I have been dining at this restaurant for years and absolutely love their cod fish and chips. The establishment is consistently clean and the service is fast and friendly.

I ordered the full boat to serve my entire family. It was a great value and the food was delicious. We also got extra chowder because we love it. I was a bit surprised to see a $13 chicken sandwich on the menu at Ivar's, but I suppose it's there for those who want it.

I am very unhappy! Everything was cold except the chowder. The fish was limp and soggy. The fries were rubbery and dry. The cold slaw was watery and looked like it had been sitting a while. The chowder was the best bur even it was not hot. Feels like we were sent day old food. View menu

The clam chowder was delicious and impressively hot despite being delivered. The clams were decent, but I have to agree with others that there was too much breading and not enough clam, which is accurate. The fries were almost cold. The chowder was definitely the standout dish.

Food was good. The Cajun cod doesnt have much flavor with a slight spice to it. We ordered coleslaw that never came and there was no sauces or crackers for the chowder which we ordered as well. You cant add special instructions either or say "extra sauce" to make sure you get any.
