"Upon entering, I noticed that the screen was not attached to the front door, making it impossible to keep it open for fresh air without letting in bugs. We tried to overlook that. In the bathroom, there was a vent window, but again, no screen. The walls had dead spiders, but we thought we could manage despite these issues.
Then my wife went to take a shower. After just a couple of minutes, the cold water cut out, and only scalding hot water came out of the faucet, causing her to burn herself. I tried using the sink and encountered the same problem. It turned out the sink valve was closed due to a leak, and every time we needed to use the sink, we had to turn the valve off at the floor. I had the same issue with the shower the next morning.
Additionally, the pillows were unpleasant, and the bedding on the two beds was mismatched. Overall, the room looked haphazard, as if it had been thrown together from a thrift store. While I can overlook many things, not being able to shower properly is simply unacceptable. After one night, we decided to check out, despite having booked for two. Management was supposed to call me regarding our experience, but it's been ten days now with no response. I'm doubtful I'll get my money back for the unused night. I will update my review if management eventually reaches out and refunds us for the second night.
