"Wow! Living in the Midwest I don 't get seafood this fresh and Shells doesn 't disappoint! Our server Bailey, is friendly and personable. She showed true interest in us and helped us navigate the menu to pick the best dishes for us. I asked what she would order and she recommended: Fresh Mahi Mahi Felix topped with jumbo lump crabmeat and roasted red peppers in a lobster cream sauce. Served with seasoned rice over vegetable medley. (Pictured) I was not disappointed, I am still so full an hour after eating while writing this. Thank you Bailey, perfect choice! I think this should be called The Bailey Special My wife got the Baby Lobster Pasta, Succulent baby lobster tails tossed with linguine in lobster cream sauce. She was blown away and the sauce could be a soup! Our son ubered us so we could enjoy the bar, we started off with a Mojito (wife) (which the bartender didn 't know how to make but got it pretty close) I got the house margarita with a sugar rim, very good. We then switched gears to an Island Breeze (AMAZING! Light and refreshing like the name suggests and my drink the Rum Punch was true to its name too as it felt like I got punched in the face rum, not a bad thing! Atmosphere is light and approximately themed, everything looked and smelled clean. We don 't live here, but if we return we will be back! We were the first couple in at 4pm. Food was excellent and service. My dish was Salmon Felix and my husband had 8oz sirloin with 2 shrimp skewers added on.

Everything was good! The prices are decent. The service was a little slow, but they had little staff. Variety of food options. You also have a little happy hour drink menu.

Was not my best experience. My shrimp in my pasta had shells on it. My partners meal has mushrooms, though we requested non. Will give them another chance but the other two locations have been better. Our waitress was great though.

Amazing staff, delicious food, fun atmosphere. I'm so glad we found this place! We make it a pile! The Clam Chowder is the best I ever had! Our fantastic water Rodney gave us great dinner suggestions. Margaritas were the bomb!!! We'll be back. View menu

beer only for $4. also we had deliciously steamed garnel as an appetizer. my man had the beginning of the day with rice and vegetables. I had a Cesar salad with grilled salmon upstairs. I asked for my dressing on one side. it was a great experience

Food and service was delightful. The crabcakes were delicious. I gave it 4 stars because the fish could've used a little more season and the linguini was very salty. Our waiter (Ronnie) was fantastic and I loved the way all of the wait staff work together to make sure you have a pleasant experience. Although there were a couple of misses, we will be back to try it again.

Went to Shells for my 64th birthdayHad the seafood pasta… it should be called, Seafood Delight! It was packed full of seafood and was delicious. If I didn’t know better I would have thought the sauce was made with butter, but it’s not. So rich and buttery tasting and silky smooth. Shells is a popular seafood chain across Florida. This location is in Brandon, FL. The decor of the restaurant was nice, clean, and welcoming. Our staff was friendly, and took a short time preparing our food. The shrimp and carb dip is a must get here! The dip has lots of flavor, gooey, and great to eat! Had the right amounts of chunk too. I also liked the shrimp and scallops pasta. The pasta was good. It was angel hair, and it had good flavors. Overall, would definitely recommend checking out! Would be a much better alternative to Red Lobster.

This restaurant far exceeded our expectations regarding service and food expectations. Bailey was our waitress and was an exceptional example of an exceptional customer service. She was knowledgeable and always on our needs. We never had to ask for the filling of our drinks or ask for additional services. She was always attentive. The rest of the staff was also exceptional. The waiters would put the food in the kitchen and immediately after we got our order. All foods are professionally prepped and present extraordinary presentation.
