"I haven't been to an Indian Buffet since way before the pandemic, so now that this buffet is open, here we go. First off, wow, the price sure has gone up! It's $15 for the lunch buffet now! I never paid that much, but I guess prices are up all over. The big Chinese buffet in town is $14, so I guess that's the price of buffets now. Parking is open but a little weird, but just park on the empty lot and cross the curb to the door. The place looks better on the inside than on the outside for sure. Plenty of open seating inside. I was surprised how small the buffet was, just one small line of steam tables, but I guess maybe there's not that much variety in Indian buffets. They did have what I came for though, and that's the Tandoori Chicken! Most of the other offerings besides the Tikka Masala and basmati rice, I'll pass on ... not the most appetizing looking stuff I've seen. But I'll tell you what, that was the best tasting Tandoori Chicken I ever had at a buffet! It was so tender your teeth just sank in and pulled away effortlessly. The flavor was right on as well. I did like that they included thighs and drumsticks. Not like some Indian buffets, serving just the weird back and boney pieces and saving the good pieces for the ala carte dinner menu. I got my fill of chicken so I guess the price was worth it. Nice hot naan was brought to my table too. Drinks included with this buffet, soda, mango lasse and hot Cha. The Tikka Masala was good flavored, but the white meat chicken in it was a little dry, but that's white meat for ya. Poured over rice, the Tikka was very good. I'll come back here sometime. But I can't help think, the big Chinese buffet for a buck less you get way more selection of food ..... but you can get Tandoori Chicken there!"

"Service was outstanding! The staff was so busy on a Saturday night and took every group in order. The wait was 30 minutes but service was quick and friendly. They made sure everyone was treated well and checked in. The restaurant itself is fairly large with nice booth seating and quite comfy. Even the bathrooms were clean despite a busy night. The food is 3/5 stars. The naan was very thick and slightly undercooked. The papadum wasn't served with tamarind chutney. The paneer masala was very very oily. The spice level was right but most other places serve rice with entrees. We had great servers who asked if we were okay moving for a larger group and offered rice and dessert as compensation. However, they need to use less oil and cook the naan well even if it's busy. To be honest, the servers are the reason this place is still running and are the best servers I've had at a restaurant."

"They are DISHONEST and will SCAM you if you let them. BE VERY CAREFUL.Today, 03/25/2023, on third day of the Holy Ramadan, my wife and I went to Bismillah to get Iftaar take out (6pm). After they billed me, we saw that they were overpriced by $8. We challenged them twice, but they denied. They even did some calculation on the calculator and told us we were wrong. We ended up opening up the iftaar boxes, and after a tedious process, finally they realized their mistake. We could understand, we can all make mistakes while fasting. Unfortunately, rather than apologizing, they were very rude during the rest of the billing process.Their name may be Bismillah , but they are expert at ripping off the trusting bengali community of south-east michigan. Such a shame!"

"I was searching for a restaurant with a full Halal menu for my team's end of the year dinner, and this restaurant was the closest one with an all Halal menu nearby. I must say that they need to work on fixing the decor and lighting as it was very dull. The waiter also needs some training as he didn't quite understand our order the first time. However, the freshness and quality of the food were outstanding. The portion sizes were a lot smaller than expected for the price. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant based on the portion sizes, ambiance, and service."

"The food was delicious and prepared happily to our level of spice tolerance. Service was great with very friendly staff who clearly wanted us to have a wonderful experience. The Rosemary naan was amazing. And all of our dishes were so good. Will definitely return."

"We went to the restaurant only to discover that it was no longer in operation. It was closed, and the neighboring people informed us that it had moved. As a result, we ended up eating at Fratelli instead. I believe OpenTable should still give me my 100 points since the restaurant was closed and no longer in operation."

"I visited this restaurant on a Sunday morning after being invited by a friend to celebrate my birthday. He had been recommending this place for a while and urged me to try it out. They offer an all-you-can-eat champagne brunch buffet on weekends. While the champagne may not be top-notch, the bubbly and festive atmosphere made up for it. The hostess kept our glasses constantly filled, perhaps thinking we were on a date as she always smiled at us. Maybe it was because of her limited English, but I appreciated her hospitality. The buffet spread included a variety of dishes such as Lamb Saga, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Curry. The food was delicious and spicy, which I enjoyed. It was one of the best Indian all-you-can-eat buffets I've experienced. The price was around $10-$12 per person, which I found to be very reasonable. I was so impressed that I recommended it to my sister and her family. They offer a $2 off coupon for the champagne brunch on their website, which Chinese parents will appreciate. The restaurant also has its own underground parking garage, making it convenient to visit."

"Oh my goodness!! This restaurant is absolutely delicious! I eat Indian cuisine often, and this is by far one of my favorite places! The service is remarkable! Tanya was so nice and took great care of me! Her recommendations were spot on! The Chicken Tikka was well balanced and spiced to perfection. The Tandoori Shrimp was crispy yet juicy and succulent. The Naan is to die for! I even ordered dessert! I’m a boy from the south, the rice pudding reminded me of my grandmother’s southern dessert. If you love Indian food, this is the place to go LA! Until next time!!"

"I feel that the one-star review is unfair, as a rating was necessary to continue. My reservation was made through Open Table for Mother's Day. Unfortunately, upon arrival, we found that the restaurant was not open. Despite the tables being set, it appeared that they were not open permanently. It is puzzling why Open Table allows reservations for a restaurant that is closed. Looking back, I should have checked the restaurant's website more thoroughly, as it clearly states that they are closed on Sundays. As a result, we had to dine at a diner instead."
