"my favorite is sushi, so I'm constantly on and out of new places, but that was one of the best places in ann arbor I tried. friendly staff, good eating and the atmosphere is beautiful with many vegan options. it is one of the only places I found with really tasteful ramen that is vegan. it was my first time today with my friend and I have a feeling, we will return here religiously."

"The phrase hidden gem has been way overused....and I 'm gonna use it again. Sushi Dragon is a hidden gem. I have driven by literally hundreds of times and never even saw the restaurant, despite having been told about their excellent sushi many times by Elite Yelper Gary I. It 's tucked away in a strip mall (huge parkng lot in back btw) with no flashing lights or big signs out in front. It 's easy to miss; but once you 've dined here, it 's unforgettable. The three of us sat at the sushi bar. If you 're a regular, they will apparantly store your favorite sake in a special locker. Gary I kindly shared his delicous sake with us, as well as some delicous dishes Chef whipped up using ingredients brought in by Gary himself (clam sushi and anglerfish liver). I then went with omakase and loved every morsel of some incredibly fresh sushi.Chef clearly has devoted fans. Other patrons had driven from the South Bay area for his sushi and lots of regulars stopped by. I can see why; I 'll be back for sure."

"Food: 5 The food was all very delicious! The udon noodles were made and cooked perfectly. We enjoyed various udon bowls, including their white wine clam sauce, their duck broth, and their beef with fluffy egg. We also got their signature uni cream udon, which we liked it but not as much as we expected to. The uni is cooked so it has a milder flavor and firmer texture rather than the creamier texture you may have in sushi, and the cream sauce is decadent but quite heavy. We also enjoyed their karaage and assorted tempura which were both masterfully fried and delicious. Service: 5 We arrived at 11:30am on a Tuesday and waited about 15-20 minutes. You can put your name on a waitlist outside the restaurant, but you must have your whole party there and can’t wander away since they call your name manually. We had a very attentive and kind waiter! Atmosphere: 5 Great vibes overall. You can venture to the back of the restaurant to watch them prepare the food if you’re interested!"

"This spot is not fancy or gourmet in any way, but the food is consistently good and the price is more than fair. They have a large selection of Japanese foods like ramen, udon, sushi, katsu, curry, and donburi bowls. Overall, the food has been quite good. It's not amazing like Fukada or Sagami, but it's also quite a bit less expensive than those two spots. So what I'm saying is in terms of price versus value, it's good. And it's pretty fast, making it good when you're in a rush."

"One of my favorite spots to dine in Concord! This restaurant is perfect if you're looking for an affordable lunch or dinner. It's a casual yet charming place, with outdoor seating available as well. The service is quick and friendly, which is a big plus. My kids absolutely adore the chicken teriyaki; we always make sure to order it when we visit. One of my personal favorites is the Saba nigiri—it’s also a must-have for me! Plus, you never have to worry about asking for water; they keep it filled for you!"

"They dont let you know that the food you are ordering is raw. I understand nigiri is raw fish. But you dont let your customers know which fish is cooked. I accidently ate raw fish and im having an allergic reaction and may need to go to the hospital now. If the fish is raw you need to state that. Also the beef was dry. And the chicken sauce just tastes like spicy mayo. Really expecting more after spending $33. Bento usually has bean shoots and all the trimmings. This had only a salad, rice and uncooked peas. You can literally see how dry the beef is in the picture"

"Delicious and authentic Japanese comfort food in Peoria. The food was outstanding however our server kept forgetting stuff he forgot the Sake, forgot the Ramune soda, forgot the wasabi and ginger… seriously, it was annoying. The place could use some decor, a couple of walls seem really bare. There is a large TV though, and they had the playoffs showing so that’s cool for sports fans. Regardless, I’d definitely go back for the food but avoid that server. The food is worth it, we had the seafood yaki soba ramen, creamy veggie ramen, pork fried rice, chicken curry katsu, dragon roll and mochi for dessert. The dragon roll was amazing largest pieces of eel I’ve ever had on a roll!"

"Came here expecting a normal sushi experience. I ordered California Rolls, Spider Rolls, Eel Rolls among others dishes for my date. Very disappointing. The Eel Rolls came with a tiny piece of Eel inside the roll (smaller than an eraser head). At other restaurants there's a large piece on top of the rice. Same with every other piece of sushi. Sauces were given VERY sparingly. Was afraid to ask for more, but I did anyway. Price wasn't too bad, but it was like they were filling you up with rice. I wouldn't recommend. Spent close to $50, won't be coming back."

"I was in San Francisco for a week to attend a conference. I ate here three times during the week. The location is close to the conference center. The sushi burritos reminded me of the rice balls and rice triangles I would eat when I lived in Japan and Korea. The curry was good as well. The location is in a food court so the atmosphere is what it is. I highly recommend this for a lunch spot."

"We've been dining at Zen Toro since their downtown location, then followed them to Davis. The owner, Masa and his wife were always so friendly and accommodating....Not to mention that the food was always Excellent! Now their son Scott and his wife Amy run the restaurant and continue to deliver Delicious food. We live in Sacramento and never hesitate to drive to Davis to eat at Zen Toro when we're in the mood for delicious Japanese food!!"

"Moon Cafe has become a staple to my diet during my last four years in Ann Arbor. Whether it's the impulse Moon Collider or weekly Japchae order in between my classes or the Dukbokki Udon on a cold winter night, I have always been comforted and satisfied with the food here. In addition, the owners are so kind and hard-working. 10/10 establishment and will continue going here until I graduate and any time I visit."
