"It was my first time back in years, but my girlfriends first time. Making the reservation via OpenTable was easy enough. On arrival, our greeter/waitstaff was friendly, but her attire did not have a logo or nametag...but that may be a “Joe’s thing”. Initial service was quick drink orders taken and time to view the menu was adequate. I did have to ask twice for a damp towel to clean the table. The first time I told a passing staffer no response and the second time I told our waitstaff and she took care of it, wiping down the table herself. We skipped the appetizers and my girlfriend had the cedar plank salmon, and I had the dish with a shrimp skewer, shrimp in garlic butter sauce, veggies, and rice. For both our dishes, the veggies were inedible like they were frozen then heated in a microwave before serving. I asked for and received extra garlic butter sauce and put that on my rice, making it the best part of my meal. The shrimp, skewer or in sauce, were just barely so so. We ordered a piece of chocolate cake to take with us for dessert, and it was very good. We were not ever offered refills on our waters. Again, that may be a “Joe’s thing”: leave the guests alone so they can eat type thing."
