"A nice Irish pub. Visited Sat March 16th. Went for the corn beef and cabbage. Sadly a big disappointment. Food was terrible. Corn beef tasted like it was heavily salted and ruined taste. Cabbage was mixed with mashed potatoes, yuk Wife's corn beef was a solid lump and not editable . Food was prepared ahead of time and arrive with our appetizers. Service was take your order and never to be seen again. Appetizers were good, mushrooms and Dragon Eggs. We would go back for the pub experience and possible pub grub. However, meal and service I would not recommend."

"First time there will not be back. We were the only ones there and did took forever. The bill came and I was Overcharged by 6.50 so I questioned it. Waitress was gone over give minutes and brought back the correct total. Handed it to me the on a hand written receipt. I gave my credit card and after it was ran was told total was higher because I paid with card and the price she wrote was a cash price. What??? I asked where it says that and she replies if I gave you a register receipt it would have said that but I had to hand write it. I responded and said you should have told me that then and I would have paid cash. Seems to me they were just trying to make extra money with the hand written bill and wrong amounts!! Will never go back. Update: owner responded. Did not understand my issue. First handwritten check was $6.50 Overcharged. That was corrected and the new bill was$24.and change. Second check was correct but was not informed that if I pay cash it would be less so I was charged a higher price $25. . when I questioned the waitress she responded by saying since it was handwritten, It did not tell me cash would be cheaper only ones printed from the register. I said she should have mentioned that when taking my card and I would have paid cash. No other restaurant I have been two charges two different prices. I understand very well about cc fees but was never informed of the price difference before paying. If I was, I would have paid cash! "I'm a Dasher and with the corporate places such as Burger King and McDonald's you'll get some rude feedback when you're low on gas your car sometimes overheats and you don't want to take the car through the drive-thru while the dining room is closed when it is supposed to be open or closed earlier than drive thru service hours and you call to have them bring the order out. They're not understanding of a car issue or the fact that gas is Skyrocket High because honestly as a Dasher I don't feel that it's right I wait in the 20 car line at Jack In The Box for my food so I commend Jack in the Box for understanding and bringing my order out even though I've had a couple of the employees tell me I have to go through the drive-thru they're probably not the best workers there they do the bare minimum, but this place was very understanding and polite about it. I was standing at the drive-thru menu because they had closed the inside area which made it look closed which might not be good for their business but besides the fact they didn't give me any problems like Wendy's did. And for people who are trying to do their part and prevent the Catalyst of global warming all the major chains should adopt bringing a delivery order out to the car like KFC and Jack in the Box, Jack in the Box has a spot for customers to do that but some of them employees will give a Dasher a hard time about it when it should just be the same concept KFC they get the concept and bring a delivery order out to customer and Dasher alike"

"Being from out of town this was just a place we randomly found online. I was a little off put when we arrived because I felt like we were in the middle of a neighborhood and it seemed very quiet for a Friday night but once inside it was a completely different atmosphere.It's not a restaurant with typical servers. You order your food and drinks at the register you are given a number and its brought out to you. Cocktails are delicious. (I had the Blackberry margaritas) Lots of outside seating with good view, a bar, plenty of tablesThey have a few options for kids which was cool but my 5 year old decided on the fish taco instead and LOVED IT. Hes still talking about it. Clam Chowder was amazing.While pricy for a casual dinner it was definitely worth every cent."

"I have ordered curried chicken roti from this restaurant twice now, and both times I have been let down. The portion size was small, with only 4 small pieces of chicken in a bowl that seemed to be sitting in oily, dirty water. The curry flavor was barely there, making the chicken taste bland. I also ordered Dahl puri to go with it, but was disappointed to find that the roti was dry and there was only a small amount of split pea filling. I ate it because I had already paid for it and was hungry, but I will not be ordering from this restaurant again."

"I grew up in Burien but spend half my time in California these days. When I am in California, I go looking for good fish and chips which is hard to find. I do not know why good fish and chips is so hard to find in many cities in California, but it is. Gives me a great appreciation for Ivar's. I returned to Burien on Memorial Day Weekend. The first place I dined out at was Ivar's. It did not disappoint. I enjoy the clam chowder and the fish and chips. The tarter sauce is good as well and good fish and chips needs a good tarter sauce to go with it. I have been to Ivar's all over the Puget Sound Region and find them consistently good. There is one complaint I have, that is the ketchup they use is terrible. I keep trying it and for years have tried it at multiple Ivar's locations and it is always the worst ketchup I have ever had. This would be a 5 star review if it were not for the ketchup."

"I read the reviews for Your Place Restaurant and was a little hesitant to make a reservation for 7 but Hershey was crowded because of the State Cross Country Meet. Most every other eatery was booked except for very early or very late and so off we went. The mistake is thinking that You are going to a restaurant. Your Place is a Pub/Bar and that is what I expected and that is what it was for us. The noise level is loud but the service, the food and the prices were all fine. Some of us played pool, some of us watched football on TV and some of us just chilled. I would recommend Your Place but have You understand that this is a Pub/Bar...sit back and enjoy."

"Fast forward one week to my return trip, riding from South Carolina back to Canada. Again, after 11 hours on the road, I stopped at this pub because it was the nearest option to my hotel. The beer was cold, but the Chicken Caesar Salad was a complete letdown. It had wilted, days-old lettuce, tiny pieces of processed chicken even smaller than the croutons, three thick slices of onion, and a ton of bottled "Greek" dressing that made everything float. It was absolutely disgusting, and I sent it back. Even the waitress acknowledged that it was bad—any decent waitress wouldn't have served it in the first place. Then, about 15 minutes later, the cook (or manager) came out to ask about the salad. While I appreciated that he asked, having to explain the terrible quality indicated a lack of understanding of food preparation on his part. He admitted there was too much dressing but then made excuses about food supply challenges. I don’t care about the restaurant's issues; I just want quality food. I explained what a proper Chicken Caesar Salad should look like. Save yourself the trouble and skip this place! It would be better to pack a lunch in your saddlebags—anything you bring will be fresher."
