"I ordered two Caesar salads with chicken, onion rings, jalapeño poppers, and garlic bread. What I actually received were two salads, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, and garlic bread. The onion rings were probably the highlight of the meal, but that's not saying much. The mozzarella sticks were cold, and the garlic bread was soggy and soft. Unfortunately, the salads were the worst part. It was clear that they had been prepared in advance and left out, as the lettuce was in terrible condition—limp and dressed with a strange, tangy, eggy sauce. My sister could barely eat more than two bites.
To make matters worse, the salads were not what was advertised. While the romaine and chicken were correct, there was an unexpected Italian dressing flavor along with cucumbers and tomatoes, to which I am allergic. Neither restaurant claims to offer a salad consisting solely of cucumbers, tomatoes, and chicken. I've never encountered a more unappetizing salad in my life, and I've had my fair share of them.
Overall, I would give this experience a -10/10. I will never order from El Ranchito or Pasta Brava again."
