"Wow! Living in the Midwest I don 't get seafood this fresh and Shells doesn 't disappoint! Our server Bailey, is friendly and personable. She showed true interest in us and helped us navigate the menu to pick the best dishes for us. I asked what she would order and she recommended: Fresh Mahi Mahi Felix topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and roasted red peppers in a lobster cream sauce. Served with seasoned rice over vegetable medley. (Pictured) I was not disappointed, I am still so full an hour after eating while writing this. Thank you Bailey, perfect choice! I think this should be called The Bailey Special My wife got the Baby Lobster Pasta, Succulent baby lobster tails tossed with linguine in lobster cream sauce. She was blown away and the sauce could be a soup! Our son ubered us so we could enjoy the bar, we started off with a Mojito (wife) (which the bartender didn 't know how to make but got it pretty close) I got the house margarita with a sugar rim, very good. We then switched gears to an Island Breeze (AMAZING! Light and refreshing like the name suggests and my drink the Rum Punch was true to its name too as it felt like I got punched in the face rum, not a bad thing! Atmosphere is light and approximately themed, everything looked and smelled clean. We don 't live here, but if we return we will be back! If you read this far please go visit, I 'm sure your experience will be as great as ours. Thank you to everyone at Shells who made our evening wonderful."

"Went once about a year ago and the food wasn’t all that great. Figured I’d give it a second chance and regret doing so.While the pizzas themselves, the meat lovers and the primavera, were good flavor wise and had a generous amount of toppings, the crust just wasn’t hitting. Tastes like it either comes frozen or they make it, freeze it then use it when needed. Doesn’t look like a “fresh” made crust and was suspiciously perfectly round to be fresh made. Last time we got food we got a Sicilian pie and I watched them take pre-made crust out and use it for my pizza. Gave them the benefit of the doubt that they only used it for the Sicilian, but I truly don’t think that’s the case. For what we paid, there are better pizza places in town and only went to Midtown because our normal place was closed and wanted to give them a second chance.I will say, the fries I ordered were very good and you get a huge portion for the price. Give that classic Boardwalk Fries vibe and would be great with salt and vinegar.Hoping they can improve their crust for future customers, as we more than likely won’t be returning.EDIT: if this was an “intentional bad review” I wouldn’t have said the pizzas were good other than the crust. The pizzas were not made in front of me, as I placed the order, left and then came back to pick them up. As I said, flavor was good, topping were generous, but the crust just doesn’t taste like it’s fresh in my opinion."
