"I enjoy the food at this restaurant and would like to visit more often. However, their closing times are inconsistent and they seem to close whenever they feel like it. The sign on their window indicates they close at 9:30pm, but my husband and I have encountered multiple instances where this was not the case. Once we arrived at around 8:30pm to find out they were already closed. Another time, as we were heading to Subway next door at 8:45pm, we witnessed a server peek through the window, quickly lock the door, and turn off the open sign. It was clear they didn't want any more customers for the night. Tonight, I placed a mobile order at 8:40pm and it went through, but shortly after receiving a call from the restaurant informing me they had closed for the day. They explained that due to slow business, they decided to close early even though their usual closing time is 9:30pm. There have been instances where my mobile orders were rejected as well. I believe if they have turned my husband and I away multiple times, there are likely others facing the same issue. This inconsistent behavior reflects poorly on their business practices. If they consistently need to close early, they should consider changing their hours for reliability. I am now hesitant to return and deal with this ongoing issue. It's already challenging enough to decide on a restaurant with my family, but to be turned away because the business closed earlier than posted is frustrating."

"I really like this restaurant. I don't come as often anymore because of some stomach problems but that's my personal problems. However, the food here is really really good. I have brought my mom here tons of times, and they even came with my cousin once, and a friend. Since turning 21 I have also had the pleasure to enjoy their cocktail menu, which is really delicious. I recommend the Hawaiian lemonade. It's probably my favorite drink to order. Also like that, they let you order out drinks as long as you come and show your ID, which is really nice when you want to have takeout but you also want some alcohol. I normally order a shrimp, tempura roll and steak hibachi. I recently also ordered their chicken wings with sweet chili sauce, which is also a really good dish. I recommend the food it's always fire every time I go. The ambience of the restaurant is really really nice. I love the decor and the music that's always playing. I will say that the restaurant really isn't made for a lot of people because the food always comes out slow even though there's never a full restaurant."

"I was in Scottsdale on business and found Gheisha A Go Go in a travel guide. Much to my surprise it was cool place and not a tourist trap. The Pikachu cocktail and Racer X roll are must try. I was a bit disappointed that the Hello Kitty cocktail was not very exciting. I ordered it simply becuase it was called the Hello Kitty : This is a great happy hour spot with half price drinks and appetizers. I went two days in a row and the service is hit or miss. One day it's great, the next so so but this servers are pretty enough to be forgiven I guess. At anyrate, definately check this place out when in Scottsdale. Wish there was one in or near DC."

"This is my first 1-star review I have ever written, but given our experience it was really justified. We came with our family of 4 and ordered more than $100 food. Our children were loud, we decided to go. It took 40 minutes to get it.. I saw the food coming on plates, and the server uses mere hands to transfer to Togo containers. We came home and had several roles that we did not order, and our main entrée Huhn terriyaki was missing together with a few other items that we asked.. the stuff we got was not to cheat and has a little taste. The reels were overcrowded and all pushed together, basically insensitive. I really think our money has been completely wasted. We threw everything out and ordered pizza. Very frustrating experience when you? ve got hungry children asleep, like a diner in general. I read the previous negative reviews and wanted to give him a chance, but wow, terrible experience. Cannot recommend"

"Love the food! I daydream about dill dip! I must admit I was a bit devistated when the menu was cut, changed etc some time ago. However, everything I have tried on the menu since all my 'go to food ' and favourites have disappeared, has been delicious!! I have a vegetarian daughter, and a vegetarian best friend and the no stress no worry menu you accommodate them with is also THEE BEST! Last night I ur server was delightful, I wish I knew her name as she needs to know she is an amazing server. My only suggestion would be to add a side option to the Bacon jalapeño mac and cheese. The price doesn 't reflect the portion size and I needed to order a side so my son wasn 't still hungry. Otherwise keep up the greatness that keeps me coming back!"

"The food at this restaurant was excellent and delicious. I ordered the Godzilla Baba, while my friend had a curry. Unfortunately, his curry was served about 10 minutes before my sushi, making for a slightly awkward wait for him to start eating. However, our server was very friendly and pleasant. "The food can be good, but the service is some of the worst you'll ever get. Wait time for your food can be extreme. It's also the kind of place where, if you order a bowl of rice, and there's only about a half a bowl's worth left in the rice cooker, they'll scoop out every last hard bit and stick the little wave-shaped blob of rice in your bowl instead of making more rice. This has happened multiple times. I've never walked by this place without seeing a help wanted sign. Someone please help them. Please."

"Regardless of where you go, Original Joe's always provides consistent food. Though their menu items change every so often (some new items better than others), the staple dishes remain.I ordered the Beef Dip with my two sides being Sweet Potato Fries and Coleslaw.The Beef Dip was very good. The bun was perfectly toasted, the flavourful beef piled up high and just the right amount of cheese, onions and mushrooms. The horseradish mayo complimented the Beef Dip perfectly. It was very tasty and if you have a big appetite, it was quite filling. The Sweet Potato Fries were very good, as usual. The only disappointment was the Coleslaw. It was extremely bland. It had no flavour at all and was on the dry side. I will not order it as a side again. The service was ok and the prices were good, for the quality of food you get."

"We came to this place with a large party since we were in the area. Reviews weren't the best but we decided to give it a try anyways. We can now see why the reviews for this place are not so good, and can confirm the bad ones are very true. When we saw this place on Yelp, we liked what we saw on the menu. There was a good variety of ramen and sushi so we were looking forwarding to giving it a try. We called ahead for our large party and we're told they could accommodate us if we came. We decided to try it out. When we arrived with our party, we were told by the owner that they only had chicken ramen and a little bit of sushi from the menu. First off, what kind of restaurant would only have a few things on the menu available? And wouldn't you tell that to people who called before they drove to the restaurant so they would know what to expect?We discussed amongst the group for a few minutes and then decided we no longer wanted to eat there since we didn't want chicken ramen and whatever they had left over for sushi. While we were discussing, one of the kids in our group used the restroom thinking that we were going to eat there. Apparently, the owner yelled at the child and demanded that she pay $5 for using the restroom. First off, there were no signs posted saying the restroom was for customers only. Secondly, we were going to eat there until she told us they didn't have any food so why would you deny a child bathroom access and then yell at the child and demand $5 for using the restroom. Lastly, when my wife went in there to see why she was demanding $5 from the child, she told the owner to stop yelling at and addressing the child because she was a minor. The owner continued yelled at my wife saying the bathroom was for customers only (even though there was no sign), and demanded $5, and then proceeded to yell at my wife and tell her it was her fault the child was so rude and would use the bathroom even though she wasn't a customer. At this point, we just were in shock. How can a person like this run an establishment to service customers? My advice is to stay away from this place. The owner is rude and unstable and they don't normally have what's in their menu."

"Second visit to the business. Did not disappoint. My shrimp chow mein was very tasty although I would have preferred more veggies. And the egg rolls were good, a bit over fried. My son enjoyed his steak bowl but being a teenager, it was not enough so he finished up my chow main which did have more noodles than I could have eaten. He also enjoyed his caramel Boba. He gave me a taste of it and it was quite good! Beautiful presentation of the food to go. It is a small place, however a good place to eat!Vegetarian options: Veggie egg rolls were good."

"6 of us ordered a variety of sushi and sashimi. I am vegetarian and had fried tofu in a sauce and the veggie roll. The tofu was pretty tasteless. The sauce didn't offer much flavor. The sushi fell apart to the touch though presented beautifully. My sweetheart had sashimi which he said was good. Everyone enjoyed the flavored edamame. The service was good but we won't choose this restaurant again. There are too many wonderful Japanese restaurants to enjoy that prepare their food beautifully and with awesome flavor."
