union, I will be taking my business to the Washington Missouri location."
