"I have always bought from here, but this time they served me raw chicken made me sick, I went to get a refund and the huh argues with the hired, it was cooked, but obviously someone can say the difference between raw and boiled huh, very rude and evil gave me a partial refund, never again buy from them, stay out of this place the new mangement is disgusted!"

"The restaurant looks incredibly luxurious in pictures, but don't let that intimidate you—there's no dress code (which is something I initially thought might be a reason I hesitated to visit). This place has definitely earned a spot on my favorites list; the food is fantastic! The wait time is around 10 minutes, and they serve water in charming masonry pitchers. Overall, my fiancée and I had a great experience here. I highly recommend everyone give this place a try!"

"Yesterday, my cousin and I dined at this restaurant for the first time, and we were truly impressed by the decor, service, and delicious food. Our waiter, Simson, was incredibly attentive, friendly, and quick. All of the appetizers and main dishes were fresh and flavorful. We started with shumai and gyoza, which are pork dumplings, and for our main course, we enjoyed crunchy tuna and crab rolls, a volcano roll, a shrimp tail roll, seafood fried rice, and General Tso's chicken. The restaurant's interior exuded a cultural Japanese ambiance, with beautiful furniture, art, and seating. We will definitely be returning to this place again; the food and service are outstanding."

"Most of the food here is delicious. The sushi, seaweed salad, and beef negimaki are all fantastic. However, today we tried the chicken curry and it was the worst I’ve ever had. I recommend dining here, just avoid the curry! As for dietary restrictions, there are plenty of gluten-free options available."

"This place is always slow, but today they were horrible. They've got like 4 people standing around doing absolutely nothing and it took 30 minutes to get our order (wrong); it was missing two of the 5 items. Ordered at 1:40, got our order at 2:12, and got what was missing at 2:20. Either everyone on day shift needs to be let go or they need to step up their game.Edit: Customer service gave me a $10 coupon, which I will definitely not be using at this location. Go somewhere else, whether it's a different location or different restaurant."

"While I have other favorites for purely Northern, Southern, and Dim Sum cuisine, I was pleasantly surprised by this establishment. It opened five years ago, and although I had passed by for years thinking it was just another average Chinese spot, I finally decided to visit a few months ago. I discovered that they offer dishes not found in other nearby restaurants, and they excel at preparing authentic dishes from both Northern and Southern China. I even requested a dish that wasn't on the menu, and I was delighted when they were able to accommodate me with a fantastic meal. I've dined at Chinese restaurants in cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Vancouver, TX, New York, and Florida, and while this restaurant may not be the absolute best, it stands out as a very good option for this area."

"A safe bet for a good dinner. Hunan Garden is one of those restaurants we get takeout from occasionally, where we know what the expect and we always get good food. Their mongolian beef is some of the best I've had in Birmingham. Their shrimp fried rice is tasty with big plump shrimp, not those tiny canned shrimp you get at other restaurants. The Hot and Sour soup isn't the best in Birmingham but it's not BAD either. I think the egg rolls are Jade Mountain frozen ones like I can buy at Sysco because they aren't anything special. They aren't bad, but they look machine made... not fat, too perfectly shaped.. I've had better egg rolls. Still I recommend Hunan to anyone wanting some traditional Chinese food in the Hoover area."

"Decided to switch up our sushi routines and tried Hokkaido Sushi Teppan. They have great happy hour appetizer and sushi specials including one of my favorites, takoyaki, which was cooked to perfection with a creamy inside, super tender octopusbites inside, and a generous portion of bonito flakes on top (only thing it was missing was the Mayo on top). I tried thehibachi (they have the tables for the show but they serve it sans-show on the regular table side) and the steak was cookedperfectly medium rare, the scallops still tender, and about $5 cheaper than Kobe (though Kobe’s soup, ginger dressing, noodsand white sauce are still king). The sushi was also excellent with generous amounts of quality tuna in the tuna roll, greatconsistency and flavor on the rice, crisp tempura shrimp, and well constructed rolls. Excellent service, clean dining area andbathrooms. Only thing is it’s a bit small, I think 4-5 hibachi tables for 8 and the regular seating was about 10 tables,probably could seat 30? But they were doing a big takeout business too so you can get it to go as well."

"On our way back from Legoland we stopped by for quick dinner and that was the only place nearby that was open that late on weekday. The food came pretty quick and the staffs were sweet as they were about to close and they let the kids finish their food. "Went in (mostly blind as we just moved to the area and only went off of totally mixed reviews from here — glad we took a shot because everything was delicious! Pork lo mein had a smoky flavor that I love and the dumplings and wontons tasted like the dough is homemade. This also made the wonton soup taste so homey it hit the spot. Cheese crab wontons were pretty good, sesame chicken was super crispy! My only thing is that the steamed dumplings didn’t come with any kind of dipping sauce. But for the quality of the food and the kind service I can do without it!
