"Steve mentioned that the pizza was being prepared due to the delay. However, the BBQ Chicken Pizza was made with Marinara sauce and BBQ sauce, and it just didn’t taste good. When Steve came over to check on us, we expressed our dissatisfaction with the pizza. He said he was in the process of fixing it and asked if we would like something else on the house. My wife, after hesitating because of the slow service, ordered nachos, and Steve assured us he would take care of it. The nachos arrived promptly.
However, when the bill came, it included the pizza but charged us for the nachos. We inquired about the charge, and the waitress informed us that Steve had left and she would get a manager. The manager, Albert, approached us rudely, asking, "What’s the problem?" When we explained the situation, he seemed unconcerned and simply said, "That’s what Steve told me, that’s your bill," before walking away. He clearly had no intention of addressing our concerns and came across as quite unprofessional.
At the end of our visit, the waitress mentioned, "Yes... I'm looking for another place to work," which was telling of the overall atmosphere. As a local entrepreneur, I can’t imagine treating customers this way and expecting to stay in business. It was a terrible experience for my family, and we will certainly share our story with friends and anyone else to steer clear of Rookies."
