"This was my first trip to Louisville and it was a pleasure. Martini's has a great selection of bourbon and wines, wonderful menu and food, and good service from David. They even allowed us to stay a little late while they were cleaning up to allow us time to finish up our meeting. I'm hoping to be back to Louisville in the next few months and plan to visit Martini's again. My dinner date really enjoyed her Appletini's, her favorite."

"We discovered Mangia while strolling through the city and decided to stop in for a refuel. The atmosphere is delightful, and the service is top-notch, especially from the staff at the counter. We were a group of 10, and they managed our orders perfectly, despite the usual challenges of large groups—like indecision, last-minute changes, and special requests. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I can’t wait to return the next time I’m in NYC."

"We have eaten here several times before and have enjoyed the food, though service has been spotty. Last night we were seated in a room with what I can only call bad karaoke and a rowdy crowd. When we go out on a Saturday evening, we want to be able to talk. This was impossible. Our food was delayed at each course, and we didn't get dinner until my husband demanded our food. We asked for the leftovers to be wrapped and for the check. We were there for 2 unbearable hours, and will never eat here again. "We ordered plain pies and a shrimp scampi pizza for my daughters birthday a few weeks ago and both were very good. I think this is our new pizza spot. I’m very picky with pizza and I really enjoyed the plain, no complaints at all. We are looking forward to trying more of their food. I like that they have such a variety on their menu too.Update 12/6/22. This is now our go to pizza place.Their pizza is really good. If you haven’t tried it yet, get the meat lovers pizza."

"I was quite surprised to see this restaurant with a 4-star review. My experience was far from what I had expected. I attended a dinner party with 6 guests and started with the meatballs, which were lacking in substance. The texture was dry and the sauce seemed like a plain spaghetti sauce. The bruschetta followed, with soggy toast but tasty mozzarella, tomato, and basil. I wasn't a fan of the calamari's shape, but the breading was decent. The Caesar salad was good, but the main entree lacked originality. The teriyaki sauce tasted store-bought, and the salmon was overcooked despite my request for medium doneness. The black rice was undercooked in some parts and dried out in others. As an Asian person, I could tell that the ingredients were not cooked properly. The green beans side dish was tasty, though. I decided to skip dessert out of fear of more disappointment and left for another restaurant. I was very displeased with the slow service, dirty silverware, and mediocre atmosphere. I would rate the food and service a 3, and the atmosphere a 3 as well."

"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"I ordered Linguine alla vongole. The clams were fine but the pasta was awful. It tasted as if they had left it standing somewhere for awhile. It was all stuck together, cold and tasted like cardboard. I have gone for dinner and that was fine but lunch was terrible. Service was slow and I will not return for awhile and no recommend lunch at Carmine’s"

"I visited this restaurant for lunch after the Radio City Christmas Spectacular on December 29, 2023. I ordered the Serafina Chicken Salad, our kids enjoyed buttered pasta, and my wife had the chicken parmesan. The portions were generous, fresh, and delicious. We were seated right away as soon as they opened, thanks to our reservation. The restaurant filled up quickly, and it was nearly full just 20 minutes after opening. The atmosphere was clean, the staff was friendly, and the service was prompt and efficient. Plus, the prices were quite reasonable."

"We ate at Serafina for an early dinner after a Sunday matinee. We were greeted warmly by the hostess, seated right away, and then within a few minutes the waiter greeted us and took our drink orders. When it came time to order, the waiter was helpful and informative when we had a question. He was attentive, but didn't rush us at all. The food was all excellent and portions were generous. We had a spinach salad with goat cheese and an arugula salad with a fig dressing to start. Then we had lasagna, rigatoni bolognese, and cacio e pepe. All arrived hot, tasty, and al dente. For dessert we shared tiramisu, profiteroles, and the ricotta cheesecake, which was exceptional! At the end of the evening, the waiter offered to take a picture to help commemorate the event. It was such a wonderful evening, the perfect end to a fun afternoon in NYC."

"Upon our arrival, our coats were checked at the door, and we were seated promptly, even though we were a few minutes late due to road conditions. Our waitress, Sonya, was incredibly helpful, polite, articulate, and friendly. She provided us with detailed information about the menu items, and despite the great descriptions, we had more questions. Sonya was amazing! We really appreciated her service. The drink menu was impressive as well. For appetizers, we ordered raw oysters and fried calamari, both of which were delicious. Now, onto the main event: the steaks! Being from the South, we have a deep love for beef, particularly steak. All four of us agreed that the steaks were phenomenal! Three of us had the 10oz Ribeye, and one of us had the 6oz Filet Mignon. They were seasoned to perfection and cooked rare, with presentation that was impeccable! The steaks were incredibly tender and practically melted in our mouths. We shared the generous side portions, and we loved the Brussels sprouts and mashed potatoes. For dessert, we indulged in the lava cake, which was truly heavenly! We couldn’t have been more satisfied with our experience. We definitely discovered a hidden gem in New Haven. Once word gets out, I’m sure it won’t be as easy to snag a reservation."

"We’ve been walking by Los Mariachis for years and finally got a chance to stop in. Hands down the best Mexican food in the neighborhood. Super authentic and a great menu. We got tacos, chicken and steak both excellent. LA style tacos. No flourtortillas here. Also got chicken milanesa platter. Comes with rice and beans. the quesadilla was not why I expected. It wasfried and amazing. The waitstaff was so great. Definitely will be back soon. I’ve been so curious about this spot. What anamazing restaurant on CIA."

"The owner reacted defensively. To emphasize his point, he attempted to seat our party of three at a tiny booth meant for two. When I explained that it was inappropriate given the other available tables, he still refused to accommodate us. I explained that he could easily put us at a vacant table and move someone else to our old one, but it seemed he highly prioritized the incoming reservations over our comfort. He insisted he was fully booked, but as I pointed out, there were still vacant tables and a possibility to rearrange. Reservations don't assign specific tables from the moment they're made; when we checked in was when he made the seating decision. When I suggested he give us one of the unoccupied tables, he pointed at me and said, "I am the owner—don’t you dare tell me how to run my business." At that point, we chose to leave. I've never experienced such terrible treatment from an owner, and it's clear to me that this is not how you treat returning customers—or anyone else, for that matter."

"I had a fantastic brunch experience overall, rating it a 4.5 out of 5. Jamie, our server, deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5 – he was outstanding. The restaurant has an a la carte menu, which is not my favorite style, but the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, potatoes, and sausage, and the portion sizes were just right for me – enough to satisfy me without overeating. The potatoes were absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had. I don't know what they seasoned them with, but I almost wanted to order more. However, I managed to resist the temptation! For brunch drinks, I tried the pear bellini and mimosa, which were a bit bland but did the trick. It seemed like the drinks were pre-mixed and served from a pitcher. Besides the amazing food, Jamie really stood out during our meal. He was quietly attentive, able to gauge the mood of our table and provide service at just the right times. When my friend and I were having a private conversation, he respected our space and did not interrupt. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great brunch experience."

"I friend back home recommended this place. We made reservations for a casual Christmas dinner. We had an awesome 2 top in the front window with all the Lincoln Ave decorations lit up! Great service and food, and we so appreciated it on Christmas after a day of skiing! Italian cream sodas were the bomb, the wedge salad and bread was a great start, our entrees were delicious, and we had coffee and a fudge brownie sundae for dessert. What a wonderful Christmas Dinner!! Thank you!"

"My friends and I were looking forward to our meal at Gibsons, but the overall experience was just OK. We had a 7pm reservation but did not get seated until 7:45. It was busy there but this is unacceptable, and I was embarrassed because I had suggested going there. We each ordered a drink, appetizers, shared sides, and each of us got the 10 oz filet mignon. The mashed potatoes were beyond salty but the rest of the food was OK. Bottom line, though, is I have had better meals at half the price, and probably won't go back. The one bright spot was our sever, Diana, who was great."

"I had made a reservation for 7:30. It was my son's birthday. We also stayed at the River Crab hotel there . We were seated at 7:45 At 8:05 No one still had come to.our table. Had to ask for water and 8:15 a boy brought us water and said he would send over a waitress. 8:30 still no waitress Got up and told the hostess to please send a waitress. 8 :40 still no one. Every waitress passed out table like we were not even there. I.was so upset that we got up and left the restaurant and went somewhere else.to eat. There were 4 of us and my son's birthday was totally ruined!!!!!. I have never in my life treated so poorly at a restaurant. I will be sure to tell my friends of the horrible service we received.
