"We had dinner here on October 9. Was very excited to try it out because it has such great reviews. The waiter did not ask how I wanted my steak cooked so he just had it cooked how someone else at my table ordered theirs I guess. It took so long for him to come back, I did not say anything about it. I ordered the five cheese mac cheese and I was brought the lobster mac cheese. A very long time later I actually received the five cheese mac cheese and he told me he took care of the mac cheese on my bill. However, we were charged for both. I ordered a cranberry vodka, I received a soda and vodka, he did fix it, but I don’t understand why there were so many problems. Was not impressed at all. Overall, very disappointing."

"My boyfriend and I just bought a house here. We are quickly discovering Scranton food is … weird. This pizza is one of the better pizzas we’ve had (out of maybe 12 pizzerias). We ordered NY style since he lived there as a boy and frankly the other pizza had American cheese on it, which is disgusting. There was this weird flavor though specifically with the cheese. It tasted like Kraft Mac N Cheese powder! Why does everything here have the flavor that it once came from a box? This is not the apocalypse yet guys. Additionally, they clearly use jarred garlic rather than fresh when ordered on (the other) pie. It tastes super sharp. Everyone in Scranton seems to be getting away with mediocrity. I don’t see this is sustainable. This place was okay otherwise though. Great crust. Okay sauce. Mostly good cheese."

"As usual, the food, and the service was very good. The staff seem to be down and bewildered. I asked what was wrong. They said the general manager Steve was working his last day at the Brick Brew.  We met Steve 3 to 4 years ago, and he was one of the main reasons we made the Brick Brew a regular stop. His attention to detail his sense of humor, and always being impeccably dressed are just some of the highlights.  We met the new manager, and she was very nice but dressed in a nirvana T-shirt a sweater, jeans, and flip-flops or sandals. The staff told me they were in tears when he left the building and a couple customers told me Steve is going to be the GM at Joey chops in Malvern. We will be sure to start supporting him in his new endeavor."

"We went to Salvatore's on our Wedding Anniversary and we will never go back. Waited an hour and a half for our food. No apologies from our sever for waiting so long. My chicken was burned my husband's pasta was overcooked. We told our server, they didn't care. Way over priced. We left a review on Google and we were told that if we changed our review to reflect a more positive experience that we would receive a $100 gift card. I'm not going to lie about my experience to receive a $100 gift card to go back and have the same awful food!"

"Exquisite food in a gorgeous old building. It was fun to look around at the fixtures and beautiful wood touches. Having said that, once seated with drinks....we were asked to move to a different table because of a big party coming in. Poor planning is not our fault! Our salads came out AFTER our entrees, one salad was forgotten, and one was wrong. Yes, they were very busy on a Saturday evening but we made our reservation for 5:00, hoping to miss some of the rush. Because the deep dish was so divine...we will consider coming again while in Chicago."

"I have been eating here for years, I really am sad to say that the drinks have gone downhill. We ordered 4 different types of drinks, they were all terrible (they used to be awesome). Not sure why the change in quality, but I was already apprehensive to come back because the service had gone downhill. Now, the service is good but the drinks have tanked. It’s probably going to be a while before I come back, which is sad, since this place is really conveniently located and within walking distance of my office."

"I was in the opposite and needed lunch before I went to a dr’s appointment. they had recently opened so that the sitting area was not ready. there is a large selection of good looking sandwich options. I chose one of their breakfast bowls instead. I have a mix of quinoa, sweet, with two sunny side eggs. I'm restless when it comes to my rush and how they're tired. they were overcooked. my fault, not to indicate. the bowl was tasty, but with control and drinking money came to a dirty 15 dollar. that seems to be overestimated. all their sandwiches were also on the expensive side."

"We made a last minute reservation after a long day moving and my daughter was craving a great burger. They couldn't be more welcoming even at the late hour. "I had made reservations a week in advance for my wedding anniversary. We were seated immediately in a noisy area where we could hear conversations from other customers and employees throughout our entire meal. Despite having three different servers attending to us, they were unable to bring us bread. I asked multiple times to different people, but our bread only arrived after we had finished eating, and it was cold. We felt ignored and invisible during our meal. "Waiter Johnathan was amazing as always. This is our 4th time dining at Hyde Park. Was consistent and flavorful. . The Signature Bacon app was tasty likely my favorite. Steaks x 3 were absolutely perfect. Proper Temp and full of flavor. 2 Dale Jarrett and one Bone in Filet. Chicken Milanese was crisp with lemon/capers and super tender. "The food is fine. Nice presentation. Solid salads. Really tasty tomato soup. The service is slow though. The margaritas need work. Oversalted rim (see photo) and extra tart mix. The kitchen is exposed to customers and exposes the holes in systems for this restaurant: Staff speaks rudely to management, customers can hear personal conversations of kitchen staff and kitchen staff doesn't move with any urgency or a plan. Because the kitchen is open, customers can see the food coming out from the kitchen and just sitting for a while to be picked up. Our table was having a great time chatting so the wait didn't bother us but there were others around us that seemed displeased. If they could fix these issues, it would be a decent spot."

"I arrived at the restaurant and was promptly greeted and seated, despite it being 9:50 PM. My girlfriend and I were served by our waitress, Jennifer, who was incredibly kind and provided us with excellent and swift service. She ordered the chocolate chip pancakes, while I chose the "pot of gold." As someone from Maryland, I enjoy exploring the local cuisine, and this dish did not disappoint. My meal was served hot and fresh, and the toasted and buttered bread was a delightful addition. My girlfriend's pancakes were exceptionally fluffy and required no syrup at all, which is impressive since I'm not a fan of pancakes—yet I could happily eat these! I would rate this experience a perfect 10/10 and highly recommend it to anyone in or visiting the Westfield area. I’ll definitely be returning!"

"After many years of knowing that this little place was there, we finally decided to give it a try. I was able to get reservations. It’s in a strip mall. They’re very crowded and it’s the kind of place where people stay and hang out and have long conversations, everybody knows each other, which meant that the table turnover was very slow. We did have to wait about half an hour past our reservation time and it was worth it. The food was very good. The people working there were nonstop rushing around. It was hard to get their attention, but they were very efficient. I don’t know if it’s that way every night. Again high energy really good food. It felt like a neighborhood spot and we will definitely be returning."
