"It would have been 5 stars but, they didnt give us enough fries this time. they also didnt give us any vinegar packets this time. It irritates me that the prices to have food delivered is so much more but the service is so much less. They always forget things unless you are there to check the bag. Its bad customer service."

"I ordered food for pick up online and was very disappointed with the quality. I arrived at the designated time to find that the food was barely warm. The seafood combo (clams, shrimp, and cod) was overcooked, the fries were greasy and soggy, and the cocktail sauce tasted nothing like it should. The white clam chowder was lukewarm but at least somewhat edible. I was only given a soup spoon to eat with, forcing me to use my fingers for the rest of the meal. Despite the restaurant's Google page stating they offered curbside pick-up, I had to go inside to retrieve my order. When I tried to call for assistance due to my disability, my calls went unanswered. Once inside, it took a while to get anyone's attention, despite the lack of other customers. I haven't visited this restaurant in years and will not be returning. The quality of the meal did not justify the cost, and I ended up throwing away half of it."

"The fish and chips and Caesar salad are excellent, with very fresh ingredients. I particularly enjoyed the coleslaw, which was better than those I have had at other barbecue places - it was very fresh and light. These side dishes are of a quality that you would not expect at a fast-food restaurant. Ivars is a Seattle institution for good reason!"

"The 3-piece fish and chips and kids' fish and chips were not cooked properly - the fries were cold and soggy. The 3-piece Cajun fish and chips were also cold and the fish was overcooked. This was the worst experience I've had at this restaurant."

"I eat here often as a dine in slice and beer lunch place. It is good. But when you take the pie home and it cools you realize it’s not that great. And I love cold pizza. I almost prefer it. So I decided to write a review. The dough is good. The ovens are alright. It’s a properly toasted and chewy pizza. No issue there. But the sauce and cheese ratio seems inconsistent and the sauce has been off recently. It is too salty and spicy. It needs more sweetness to balance out their stanky hot pepperoni. Dine in, or forget it."

"This is my first time ordering from here and I just got a plain cheese pizza. Sauce is very spicy for red sauce. Not bad, but if you don’t do well with heat you’re in trouble. Cheese mixture was good, but the crust was very dry and more like a cracker than thin crust pizza. Was fine for what it was but kinda bizarre. Not sure I’d order from here again unless it’s super late and nothing else is open.Edit: it gets worse. Half of it was burned. ? I understand food service is rough right now, but I think this place would benefit from a little more care."

"Walking through downtown one day I saw Skalka, and my Spidey sense went off. I had a feeling it was going to be delicious. So I made a point to come back and try it. Boy, I was not wrong! Being my first intro to Georgian bakery food, I 'm afraid they may be setting the bar too high. The Stroganoff I got was extremely tasty and rich. There 's not a lot to pick from, but they do those few types of dish extremely well. The only reason this wasn 't a 5 star experience for me was because of their strictly self-service mode of operation now. No one taking orders, answering questions, no owner to meet. Call me old fashioned, digging that personal connection, but I 'd rather engage with people any day over order like that. Just a kiosk, and a place to pick up your food when it 's ready. The whole vibe of that just feels entirely unwelcoming. The actual building space where you eat was a nice cafe style, though! So if you 're looking for a tasty and unique experience that has quite rich food, make sure to give Skalka a shot!"
