"Located in a strip mall, Greystoke Grill is a hidden gem in the Valley. It has an old school diner type of feeling and that's because it's been around for 40 years! I love the decor and its prime location found parking easily on site. Immediately upon entering, our party of 5 was greeted with a big smile and quickly seated. I personally loved the variety in their breakfast menu. I got to try a little bit of everything since all ordered different items. The Huevos a La Mexicana are superb! They had jalapeno but it wasn't overwhelming or too spicy; just right. Their homestyle potatoes are well seasoned and addicting! Their toast and coffee was on point, and our server did an excellent job in ensuring our mugs were never empty. We finished with a breakfast dessert of pancakes with whip cream and chocolate syrup topped with strawberries and bananas. Needless to say, our group devoured the whole thing! Overall, this place is an excellent establishment. I love that it's been under new ownership for over 5 years, because it shows! Staff is super attentive, courteous and the food was reasonably priced and large portions. Two thumbs up!!!"

"The food, the service and the ambience was wonderful. We were greeted promptly and the seating allowed separation and privacy. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and personable. He had knowledge of the menu items along with the new specials. The portions were adequate and the presentation was nice. They even had a guitarist playing some music in the background without interfering with conversation. All in all, a great experience which I will repeat and which I can highly recommend to others."

"I ordered the birria quesadilla, which was a generous size for me. It had a bit of spice, so be cautious if you don't handle heat well, but it was extra cheesy and absolutely delicious. The servers, all women, were sweet and attentive. My mother tried the tacos de chivo and really enjoyed them, which is unusual for her since she rarely likes restaurant food. She commented on how delicious and flavorful the salsa was. The only reason I rated the atmosphere a 4 instead of a 5 was that the air conditioning had a bit of an unpleasant smell, so we moved to a different area. Aside from that, we definitely got our money's worth; the food was tasty, the music was enjoyable, and the decor was fantastic. Plus, the location is now much larger!"

"I ordered their chicken Chile Relleno (my favorite dish) and was amazed with the overall unique flavor. Just, wow. My husband had their shrimp fajitas. Which is a big deal because he usually sticks to basic chicken and doesn't bother with the onions and peppers that come with it. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our food and drinks came out faster than expected. The customer service was fantastic everyone was so warm welcoming. Even the music was on point. We definitely enjoyed ourselves. This was our first visit and will not be our last!"

"The atmosphere and menu at this restaurant are excellent. We started with the baby carrots, roasted beets, and brussel sprouts as appetizers, which were all delicious. The drinks from the bar were expertly made, and I especially enjoyed my old fashioned and its presentation. For our main courses, we tried the chickpea falafel and the shrimp enchiladas, both of which were amazing. The coconut rice served as a great side dish. Some of the dishes had a bit of heat, so make sure to inform the staff when ordering. I would definitely recommend The Junction."

"from a gracious reception to excellent service during the meal, this was a first-class culinary experience. the fishtacos were prepared deliciously with red snapper, instead of more common offspring. the grinding time was filled with a melt-in-your-mouth cheesecake disc. excellent meal."

"When they first opened, I ordered a shrimp burrito through UberEats. It was nothing exciting, I didn't even consider reordering. Cut to, a couple years later, a friend and I looking around for something to eat. We decided against literally everything else on Parsons. Looking in their window, he saw they had birria tacos and wanted to try. We usually get tacos from Maya Taco down on Jamaica, but didn't feel like taking the walk. When we went in, the counter woman was wiping down the dining area. When this space was a chicken spot, there was more seating and front room space. Now the dining area consists of a low counter facing the picture window. Maybe they needed more kitchen space. They sell canned soda and Jaritos. They also have fresh lemonade, Jamaica and horchata in counter top juice dispensers. There was no one else inside when we went in, but as soon as we started looking over the menu, so many delivery drivers came in to pick up orders! We got a couple birria, a chorizo, shrimp and a chicken tacos. Everything was ridiculously flavorful. We enjoyed the taste so much that we immediately ran out for a couple more birria. The birria tacos don't come with consommé. Which is odd to me. They do come with a green or red salsa and a guacamole sauce. The guac sauce is completely tasteless. The pepper sauces are savory and spicy but not inedible. Homemade Taqueria has become my go-to spot for tacos. I've also had their beef and chicken empanadas. The chicken was good, beef was a little off. I haven't tried the rest of the menu, but it looks promising."

"We came here after my daughters U of M graduation ceremony and had a table for 10. Service was good, no problems at all taking care of our group. We had appetizers and entrees and some of us ordered beer. Everything came out timely, food was hot, beer was cold...what more can you ask for! The inside of the restaurant was rustic and casual which was perfect for our needs. Will definitely be back!"

"Fantastic authentic Mexican cuisine reminiscent of the 20 years we spent in Texas. While their website could use some improvement, as the online menu isn't very helpful and there's no option for online ordering, the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating when it comes to takeout orders. They were our go-to spot throughout the pandemic. The restaurant itself is also a lovely place to dine. Don't miss out on the fried ice cream for dessert! Highly recommend this place!"

"Brunch was delicious and the overall atmosphere is fun and lively. However, servers were impatient, and rushed guests through the brunch. Additionally, there was no indication of a $12 minimum for food orders (which was only conditional to those ordering bottomless brunch). Moreover, our server gave us lipstick stained drinking glasses, and did not apologise when we politely requested for a cleaner glass. She was rude and hasty with the food service, and approached us 3 4 times to leave the table for the next party, (who had not arrived until much later). I would not anticipate prepping the next party 's table would take a considerable amount of time, as the table only seated a party of 4 and simply needed to be wiped down. All in all, tasty brunch options, bright and aesthetically pleasing decor and fun vibe, but service could be better and pricing conditions for brunch could be more explicitly stated on the menu or explained to guests via phone when making the booking ahead of time."

"I bought food here for to-go this week while I was waiting, I sat down in one of their chairs. (Nobody was there but me and a few people, there was a lot of empty chairs). I even left a good tip. They didn?t want me to sit down in any of their chairswhile waiting and told me I have to wait on the side. Food is great but service was bad."
"This restaurant offers fantastic traditional Mexican cuisine. As expected, the dishes tend to be heavy and a bit oily, but they are incredibly flavorful and generous in portion sizes. The Mushrooms and Avocado Burrito was stuffed with plenty of mushrooms and avocado, which was a pleasant surprise since many places skimp on those ingredients these days. The staff member at the counter was also very friendly."

"This has been one of or possibly my favorite restaurants in BloNo. We haven't been in a few months and were excited to see the new menu until we saw the prices. I am not one to shy away from higher prices, but it seems as though all menu items have increased dramatically. (Knowing the cost of specific items shows how often we eat there. ; The food and service were still good, but the prices did not reflect what we had grown accustomed to and felt was a really fair value. All things said and done this is still a great place to eat, however not frequently."

"This place offers an impressive takeout experience for lunch, with excellent food and service! The atmosphere is inviting, making it a pleasant spot to consider for your meal. If you’re vegetarian, there are some good options available, but it’s worth checking the menu. Plus, there's plenty of free parking, making it easy to stop by. Overall, a great choice!"

"This is a fantastic spot for gluten-free dining! I deducted one star because the 3 Piece Fried Chicken was extremely dry and nearly inedible. I had to smother it in ketchup and BBQ sauce just to get it down."

"I am so happy that Avila's is open again for dinner in! I had lunch there today. They don't have the full menu available yet, it's best to ask about any favorite dish. First come first serve for tables, but they have plenty. The salsa is as good as I remember, and the chicken soup is just the best. Full bar and great margaritas. Always a great spot. Highly recommend. Only downside, the proteins are not well seasoned. Great if you're in a low salt diet, but otherwise you may need to salt up your food."

"Just as I remember it...we used to live in Alphabet City several years ago and have missed our go to spot in the neighborhood. After going back there recently it's as good as we remember which makes us sad for not having it around the corner still. Great margaritas and the tacos and steak dishes are the best. Great spot."
