"Nice seating area inside and outside of the restaurant. They offer a large variety of basic pizzeria items. I ordered grilled chicken salad. The salad was fresh, but the chicken was super dry. More like bread crumbs. Very courteous counter clerk/server. They do seem like having the equipment to bake nice Neapolitan pizza. Not sure why they don't? About 25% expensive."

"I ordered a gold fever wrap. I received a chicken caesar wrap.I called the establishment and told them the issue and all they did was argue with me and refuse to give me a refund. I then asked if they would send out another. They ended up sending me outANOTHER chicken Caesar wrap. Here is the proof. I could not eat the food because Cesar makes me sick and it was bad enough thatI already took a bite and they would not give me a refund. You should never order from this company. They were extremely rude tome and wanted me to bring the wrap by tomorrow and pick it out of the trash so I could get my money back."

"I recently dined at Polcaris’s the restaurant came highly recommended. While the ambiance was charming and the service attentive, I was disappointed with the shrimp pasta special. The dish arrived looking appetizing, with a generous portion of shrimp atop a bed of perfectly al dente pasta. However, upon taking my first bite, it was clear that the shrimp had been overcooked. They were tough and lacked the succulent, tender texture that makes shrimp such a delight in Italian cuisine. This unfortunately overshadowed the otherwise well-prepared components of the dish. The sauce was flavorful, and the pasta was cooked to perfection, but the overcooked shrimp left much to be desired. Given the price point and the restaurant's reputation, I had expected better execution on such a staple dish. Despite this setback, the rest of the meal was enjoyable. The appetizers and dessert were excellent, and the wine selection was impressive. I hope they are able to addresses this issue, as it has the potential to be an outstanding dining experience with a few adjustments. Other than that, the pizza is good!"

"I ordered a pizza and 6 slices of carrot cake. The pizza was delicious, but the wings were not so great. I tried one and it tasted old. I called to let them know and they said they had been sitting out all day without apologizing. I told them I only had one wing and they still refused to make it right. Terrible way to treat a customer. I will definitely not be going back. Not a good look for a business that wants to stay in business."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The customer service was poor; they didn’t follow instructions and didn’t check the orders properly. There are no refunds, no apologies, and no efforts to make up for any mistakes. I visited three times, and each experience was worse than the last. The first time, my cheese was missing; the second time, my fries were mixed with two different cheeses; and on my third visit, while I finally received the correct fries, there was still no soda and no refund offered. My husband and I have decided not to return. This place on Ogontz is a letdown."

"Unfortunately, this restaurant deserves 1 star. We love the food, but the management is horrible. EVERY time we have ordered, there has been an issue. The first time, we went to pick it up for a party and were told they accidentally gave it away to someone else. We had to wait around 15 minutes and were given a free garlic knot coupon as compensation. We weren't too upset that time because they were nice. However, the next time we ordered the same thing happened. We went, and our order was nowhere to be found. The next time we ordered, they got our order wrong. We ordered garlic knots and got a meat pizza slice instead. The last time we ordered, we ordered an hour and a half ahead for a party of 20 people. We ordered 4 pizzas. When they got there, we were told they accidentally burned one pizza. We asked for the other 3 in the mean time since we had 20 people waiting. They told us no, which lead us to believe that the pizza was not burned but instead was either never made or given out to the wrong person again. We were then told that they would make it and deliver it for free, since we are literally walking distance away. Somehow this took 45 minutes. I was on the phone with the manager and all they could offer me was we don't know what happened and we'll take good care of you next time A mistake once is one thing, but every time is just careless. We definitely will not be ordering from here again."

"We usually order take out here bc we have a very talkative/ rambunctious toddler. We decided to try eating in this time. The waitress we had was extremely kind. We didn’t have to ask for anything. She anticipated what we needed and was very mindful of our toddler at the table. Food was good and the portions are big enough to have another meal at home. "The food at Alba's is always amazing! The daughter with the lovely smile will tell you she's a bit spoiled, but the meals are consistently fresh. However, I'm frustrated that my condiments keep getting forgotten. I ordered a salad and paid extra for dressing, but when I opened the bag, there was no dressing at all. "Nice place to eat. Servers were very nice but didn't appreciate being sat next to a table that brought their dogs into the restaurant. They fed them when servers were out of sight. I support anyone who needs a service/companion animal. That's what they are trained for and they are to aid the person not be treated like babies in a stroller. If your pets can't be left for a few hours while you go out to eat maybe you should consider take out. There are health codes that need to be followed to ensure health and safety of everyone. What if someone at my table had allergies to dogs? We were not told they were seated near us. I've worked in food service and am aware of guidelines that need to be followed by owners and patrons. Have some consideration for others when you decide to take your pet out. I am a pet owner and don't expect others to feel the same way about my pet as I do. I love him and spend time with him in our own environment."

"I called the restaurant to explain the situation, but they dismissed my concerns and said, “Oh, we’ll refund you next time; just let us know.” I took the cup back to the restaurant to show them the soup. The staff member cringed when he smelled it too, but instead of addressing my concern, he started yelling at me as if I were the problem. If you own a food service establishment and someone brings a serious issue like this to your attention, you should be alarmed, not defensive. It was clear that something had gone horribly wrong with my soup. Honestly, I wish there were a better way to hold the entire staff accountable instead of just writing this review, but it seems that’s not the case. I cannot emphasize enough how terrible that soup was. Do not eat here! I will never return!"

"We specifically went to Polcari’s to get their chicken fra diavolo and they don’t offer it any longer. In fact, their menu was downsized and quite a few meals they no longer offer such as the shrimp fra diavolo, chicken cavatapi, chicken soltimbocca, mussels and a few others. If it wasn’t for our fabulous waitress, Jennifer, we would have left. She was professional, friendly and accommodating. I got the grilled chicken salad because there was nothing on the menu I liked. They use to have a big menu with quite a few different options. Along with their lousy menu, the atmosphere has changed. It looks like a bar inside not the Italian ambiance of an iconic Italian Restaurant. If I wanted a bar type restaurant, I’d go to the Yard House. I saw 2 other parties sit down, then all of a sudden they got up and left. I heard they weren’t happy with the menu either."
